Silver Reef Mine | Ball Pit & Hot Tub

This brand-new home is the perfect place to get away with your family! This home is named after Silver Reef, Utah, a nearby mining town in the 1800s. Kids will be entertained for hours in the themed bunk rooms and ball pit.

There is patio furniture and a private hot tub you can enjoy out on the private landing while watching the sunset on the mountains above.

Escape Properties are here as a tool during your stay, but we try to stay out of your way as you enjoy your vacation. If you need us we are here!

This is the upper floor unit with its own outside stairs entrance.

NOTE: This home is a DUPLEX known as Passport Village. This is the upper unit and there may be other guests or pets staying in the downstairs unit. There is a private entrance/patio (up the stairs).

Primary Bedroom: Queen bed with ensuite (sleeps 1-2)
Guest Suite: Queen bed with ensuite (sleeps 1-2)
Bunk Room 1: Queen bunk bed (sleeps 1-4)
Bunk Room 2: Twin bunk bed (sleeps 1-2) with ball pit!

PETS: This home is pet friendly so the whole family can tag along for the vacation!
Bringing a pet, you will be subject to a one time $45 fee per pet.
Please notify us of the number, breed and weight of any pets you will be bringing. (all animals must be under 50 pounds)
We ask that you do not allow your pets onto the furniture.
We do provide lint rollers at the home for your use to assist us in removal of pet hair from furniture and bedding.
While it is impossible to remove all signs of pet hair, our cleaners do thoroughly clean the entire home including bedding and furniture.

(Pet fee is not automatically applied and will be due after booking)

This home is on a main road. Be advised, you may hear vehicles passing by from inside the unit.

About the onsite project:
In 2022, there will be two more buildings built that will incorporate 8 additional 1 bedroom, one bath units (4 Plex) that will resemble the old west towns of the Southwest like Tombstone AZ on the outside and very modern contemporary on the inside. Each new unit will have a private hot tub and sleep 1-4 persons.

If you have a large group this property can be rented out exclusively as well or multiple units. It really will be a unique property in the heart of the Southwest.

2-4 days before arrival you will get a link to our check in instructions. Please check that your number is updated in Airbnb. If your number changes after booking, please send a message and let us know.

Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign & agree to our rental conditions.

The condo was very clean and as pictured. Our 7 year old loved the ball pit and play area. Our teenager loved the hot tub. It was within a very reasonable driving distance to Zion which is where we were visiting.

The property was clean and ready, and check-in was very easy. Our boys loved the ball pit and climbing wall, and it was a relief to have a kid-friendly space without fragile decorations to worry about.The main concerns were safety and comfort: the stairs were unlit and a bit slippery, with standing water at the top and around the deck. The driveway angle made entry tough—we worried about popping a tire going off the edge on one side or over the curb on the other. The property also had a minimum temp of 72, not disclosed beforehand, which caused issues for my heat-sensitive spouse and required a box fan. Check-out was difficult—we were offered late check-out, submitted info and payment, and waited for approval but never got a reply. The cleaner still arrived while we were packing. Overall, fun stay, but communication and maintenance need improvement.

Fun place to stay

Overall this was a fun place for our family. Plenty of space for 9 of us to sleep, the hot tub was nice and location wasn't bad. I will say, it was very windy and the door was drafty and whistling. I saw a few roaches inside and the floor wasn't the cleanest. The door lock also locks by itself after certain times which was a little scary in the early morning when the thing was beeping all by itself. My kids loved the rooms and my teens had their own space so I'd call it a win. els.

Great rental for families

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The ball pit was a huge hit. The unit was very nice and clean. The check in process and communication were varied and clear. There could be a few more lights on the stairs outside. We arrived when it was dark and the stairs were a little precarious going up and down. We had a great stay, would highly recommend.

Great stay in Hurricane

We enjoyed this property very much. Our older kids loved the ball pit room and we each enjoyed the bedrooms. Nice rooms and plenty of space. The hot tub was enjoyed every evening and a family fav. It’s about a 20-30 min drive to Zion. Hurricane has a great River Rock coffee shop with good food and coffee right around the corner. Great location!

Nights after Zion

We stayed 3 nights here as part of our time visiting Zion. This location was a 30 minute drive to the Visitor Center and much more affordable than locations closer to the park. Pros: - Ball pit room was a hit! The kids absolutely loved this room. It was clean and a nice size - Hot tub was nice after long days of hiking - Beds were comfortable and climate controls worked very well - Availability of laundry was excellent Cons: - There was a lack of kitchen utensils for cooking and reheating - The soaps provided were a bit watered down - The wifi was slow if more than one device was connected Overall, our stay here was fantastic and we would like stay here again given the price, location, and amenities available.

Cheap upstairs unit

Everything is as listed. 4 sleeping rooms and 3 bathrooms. Only 5 places to sit in the living room. Internet is very slow. Ball pit was amazing!

Silver Reef Upper

The good. Great location between St George and Zion. Well priced. The ball pit room is a lot of fun. It does stink to hunt down kid's items that get lost in there but overall fun concept. One rock wall handle is loose and should be tightened. The beds were generally comfortable. We used the hot tub each night. The pictures do a good job of showing the space. The layout was as expected. It was clean upon arrival save one bed sheet seeming dirty (crumbs). Do better. Really poor quality soap, lotion, toilet paper, towels. Did the shampoo and the soap come out of the same large hand soap bottle being stored at the home? It looked like it and felt like it. I understand not providing premium brands but this was bottom barrel. The Wifi is poor. Streaming got interrupted a lot. I am not a contractor or engineer but I would be really worried about the hot tub on the top deck. The drainage up there isn't good. Standing water on deck at railing side of hot tub at all times. Generally water doesn't drain off their well. I would also include instructions on hot tub. I wasn't sure how you wanted it turned off or managed during our stay. More storage in the bedrooms is needed. We had trouble with parking one night, no spots. The grill needs updated or cleaned. We enjoyed our stay overall but Improving the toilet type items and wifi would push this place over the top.

Great Place in a Great Location

Really enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable and even the adults had fun in the ball pit! The location is really convenient, if you're there to play at Sand Hollow like we were. We're very likely to stay again.

Great home

We stayed for five nights. House was clean and in great location. Only thing we noticed was that one pillow was stained with makeup, one sheet was stained with brown substance. My friends were visiting from Swiss and had a great time. Jacuzzi was perfect after a long days of hiking. We all fell in love with the home and would recommend it to all our friends and family. Thank you for making this a memorable experience.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. A few things we think could make it better in the future. Instructions for the Hot tub (basic). Instructions (both emailed and written in the binder) said to put dishes in the dishwasher (there wasn't a dishwasher). Lack of space for food storage while there (maybe a cabinet dedicated for some food).

Great stay for families!

This place was amazing for families with kids. The ball pit room and the other bunk bed room were a bit hit with our 8 and 10 year old boys. The hot tub and grill worked great on the patio as well! Overall the place was very clean and kept up. We did have a few issues with the wifi, but we were able to get them resolved through text with the property manager. A few things to consider that didn't affect us really, but worth noting: The entrance to the driveway/parking lot (which seemed to be in progress) was super narrow and hard to get through because of the sidewalk and a large gravel (really large rocks) section. The neighborhood was pretty quiet, but there is a derelict building on the property. We assumed it was part of this ownership and an ongoing project though. Outside of the property, however, some of the neighboring houses did seem run down. The laundry space was nowhere near the quality of the actually rental space. The air conditioning was a bit tricky to figure out, but worked well. Just not consistent temperatures in all the rooms, but may have ben user error. Location overall was great with convenience to stores, including a gas station right night door, and only 30 minutes from Zion National Park.

Fun rooms for the kids

Hi. Our high school girl loved the top full sized bed and my 4th grade soon loved the lava pit and rock wall. We cooked a couple meals and had what we needed. The only downside was temperature- the hot tub wasn’t hot enough and the ac at night wasn’t cold enough. It was close enough to Zion.

Family and friends getaway

What an incredible house, especially ideal for families! My kids absolutely loved the ball pit, which helped keep their bickering to a minimum. We were a group of 10 people and had two dogs, and the house provided ample space for all of us. Although the kitchen area was small, we managed to make it work. The location of the house in a charming little town, with all the necessities like gas stations, grocery stores, fast-food restaurants, and coffee spots nearby. Additionally, it was conveniently situated about 25 minutes away from Zion.

Beautiful house, themed rooms, great location

This house was perfect for our family and a great location for the parks. Each person got their own room and there were 3 bathrooms also. It was well equipped for people flying in with soap and detergent and it even had shampoo and conditioner and body wash in showers. The only thing that surprised me was that the laundry was across the parking lot in the other unit. There were two machines though so that was nice. Only other thing was that you had to sign in with your own accounts for the tv and the internet stopped working on the tv. They were quick to respond with any questions we had and we were able to reset the internet. There was a hot tub but no pool. I would stay there again.
