It is a private, gated waterfront 74 acre ranch with 900 feet of Lake Travis shoreline surrounded by The Texas Hill Country. Deep waterfront at the front of the property offers amazing and expansive views. While it provides luxurious accommodations, it also has all the amenities you can imagine, and once you arrive, you will not want to leave. Amenities include free WiFi, satellite television, Sonos wireless stereo system, a floating boat dock, swimming pool, spa, chipping/putting greens, horseshoe pit, washers’ pit, outdoor chess game, basketball hoop, foosball, ping pong table, pool table, shuffleboard, bicycles, and miles of hiking trails in the property. If you love exploring, bring your mountain bike or 4 wheeler since there are 74 acres for you to enjoy! You can even bring your horses! (Please check with us if you are interested.) The location is perfect because although it feels secluded and private, you are very close to Lago Vista. (This home is closer to Lago Vista than it is to Marble Falls.) with great restaurants, golf, wineries, paint ball, zip lining, etc. It is only 40 miles from downtown Austin.
Acme Ranch is designed to for privacy and solitude while offering many gathering opportunities, including family reunions or business retreats. It has a main residence, cabin and a bunkhouse and offers flexibility for sleeping arrangements up to 25 people.
The pristine surrounding area of limestone formations, rolling hills and many trees provides a very unique environment. There are incredible sunset views of the lake from many locations on the property and a boat dock. There is spectacular stargazing. There is also a 6 acre fenced pasture so you can bring your horses. with prior notification. Flat Creek Winery and Italian bistro a few miles from the property and offers wonderful dining and wine tasting experience.
Main Residence: Inside the main residence, there’s the essence of sophisticated design: clean, simple lines and first-class materials. It blends space, light, and art beautifully with its high ceilings, open, airy rooms and stained concrete floors. It offers a sense of grandeur, all encompassing quality from its meticulous details to its broad architectural designs, and a designer’s touch with striking uses of natural stone, metal, wood, and artistic glass accents. This is completed with comfortable fine furnishings throughout.
The spacious open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living spaces is ideal for entertaining friends, family and coworkers. To satisfy your culinary needs, the kitchen has been stocked with all the amenities needed to prepare for a quick meal or for a formal dinner. It has gorgeous limestone counters, wood cabinets, double oven, two refrigerators, large pantry and Dacor appliances. The open floor plan allows interaction of the guests whether they are cooking, sitting at the breakfast bar, playing a game of pool, watching television, or simply relaxing and enjoying the view.
With each of the beautifully decorated bedrooms, it’s easy to see that ACME Ranch is a vacation home of substance and style. The Master Suite has a king size bed, office, dressing room and a luxurious bathroom with great views of Lake Travis from the jetted tub. There is also an outdoor shower adjacent to the bathroom. Each of the two guest rooms has a queen bed, three twin beds and a private bath. The main residence sleeps 12 comfortably.
Transition seamlessly from indoors to outdoors by opening the expansive sliding glass doors. The living space extends to a large covered lanai with an outdoor kitchen and additional seating. It offers alfresco dining and relaxing possibilities with panoramic views of Lake Travis that will delight you. Stay a while and enjoy an amber sunset over the lake and hillside.
Cabin: The original homestead has been updated and is a perfect companion for the main home. With beautiful glass mosaic accents, full kitchen and an inviting interior, it offers a quiet getaway from the main home. The covered front porch encourages you to linger. It has 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, futon, full bathroom and sleeps 4-6.
Bunkhouse: The bunkhouse is on the second floor of ‘The Barn.’ It is a spacious, open room with bunk beds (6 twin beds, 2 full beds), a futon, foosball table, a kitchenette with microwave and small refrigerator and sleeps 10-12.
The outdoor setting with all of the available activities gives this home a very unique advantage over most vacation homes. The combination of Lake Travis, The Texas Hill Country, and a private ranch will completely remove you from any stress and worries you might have had, leaving you revived and renewed. Acme Ranch is the essence of a luxury vacation home—and a little bit extra. The property is lakefront and you can enjoy water recreation like boating, fishing, skiing, and swimming in the lake. There are some basic fishing poles so you can try your luck fishing off the deck. (Please bring your own hooks and tackle.)
Walking trails have been cut so you can enjoy the quietness outdoors.
With all of its amenities, once you arrive, you will not want to ever leave!!
Information on Lake Travis & dock: Lake Travis is a beautiful lake which offers all kinds of boating activities. When it is full it is 681 ft deep. It is not a constant level lake so the level depends on drought situations. Please check current level before making a reservation. Refunds are not given for low lake levels. This is a bluff property which requires stairs/steps to the lake and dock.
Cancellation Policy: Reservation/Rental deposit & Final Rental Amount: Should you fail to utilize this reservation, LESSOR retains all funds received by LESSEE as liquidated damages unless a cancellation is requested within 3 days of making the first payment or the confirmed unit is re-rented at the same rate for the same time period. If the latter occurs, we retain a 25% administrative fee. Failure to return the lease in the requested time may also constitute a cancellation and the cancellation policy will apply. Before you book, please consider the effects COVID-19 could make on your reservation. Since all bookings made at this point occur with knowledge of the virus and possible consequences, our normal cancellation policy is now in effect. We strongly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to cover any possible loss.
RESTRICTIONS: No bachelor or bachelorette parties or other “drinking focus” parties. Weddings are not allowed. No large groups where everyone or most people are 30 years of age or younger. Rental will depend on purpose of get together, etc. No 1 night rentals. The maximum # of people on the property is 25. This includes ALL day and night guests so it does not matter if everyone is not spending the night. Two dogs may be allowed but please ask for permission and any fees that might apply.
HOMEAWAY PROCEDURE: When you have interest in renting a property, you have 2 choices. You may do a “Request to Book” or you may “Ask Manager a Question.” 1) Ask Manager a Question: If you are not sure you want to book this home yet or if you are not sure if this home is a good fit, PLEASE choose “Ask Manager a Question.” That will allow us to discuss any questions you might have or find out if it is a good fit WITHOUT your credit card being charged. 2) Request to Book: If you make a reservation, you will be asked to answer a few questions for a lease agreement by email. You will need to send the answers back as soon as possible or within 24 hours. A lease agreement will be emailed to you. It will need to be signed and returned within a week of you making the first payment along with a copy of your driver's license. Failure to return it could result in a cancellation with the cancellation policy applied. A second payment request will be sent automatically about a week before your payment is due, which will be 30 days before your arrival. Access information will be sent to you at least 2 weeks before your check in date. VRBO/Homeaway returns all refundable security deposits 14 days after your check out date.

Do you recommend a caterer? Yes, we will send the information with the lease agreement Do you allow weddings? I am sorry, but we do not. What size boat will fit in the boat dock slip? The actual slip is 24'2" x 10' (although you probably would want more than a 9' wide boat to enter the dock. There is an additional 15 inch length of roof overhang, so a 26' boat would barely hang out past the roof line. The lift beams are 12' long and run between 3' and 15' into the slip. What is the weight limit for the boat? ~6500 pounds Can we have a noon check out? It depends on if there is a conflict with another reservation or scheduled maintenance Do you offer daily cleaning? Arrangements can be made with our cleaning company. The charge depends on what you want done Do you allow pets? Two dogs is the maximum. Permission must be given. There is a nonrefundable pet fee of $250 per pet.

What a place!
This place is really, really cool. It is secluded and very private with great outdoor and indoor space and amazing views. The pool is also awesome. I would not recommend bringing children here though due to the large cliff with no barrier. The pool table and shuffle board were awesome and we really enjoyed the property. The only thing that could have been better was the tv/remote set up (get a roku or something simple like that if possible).

Excellent Weekend Getaway
Excellent hosts with great communication.
This Was exactly what we needed/was looking for. Plenty of sleeping space, kitchen was easy to cook in (two fridges in kitchen as well so plenty of storage)
Games galore! We loved the chipping/putting green during the day and transitioned right to late night pool table, shuffleboard combo in the main living room. (Bonus ping pong table in the bunkhouse just a short walk up the driveway.)
Highly recommend!

ACME ranch is a great escape for a big group. We had a group of 20 friends come to the property for labor day weekend and it was the perfect space for all of us to be together but also big enough for everyone to have some quiet peaceful moments to themselves. We spent most of our time in the pool, going for walks on the quiet roads around the property, playing games in the great room, grilling out, enjoying morning sunrise coffee, and rented a jet ski to play on the lake. This property is definitely a ranch and integrated with the surroundings so be prepared that not everything is the cleanest or working 100% but that's part of the charm. I would definitely go back!
