If you're looking for the perfect luxury beach rental on Oak Island for entertaining and enjoying the ocean breeze with family and friends, you've found it! Meant to Beach is an incredible 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom pet-friendly home with a private pool, hot tub, 4 balconies (2 oceanside and 2 poolside), a pool table,ping pong table and so much more. Plus, you can't get any closer to the Ocean Crest Pier than when you stay here — it's literally right across the street from beach access and all the amenities at the pier, like the oceanfront restaurant Island Way. Talk about the ideal location!

It was purposefully designed with a reverse floor plan to take advantage of the breathtaking ocean views from the main living area, kitchen, and dining spaces. Upon walking into this open floor plan on the top level, you'll be blown away by those views, vaulted ceilings, and high-end finishes throughout. There's an oversized sectional couch for snuggling up and watching your favorite shows on the large flatscreen TV after a beach day or exploring the island. The gorgeous kitchen has granite countertops, a tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances (including a double oven), and a spacious kitchen island with bar seating for up to 4. One of the unique features of this home is the massive dining room table that turns into a pool table with an ocean view! How cool is that?

For those who can't wait to soak up the sun and relax, you'll find numerous outdoor spaces and plenty of seating options to do just that! The private pool area is a backyard oasis offering 6 lounge chairs and a set of Adirondack chairs. You'll find two oceanside balconies to watch the sunrise and the sunset over the Atlantic with your favorite beverage in hand. Both of the two poolside balconies offer stairs leading all the way from the top floor to the ground level with the pool. The hot tub is one of our favorite spots to unwind in the evening, especially after an afternoon of golf or walking around the local sights.

Back inside, the beautiful interior design extends into the primary bedroom suite that boasts a luxurious king-size bed, a sliding door that leads to the top balcony, and upscale coastal furnishings. The ensuite bathroom offers a spa-like experience with a custom tiled shower and double vanity. The half bathroom completes this top floor.

Heading downstairs, you'll find all four guest bedrooms — one king bedroom, one queen bedroom with ocean views, another queen bedroom, and then a bunk room with a double over single and trundle. Again, please note that the photos are different from the current configuration and will be updated soon. Two sets of Jack and Jill bathrooms on this level connect two of the bedrooms together. These bathrooms feature granite countertops, double vanities, and tub/shower combinations.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 night minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. Great location and house

This home is so beautiful and the heated pool and hot tub are great. Great for pets! But def smells like pets :) incredible location with the best views. Highly recommend!!

House is amazing and right across from beach. Has all the amenities you would need. Had a couple glitches with hot tub and pool but made a call and someone came right away. Would recommend staying at this amazing house.

Luxury Home Perfect For Families

My family (husband and toddler) absolutely loved staying here. The house is beautifully decorated with extremely nice furnishings but it isn’t stuffy at all. The location is perfect, it’s on the second row but house is tall enough that you have an unobstructed view like you were ocean front. During our stay the construction guys nextdoor accidentally took out the wifi and the property manager had someone out to fix it within 20 minutes. Our only “complaint” is the towels offered weren’t size inclusive but that is easily overlooked for all of the other positives.

Our stay was Ok. Check in was great. The house was very dirty. I had to sweep the upstairs before I would let my 16 month old granddaughter on the floor. Also I don’t believe it had been mopped. There were roaches in the dishwasher and also downstairs. There was white dog hair everywhere. We brought our dog and she is not white, so it wasn’t from our dog. No sheets put on two beds in the bunk room. I had to call from them to bring sheets and they didn’t put them on. We had too. Pool was nice but my dog scared out rats every morning in the bushes by the pool. Grandkids did enjoy the pool and we liked being close to the beach. I really think I need to be refunded the cleaning service fee.

Great Location

Property is in a great location and a beautiful home. Mgmt was very responsive when we thought we may need to reschedule, but it all worked out great. Would not stay again bc we killed at least a dozen roaches/“palmetto bugs” in the kitchen over 3 days. I get it that they come out in warm weather, but it was more than just a few! They offered to come spray but we didn’t want to with small kids with us and hoping it was just a fluke. But I think they had exterminator out after we left. Just left a bad memory for sure.
