When we arrived at the “charming home” Here were our issues:Overgrown grass (very)Hot! two small window units - 1 in each bedroom unable to cool the home with both on High4 bath towels 1 hand towel 5/load of laundry/35 fine if not prepaid via Venmo or cash ap One vehicle limit (we drove 10 hours in 2 cars)Shower door very looseBedroom lights not working. lamp and ac on extension cord Bed and couch very uncomfortable Smell of sewer! one block from the sewer treatment plant. Poorly stocked kitchen - no way to cook with the pots and pans/other kitchen items - we did not expect new or high end but expected functional We booked 7 nights 4 adults. We rented VRBO for cooking, laundry, comfort of larger space We contacted our host. She was very nice and understanding. She allowed us to park the two vehicles and sent maintenance to check the lights - unable to fix and waived the laundry fee (no laundry supplies were provided, unsure what the fee was for)We left after 4 days. This would be “ok” for one night stay but not 7!!We would not have rented if the car limit and laundry fees had been disclosed during booking. We definitely would not book again with the condition of the home. When I contacted our host about leaving 3 nights early and why she said she understood comfort was important. The good: Nobelsville has a charming historic square and is close to shopping and restaurants. I’m not one to publicly complain, but I feel duped!
