Absolutely gorgeous! The cottage was literally nestled among tall picturesque trees in a cozy neighborhood. The home was immaculate. The bedding was heavenly soft. The kitchen was stocked for our cooking needs. The shared living area was spacious to hang out. We were very comfortable in the home and it was important since we were dropping our baby off to Western Washington University. We were close to the malls, eateries, and adventures. I appreciated that the home was near to the college but not in the middle of town and traffic. Mahalo for allowing us to share your space!

This was a GREAT hang out for four over-70 buddies who've been taking short golf trips for years. The place was immaculate and comfortable. We enjoy going out for dinner, so the only downside was that it was a long (beautiful) drive into Bellingham.

Family reunion

We enjoyed our stay very much at the cottage, it was perfect for our multi generational family. It was exactly as advertised and the most stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in, We got spoiled cooking on the amazing gas stove! The cottage is about 20-25 min to Fairhaven historic district/Western WA and only 15 min to whatcom falls park, gorgeous this time of year! We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back! Thank you! The Grays

Beautiful Property

This home was just perfect. Location was great, it was spotlessly clean, well appointed, 3 King size beds that were really comfortable, perfect for multiple families or a group of adult couples. No couple had to squish into a smaller bed. We will definitely rent this property again. The owner was also very helpful during the booking process when I had some difficulties with an incorrect email address aligned to the booking. Overall great experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We all loved the way it was so retro decorated. Clean and comfortable, well stocked kitchen. They had toys and books for small children. My granddaughter loved the bunkbeds. We golfed and swam in the lake. It needs a barbecue that does not need croquet's. We would stay here again.

Nice, Comfortable home

The house was were nice, tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the large porch - great for family time. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Lovely Place in the Woods

The house is well decorated. The kitchen has everything you need to make a lovely meal. The rooms are furnished tastefully. The washer and dryer are great. It was a wonderful 2 day stay which I wished could have been longer.

Washington get away

Beautiful neighbor. The cottage was well equipped and included everything we need to make our stay enjoyable . Only criticism is that there iare no dressers or shelves in the closet so you can.unpack your bags.

My husband and I recently stayed at this amazing home whilst visiting our family in the Sudden Valley community. What a fantastic home - all the amenities one would need, beautifully decorated, extremely clean and indeed "cozy". We hope to stay there again!

We enjoy hosting friends, both new and old. We also enjoy many outdoor activities, but at the end of the day want to sleep in comfort. The interior of this cottage was carefully designed for comfort and style. No one has to fight over who gets the big king-sized bed because all the bedrooms (except the bunk room) have king beds. Spread out in the two living rooms, or hang out all together in the open kitchen/dining/lounge space.

Located just outside of the city of Bellingham, and close to many recreational opportunities, this cottage is ideally located for outdoor adventures. North Cascades National Park, Mt. Baker Ski Resort, Lake Whatcom, Sudden Valley Golf Course, Galbraith, Chuchanut Mt. bike trails, Bellingham water front, San Juan Islands, Vancouver, BC, Skagit Valley Tulip Festival are all within an easy day-trip, or closer.
