This stunning 2-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath condo offers the best of both worlds... direct beach access to the sugar-sand Emerald Coast AND all of the recreational amenities for a fabulous water adventure at Waterscape resort.

This freshly updated condo comfortably sleeps eight with two king-size master suites, a bunk area, and queen-sized sleeper sofa. But who wants to spend time indoors when the ocean is calling off of your balcony and you have full usage of the pools, lazy river, splash ponds, fitness area, and lounging areas through the large ocean-front complex?!

This condo features a newly remodeled kitchen (white shaker cabinets, new granite and stunning glass backsplash). It also offers care-free tile throughout (with new faux-wood tile in the bedrooms) and a spacious new dining set that comfortably accommodates six. Each master suite has direct access to the large patio and private baths. There's also a guest bath in the main living area, which features a new whimsical glass mosaic accent wall.

The kitchen is stocked with all of the necessities for cooking - plus there's a washer-dryer in the pantry area for beach towels or mid-stay laundry to keep up with a busy family.

The location is ideal for families because children could not walk out of the balcony to the pools, yet grownups will be able to see most of the common swimming areas. That's peace of mind! Also, you can stay on this same floor to walk from the parking garage or out towards the recreational area -- handy for strollers, rolling coolers, or wagons.

The Waterscape resort worked well for the kids. Very family friendly. Nearby restaurants were great. The tiki food bar at the resort closed on Thursday after being open for 2 hrs. It rained in the morning but stopped at noon and never rained again. Several families brought their food down to pool area The condo we stayed in was under par to other vacation rentals we’ve stayed in for the last 20 years. Does no one cook on vacation? We couldn’t have cooked a decent meal there. Limited pots and pans. Literally 2 small frying pans. Hand can opener did not work and there wasn’t an electric one. Couldn’t even open a can of rotel for cheese dip. No coffee pot for the coffee maker. Low water stream in both showers. One shower door won’t shut properly and apparently has been that way since 2024 in a different review. The garbage chute wasn’t working so garbage was piled up in the hallway. We weren’t in the ocean much, never been to an area with so much seaweed.

Best Escape to Waterscape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One rental was perfect for a group of four adults and 3 kids. We loved the view of the ocean and pools from our unit. The access to the pools was easy from our rental. We loved the communication through text and the site that helped navigate our first time stay. There is lots to do for kiddos and having three pools with a Tiki Bar to visit when needed was a plus!!! The activities for kids were great and we all loved the Glow Party. Being able to walk to lots of great eats was amazing. We will definitely be back as it was a favorite vacation!

The rental is a perfect location with afternoon sun on the balcony (which is important in the "winter" months). It also has a nice view of the Gulf of Mexico, the lazy river and the beautiful palm trees. The rental was nice and clean when we got there, they do a great job with cleanings between rentals. Legacy-Vacations has been great to work with. They are quick to respond if we reached out to them, and they also kept us updated on site wide alerts, like maintenance items that affect the entire property.

The heated pool was very helpful because our twin boys do not like cold water.That would be the only thing the heated pool would be nicer if it was alittle warmer since we came in Oct. and had some cool days. Hope to be back in 2025.

Wonderful stay

This was our first time staying in the Fort Walton area. The condo was close enough to restaurants & shopping. The amenities were perfect for our 3 year old. We all loved the lazy river! The staff really works hard every morning to make the pool area & grills clean for everyone. I have nothing bad to say at all. We will most likely be back!

Beautiful room, Beautiful sandy beaches, excellent pools, lazy river and hot tubs. Only issue with entire stay was shower door in master bathroom needs to be adjusted. Fantastic week i will return to this location.

Secure your beach chairs as soon as you get there- they’ll put your room number on the chairs. The room does have a hair dryer, and Keurig. You get 2 hand towels, dish sponge, small dish soap, 2 dishwasher tabs, big trash refills. Very spacious! Great Location & Balcony.

Each morning, we had our coffee out on the patio watching the ocean. So peaceful. The condo was beautiful, clean, and very accommodating (cooking, towels, access to the beach/pool). And the grounds were cleaned every morning before the day began. I've rented homes/condos many times and this condo was true to its description. I will comment that we had an issue upon arrival (which was completely my fault) and the owner/manager responded immediately to resolve my problem. I certainly didn't get that kind of quick response from other rentals! I would highly recommend this rental in this resort. It is a paradise!

Okaloosa Island fun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Waterscapes A206 this past winter. This was our third stay at Waterscapes, and by far our favorite condo. The location is perfect, overlooking the lazy river and yet a pretty angled view of the Gulf of Mexico. The Waterscapes property in general is very nice with the palm trees and zero entry pools, rock grotto waterfall, well kept sidewalks and gates. Unit A206 is nicely decorated and has good polywood furniture in the balcony. The unit is a short walk to the beach, and also to the street where you can find a restaurant/bar, ice cream/mini golf, Stewby's Seafood Shanty, and a gas station/minimart for provisions. We will definitely stay at Waterscapes and Unit A206 again!

The view from our balcony was amazing, overlooking the lazy river but able to see over the gulf as well. The condo was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. We’ve stayed on Okaloosa Island a dozen times, but this was the first at Waterscape. We’ve already booked for the same unit in 2024. The owners and management are wonderful people and we highly recommend them. Definitely our happy place. ❤️

Nice Place...Pools for Kids

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The facility was nice. Covered parking with lots of spaces. Clean facility and condo. Were informed while we were traveling that the ice maker was not working and it would be taken care of. Two repair people came on Monday but did not fix it. We had to purchase ice several times during the week. If you have children, this is a great option due to the pools!! If you're looking for relaxed and quiet, not going to happen here. LOTS of children making LOTS of noise as young ones are prone to do. Overall, a good week.
