(8) of us stayed here in October for our annual cousins trip. It was spacious and well equipped, perfect for our group of ladies. And the ocean view and beach access was incredible. I would highly recommend.

Gorgeous view and great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all of the equipment you could ask for and the appliances were all modernized. The bedrooms were all good size we liked that the living room and the kitchen both had tvs as we all watched some shows together throughout the week taking a break from the beach. Being beachfront is the real star of the show for this house - the view is amazing, day and night(!) - and the access to the beach and the ocean is perfect. It is definitely walkable to the shops and restaurants in Isle of Palms, which the kids loved. Plenty of parking, and very close to the rental office, which made signing in and dropping the keys off easy.

All about the location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unbelievable location. Absolutely magical. Home could use updates (primarily bathroom in particular) and the kitchen desperately needs new cookware, there was not one usable pan in the home. That said, these are minor notes. We had an incredibly beautiful and memorable stay!

Super location and home

The location is convenient for downtown to enjoy shops, restaurants, live music and biking. The home has beautiful beach views and everything you want for a vacation.

October perfection

We had a wonderful three night-stay. The beach access was fantastic, and the house was clean and well-furnished. No complaints whatsoever and we would happily return.

Family came to Charleston to see our daughter receive her masters degree from C of C. Great weekend on IOP. Perfect location and the view was amazing.

The property is in a beautiful location, which unfortunately made the condition of the house even more disappointing. During our August stay, the central air conditioning serving the second-floor master bedroom and three first-floor bedrooms on the west side of the house was not working.For a home of this size, the owner's solution was to provide room fans and a single small window air-conditioning unit. This was nowhere near adequate for an enormous house during the heat of August. Several of our guests were unable to comfortably sleep in their bedrooms and were forced to sleep on couches in the living room instead.For the price and expectations associated with a property of this size, we expected a functioning central air-conditioning system—or, at minimum, an appropriate temporary cooling solution until repairs could be made. What was provided was simply inadequate.

We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially during the hottest summer week on record. Many of our HVAC systems were unable to keep up with the excessive temperatures with the HVAC company out and saying such. We also regret that our follow-up fell short of your expectations. Guest comfort is very important to us, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We’re sorry that this issue detracted from your stay and appreciate your feedback as we work to improve the experience we provide our guests.

Not good for anyone who is sensitive to mold

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was amazing and the size of the house was perfect but there is a lot of water damage in the house which means there is most definitely mold. We were kind of shocked at how much water damage we saw in the house and several of us woke up feeling sick in the morning and then would feel so much better once we were outside. I know there is a lot of moisture because the house is on the beach, but there are precautions that could be taken like dehumidifiers. I would especially check the back storage area on the top floor. It looks like there’s black mold all over the ceiling in there.

Meghan, We are sorry you felt the home had water damage but are glad you enjoyed your stay and the location! This home has not had water damage issues since it's remodel a few years back. The HVAC trunks do sweat heavily but that is in the open garage and affects all South Carolina coastal homes. The storage area, the attic, does not have black mold, however, I am sure it is dusty in there as it is just as you stated- a storage closet. We will ask the cleaning company to tend to this attic/ closet area during the fall deep clean, thank you for letting us know it needs tended too.
