Family Beach Getaway

House was as advertised and provided great access to the beach. Property Management was very responsive to a few needs. Wild Dunes was, as always, a fabulous location.

Great Vacation

Comfortable house with open space allowing for easy interaction and socializing. Kitchen is well stocked with plates and utensils. Easy walk to the beach.

Great Stay

We loved the property & the location. The home’s floor plan was awesome too We had a group of 7 women & 6 baths plus a big kitchen & great room along with the balconies worked out great for us.

A wonderful place to stay!!

Host was very quick with responding to our questions before and after we checked in. Getting into the house was very easy. The interior of the house was very clean. The bag of toiletries was a wonderful touch. The kitchen is very well appointed. It is a very short walk to the beach, which was wonderful! We enjoyed sitting on the back deck off the living room. The decks and furniture do need a good cleaning.

Excellent locztion

The property has an excellent location in the Wild Dunes complex with views of the ocean from two decks and within easy walking distance. Tastefully furnished, it was exactly as advertised.

Great place

This place was an amazing find for our Christmas vacation. It is less than a minute walk to the beach and in a great location. The house was clean and exactly as described. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook all of our meals and the bedrooms had plenty of pillows and blankets. It was a great stay!

Girls beach weekend

Beautiful home with so much room! Perfect location - right next beach. Kitchen well stocked, beds super comfortable and great parking! Would love an umbrella for top deck off Master - beautiful view but very hot in the afternoon sun!

Close to beach for girls weekend

House is quiet and just three doors down from the beach access. Our group of six loved each having our own bedroom and bathroom. Decor and carpet was a little dated, but furnishings were comfortable and management company was very responsive when needed. Very pleasant stay!

Great property with everything you need!

Great 6br/6ba house close to the beach. Kitchen has everything! We had bad weather for one day and we played card games and board games and had a blast! Our ladies group were sad to leave.

Big Groups Will Love This!

This was a great place for a big group! It was awesome having as many bathrooms as bedrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable. A few things could be updated, but overall we had a wonderful stay. And having the beach so close was a dream!

great house!

This is a great house in a fantastic spot. The only issue is the construction on the building next door. It's a big condo building and it's a lot of work, so they start early each morning and it lasts all day. But the house is big, comfortable, and decorated very well.

Fantastic location

This is a very nice home in a fantastic location. It’s a very short walk to the beach which makes those morning strolls and lunch time returns very easy and convenient. The home was spotless. My only complaint is that they don’t provide any cleaning supplies so those of us who like to cook had a tough time cleaning the countertops and cooktop, but that certainly wouldn’t stop me from booking this place again.

Battle of Bricks trip

Perfect Extended Family Stay!

We had a wonderful time at the house with my sister’s family, my family and mg parents. Each bedroom having its own bath is an amazing find in a rental home. A great bonus for a family who loves to cook was the well appointed kitchen with all the pots/pans/actually sharp knives and more! The beach was gorgeous and easy to get to and haul all our stuff with the rented wagon referred to by the house’s management. Speaking of, they were so helpful, responsive, and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Family Easter Vacation

Briefly , all was good. Excellent communication w Deserving Vacations. House suited us well, loved 6 BR, 6 Baths . Only negative was that despite being prominently displayed in pictures, the property doesn’t have actual access to a pool. There are ways to get in, but unofficial. Construction was a bit noisy at times but not too bad. Good house , good communication, I’d recommend this property for a family vacation for sure.

Great location

The location of the house was very convenient and the property management company was very responsive. The appliances are old and the house is not in the best condition but it was fine for 8 adults and 4 children. We have stayed at other VRBOs and paid less for much more. Most of the beds have foam mattresses which we did not like, the oven temp is off and the ice maker doesn’t work very well. It was fine I just think it is way over priced for what you get and for the week we rented.

VMI Citadel

This is a great location and house to rent for a large group of people. The house is well stocked with large pots and pans for cooking. The layout is also great. Lots of space to gather and laugh. There were plenty of towels to shower with which was nice. The property manager was always quick to respond. For guests coming in the next year or so is a large construction project is going on Right across the pool area. It is a hotel being renovated. They started very early on Friday and Saturday. Sitting on the deck was so loud. The house was clean so to clarify the 4 stars was because the caulking in the showers needs to be redone. Black mold has formed in it. The carpet on the stairs was very old and stained.

The "Proud" Stroud Family

There were some areasboth positive and not so positive that needed to be addressed: 1. The carpet in the upstairs hallway needs to be tapered down- my sister tripped, but didn't fall; 2. The glass table needs to be cleaned on top and up under; 3. The chandelier needs to be cleaned; 4. Handicap assessibility in downstairs area; 5. Replace the carpet; 6. The entire unit needs a THOROUGH cleaning and some upgrades for the price... 7. Because it rained, the outside front stairs were slippery and could possibly use the rubber protectors; 8. Safety/ grab bars in the shower and update the shower fixtures- One shower head fell off in the downstairs bathroom; 9. Mattresses in twin rooms need to be upgraded- the one downstairs (the one closest to the door) is not stable; 10. The house was spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay...
