Once known as Hill’s Dairy, this 100-year-old building has been converted into four boutique rental suites: Hike, Bike, Ski, and Paddle. The Bike Suite is a pet-friendly unit and is located on the ground floor: ideal for easy access with luggage, gear, or pups.

★ 🚗 PARKING – FREE & PAID OPTIONS ★
You now have two options for parking when you stay in the Bike Suite:
1) Optional Reserved Parking – $15/night - Guests in the Bike Suite can choose to reserve a dedicated parking spot across the street: Spot #1 at 13 Sykes St S (private lot) for $15/night, subject to availability - Great if you want the peace of mind of having a guaranteed spot, especially in busy or winter months. - If you’d like to add this to your stay, just let us know after booking.
2) Free Parking - Meaford offers free street parking and free municipal parking lots nearby: - Public lot across the street (except during winter overnight restrictions) - Street parking on surrounding roads
Winter Parking (Nov 15 – Apr 1) - During the winter, Meaford has overnight parking restrictions for snow removal: - From 2:00am–6:00am, overnight parking is only allowed in Market Square, located at 12 Nelson Street East (about a 3-minute walk away). - The lot has two rows marked ODD and EVEN based on the calendar date. Please follow the signs carefully to avoid tickets. - Reserved parking in our paid spot at 13 Sykes St S is the easiest way to avoid the winter parking shuffle, but the free options remain available if you prefer.

You’ll have access to the entire Bike Suite: ✔ Bedroom ✔ Bathroom ✔ Kitchen ✔ Dining & living area
The entrance stairwell is shared with other Hills suites, but your unit is fully private. - Self check-in with a smart lock - You’ll receive detailed check-in instructions and a digital guidebook before arrival

All units at Hills are managed by Kylie. She travels throughout Southern Ontario and isn’t always on-site, but:
✔ Available via VRBO/booking messaging ✔ Quick to respond and happy to help ✔ Occasionally, a team member may be in the shop to assist

★ OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ★ - Linens & towels provided (please bring your own beach towels) - Baseboard heating & wall AC unit - No smoking or vaping indoors - Quiet hours: 11pm–8am (100-year-old building; sound travels) - Minut noise/comfort sensor in use (monitors noise level, temperature, humidity, and occupancy patterns, but does not record audio)

** 🚭 Smoking ** - No smoking or vaping indoors. - If smoking outdoors, please do so across the street, away from entrances and the coffee shop. - Dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
** ✨ Suite Etiquette ** - Hills is a no-shoes building - please remove shoes upon entering your suite. - Lock the door whenever you leave the unit. - Turn off lights when not in use - let’s be energy conscious together!

We had a quick stay, but it is a beautiful property very clean well style feels very cozy. The bed was so comfortable. I wanted to take it with me. I will stay here every time. I’m in Medford. The coffee shop downstairs has the best flat White I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect fall getaway
I wanted to find somewhere with access to trails so I could spend some time with my ailing dog. Hills fit the bill - Meaford was perfect - all of the pretty without the crowds. The apartment was quiet, clean, beautifully maintained and extremely well equipped. No issues parking. We hit trails in every direction and enjoyed the fall colours. It was a memorable week.

It was like a small 1 bedroom apartment with a washer and dryer. Very nice on the inside but in the winter months no overnight parking. Had to take the car about a 5 min walkbfrom apartment.

The Hills
The property was perfect. Just like the pictures. The little extras were very nice. I loved the bar soap, and I'm a man, haha. Nice little touches. Cute little coffee shop in the front that also sells beer. I think it has infloor heating as I didn't see any vents or heaters which was amazing. Warm to your feet. I would definitely stay there again.
