Woodski Winter Haven: Mountain Cottage Near Skiing

This private mountain retreat is just 15 minutes from Blue Mountain, features 3.2 acres of beautiful scenery, a swimming pool and a renovated home for 10 guests (Max 8 adults).

The house sits at the foot of a private 500ft mountain that is yours to explore all year around. Inside, there is a spacious home built for entertainment.

Enjoy all-year fun at the property or head out to enjoy the amazing activities nearby. Only 5 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to the best skiing in Ontario!

THE COTTAGE:

Our newly renovated cottage features a large living space with open concept kitchen, dining and entertainment. On this space you will find a super comfortable seating area by the fireplace and a 65` smart TV (w/ PlayStation4 + 10 games).

The kitchen has major upgrades including a premium gas range, large fridge, dishwasher, 10-cup coffee maker, kettle, and more. Kitchen essentials included along with coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper and oil.

Two of the bedrooms are located on the main floor. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a desk (workstation), and the other bedroom has a queen bed with a beautiful view of the mountain. Upstairs there is a large open concept space with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds (w/ second smart TV). The upstairs features a second desk with chair.

The main bathroom features a walk-in shower, beautiful spa feel and heated floors to keep your feet toasty in the winter. The second bathroom (toilet & sink only) is located in the basement.

In the entrance of the cottage you will find a massive mudroom to unpack and store all your winter gear. This includes dedicated space for skiis and Snowboards.

The cottage is equipped with WIFI, smart lights that can be controlled through an Alexa Amazon Echo and 2 smart TVs. Linens, pillows and indoor towels are provided.


OUTDOORS:

The cottage sits on 3+ acres of property at the foot of a 500ft hill. You can enjoy the large swimming pool with lounge area, a running creek (mostly dry in summer), steep and beautiful hills, and a large front and backyard area.

SECURITY: The cottage is situated in a rural area and has a creek running right next to it. To watch for storm damage and keep the property safe, we have security cameras in the exterior of the house. This includes 4 cameras pointing to each side of the yard, and 1 camera at the entrance.

You have access to the entire house and the outdoors with the only exception being the garage.

However, should you need any help, we are available to help on the phone or send someone to the house if needed.
* The home can host a maximum of 8 adults and a total of 10 guests.

* No parties are allowed on this property. All guests must register with Airbnb in order to enter the home. Failure to register guests may result in immediate removal of all guests and cancellation without a refund.

* If the number of guests at the property exceeds the number of guests listed in the booking, a fee of $200 per night per unregistered guest will be charged.

* Residents who are locals (or within 30km) from the home are not permitted to book this property.

* Guests agree to follow local by-laws (including noise restrictions)

* Smoking is not allowed on the property. A $200/day fee will be charged if there are signs or smell of smoke

* No access to the swimming pool area when locked for the Fall and Winter.

* Maximum of 2 dogs allowed on the property for an extra pet fee. Bookings with pets require a pre-approval before booking. Send us an inquiry with the details of your breed. Dogs must be hypoallergenic or low shedding. Not cats are allowed. There is a $500 fee for any NON-approved pet on the property.

* The basement is only accessible for the use of the 2nd bathroom and washer/dryer. It is not to be used as living or entertainment space.

* This cottage has a septic system. It is very important that only toilet paper be thrown in the toilet. Flushable wipes and hygene products can seriously damage the sewage system.

* Guests must clean all the dishes before check-out. A $50-125 cleaning fee will apply for dishes left on the sink.

* Guests shall not remove or re-key any locks on the cottage.

* No eating or drinking allowed in the bedrooms

* Remove shoes when entering the home

* Guests agree to pay for damages exceeding the deposit

* Garbage shall be disposed with the bags provided and placed in the bins in the garage (if stay is longer than 7 days please follow the instructions provided upon check-in)

* Damaged or stained linens/towels will incur a charge of $20 per damaged item.

* Guests acknowledge that the property sits on 3+ acres of wildernesses which includes a large hill that is not maintained. This also includes a small creek with running water. Use at your own risk.
