Ruth’s Cottage is located in the heart of historic downtown. This is where South Florida charm and tradition blends with the comforts of modern luxury. All of Delray is within your reach, but, you’ll find it’s difficult to leave the comforts of this home for long. This is the finest neighborhood in classic Delray Beach. Rich in both history and amenities, Ruth’s is the ultimate Delray experience.

Ruth’s is family-friendly. You’ll have access to games, pool toys, play pens and highchairs if needed. The washer and dryer in the laundry room are brand new – but the basketball hoop in the pool has seen many, many championship battles!

The uncommon pleasure of this secluded paradise is located in the middle of the simple chic that is Delray Beach. Buttoned down luxury is extended throughout an expansive floor plan. Our remodeled kitchen, family room and patio provide an opportunity to gather and enjoy this paradise together. And, the three bedrooms, living room and dining area provide seclusion and privacy as needed for quiet times during your stay. The jewel of the property is a heated, 20’x 30’ walk-in pool surrounded by a tropical garden.

This house is located North of Atlantic Avenue and East of Lake Ida with easy access to highways, attractions and downtown Delray Beach, a popular, award-winning beach town.

The main street in Delray Beach is Atlantic Avenue, and it spans all the way down to a pristine beach. The ‘Ave’ is popular for visitors and locals thanks to the many art galleries, upscale shops, fine restaurants and nightly entertainment. Seasonal events for the downtown area feature Delray Beach Fashion Week, Savor the Avenue, the Delray Affair and the annual 100-foot Christmas tree.

Delray Beach is located between Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale Florida, and it’s the ideal destination for a vacation with your friends and family any time of year. It’s a pristine haven and one of the most popular beaches in Palm Beach County, Florida. Steve the owner has done an incredible job making this house absolutely perfect. Everything you need is there and carefully labeled so you know how everything works. Top notch experience

Spectacular house that’s cozy with a stunning pool backyard and lush landscaping. I would stay here over and over again. It’s remodeled to a tee with all the amenities you could hope for. Everything about this property is 10 out of 10. Steve was great to work with in booking the house. Cheers.

An Oasis

The Cottage was actually better in person than on line. The house is completely stocked and set up for your every need. From new bed linens/ towels/ beach gear/ bikes. I can’t think of one thing that I would suggest to make this listing better. The backyard/ pool setting is a true oasis that we are already missing. We spent two delightful weeks here! Highly recommend this spot!

Backyard Oasis!

The location was literally 5 min to anything we did but we stayed in the backyard and in the pool most of our 2 weeks in Delray Beach. It was like a tropical oasis. The amenities were top notch, the place was spotless and adorably decorated. We wish we could have stayed longer!

A gorgeous, clean stay!

Steve's home was amazing! The layout was perfect, the kitchen stocked, and it was very CLEAN! We love the Lake Ida are of Delray as it is quiet, walkable, yet accessible to downtown. The backyard was so serene and the perfect size, and we hope to stay again!

Stayed at this gorgeous house with beautiful accommodations. Had everything needed to have Thanksgiving dinner. Neighborhood was beautiful and close to everything. Will be sure to get back.

Picture perfect

The only downside was the hot, humid weather. The house is stunning along with the saltwater pool. We spent the majority of our time in the backyard grilling and swimming. I would highly recommend this house and the host.

Fabulous time at Ruth’s Cottage in Delray Beach

My husband and I had a fabulous month at Ruth’s Cottage. We can’t say enough about the house and its owners. Steve and Reesa have provided a house with all you could possibly need — an abundance of quality towels, nice furnishings and a beautiful backyard and pool — besides many other amenities. We didn’t need to ask for anything because they already thought of everything! Thank you Steve and Reesa — we hope to be back again next year. Chris and Bob (and Lucy too)

Beautiful home

There were 6 of us in our party and the property accommodated us all very comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, all the appliances seemed brand new! The pool and outside patio were a highlight for all. Highly recommend!

Ruth, our namesake, had a tradition of hosting new and old friends since 1955. That’s when she opened her first cottage in Smallwood NY. “Ruth’s Bungalows” was born and eventually grew into a 15 cottage family-run business. For Ruth, family always came first. She enjoyed an extensive family with three children and five grandchildren.

We’ve done our best to portray in this house Ruth’s passion for cooking, comfort and caring for others.
