Ubicado en Palm Island Resort en la costa suroeste del golfo de Florida. No existen puentes o calzadas a la isla, lo que garantiza un ambiente de vacaciones tropicales relajado.
El resort de la isla abarca una porción de dos millas de playas prístinas y privadas en el extremo norte de Palm Island.

Another great stay!!

Great Stay!

Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, llegada y ubicación

Wasn’t warned about no pools, all of them were not available!

Beautiful place, nicely furnished, no ice maker! Inquire if the pools are all fixed or not, I’m hoping for some type of refund! Additionally, none of the grills outside were connected either. I’ve been going there for almost 40 years so I was expecting the availability of the pools and a grill. Multiple outlets didn’t work, nor did the TVs in the bedrooms. It is a beautiful place though, and I certainly will be back.

Great view - Disappointing Interior

Hopefully the owners will recognize that compared to others in the rental program, they need new furniture (sink holes where people have sat on the couch); carpeting needs to be replaced; Dining room needs a light over the table; kitchen is in sore need of an update to "everything" from appliances to supplies.

Palm Island Resort 2 week stay in Beach Villa.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the fourth time we have vacationed at Palm Island Resort. We enjoy the secluded beautiful beaches and great views of the sunsets. The grounds of the Resort are beautiful and well maintained. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the condition of the Beach Villa that we paid a lot of money to rent was not up to the standard we have come to expect. The appliances were old and 2 of the burners on the stove didn’t work. The furniture was old and needs to be upgraded. The television in the main room was very small by today’s standards and the picture quality was poor. The carpet was torn and dirty. The whole condo needs to be painted. I would not recommend this villa without a very serious upgrade regarding the above issues.

A Bit Let Down

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great--beach view, wonderful beach, good fishing, exceptional shelling, NO traffic. The condo was a little run down. Paint job in bathrooms was amateurish at best (splashes of white paint on green background). Paint chipping in living room. The blinds in master bedroom has a missing handle so it was difficult to open/close; the curtains were not hung correctly. Shower head was cheap. Porch furniture was functional but worn. Same for second bedroom. Additional sheets and pillowcases were on floor.In general it looked liked the owners did not care about the place (or maybe the caretakers they hired didn't care). It was like there was no quality control. The furniture looked like it came from Goodwill--functional at best. A TV Remote Control was missing the battery cover. Most things had an outdated look. There were peanuts (?) in the living room rug; so it was not vacuumed, or vacuumed badly. Wallpaper was peeling in spots.Taken individually, these items would not lead to this low rating. But taken a whole, the condo did not live up to expectations of the advertised "De Luxe" rental and did not warrant the price charged.

As it was our 40th wedding anniversary, we enjoyed the privacy. We expected peace and solitude. Unfortunately what we got was construction going on from 0800 to 1800 hours everyday. We couldn’t sleep in or even stay in the condo during the day as there was loud hammering and sawing coming from the neighboring condo. It was so loud we could watch tv or even hold a conversation at times. This made the stay less than relaxing.

Memorial Day Holiday

We were surprised as we have lived here for 15 years and have never heard of it. Boy were we shocked! We had the best time!!! Talk about the best place to go and unwind. We didn't want to leave. Our family was there, so we had all we wanted. We cooked and grilled didn't have to leave the island. Beach, pool, kayak and a little kite flying for our grandson. We have already reserved our spot for next year. So happy to have found Palm Island!

Our first Resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I had been staying in motels one at a time while we drove down the Gulf Coast. They were getting more and more expensive as we got further south. I was afraid a Resort would be too expensive and too cruise-like. I found Palm Island Resort on trip advisor and decided to try it for 1 night. We loved it, and stayed 3 nights. The office was very accommodating. We loved the quiet, the lack of cars, and the real feeling of security there. We left because we had rented a house for the President's Week and were being joined by our children and grandchildren. That week is almost over, and we're going to try to return to Palm Island for a few days before we explore the Keys and then return home to the COLD!! Next year we're going to plan a longer stay on Palm Island.

Relax and Forget your worries

We played tennis, bike ride. It was great because you didn't have to worry about finding a seat at the pool. The restaurant has the best food and prices are ok.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Liked the co-op with IPFW internship program. Had a grerat time with naturalist Chris. Beach villa was spotless and fully equipped. Our only issue was the fact that we had to go up to 500 ft. from the unit in order to get wi-fi. We understand that the resort is working to resolve that.

It is a beautiful, quaint island that allows you to fully relax and breathe. The staff are very kind and helpful at the front desk and restaurant. There is only one restaurant and one ice cream shop which allows you to not worry about where to go for dinner, etc. A few of the staff in the ice cream shop (Coconuts) are not the most friendly but that is a minor issue compared to all that this wonderful getaway offers.

A Confused Beach Villa Unit

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing at P. I. for 15 consecutive years. This unit had the most comfortable master bedroom and living room. Unfortunately the master bath was similar to a cheap roadside hotel, the kitchen was outdated with paint peeling on microwave and donated utensils, and the guest room beds were designed for small children not for adults. Additionally, the guest bathroom was far superior to the master bath and the whole unit seemed to have been painted by a first time painter.
