Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience was awesome. Loved that the condo was right on the water. Was so easy to go in and out with the kids when the baby needed to nap. So many stores close by for groceries and dinners and shopping. The unit itself was clean and well maintained. Everything worked fine. The only complaint I had was the beds on the second bedroom were sooo uncomfortable. My ribs actually hurt from sleeping on them. But we all had an awesome time.

Reviewer Comments: It’s a little ridiculous that when you rent from you guys knowing that I’ve been there six out of the last seven years and you don’t contact me first and ask me if I want my room next year and you give it to somebody else is a bunch of **** I can assure you I will never be back at your place. This is the second time you have done this to me absolutely ridiculous.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Beach Cottage property several times and have always had a great vacation. The location is great! The condo unit needs an upgrade as it has broken furniture, broken cupboard doors, clunky blinds, a broken kettle with a note on it indicating it is broken, ants in the bathroom and a mattress protector made of hard plastic. As said, great location, the condo unit needs some attention to bring it back up to the Beach Cottage standard.

Reviewer Comments: The apt. was excellent for us (3),great location,on the beach, only grumble is that with the unit being on the beach, I think that beach chairs and an umbrella should be included in the rental, we flew from Europe so not feasible to bring our own equipment and I don`t think that we should have to purchase them to just leave behind, they should be part of the units inventory and charged to renter if missing on departure,it is a small point but very important,would I stay again? Yes

Nice place to stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On the whole the property was nice & clean. However was lacking in what was provided. We have stayed in many different places on the gulf of Fla. All provided such items as salt & pepper, beach towels, chairs & umbrellas. Plenty of toilet paper and tissue. Nobody wants to buy these items only to have to leave them there. For the price to stay, such items should be provided. Coffee filters and sugar would be nice too. Otherwise, we enjoyed the view and our stay but probably would not stay there again.

Worked perfect for what we needed. Not super fancy but that's ok. Condo has some updates but still has some older stuff throughout. Was very roomy.

Beach Cottages are GREAT!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great! Cathy was fantastic to work with. thank you, Cathy! The unit has GREAT space and we were not cramped at all. The guest tub was clogged but it was fixed right away. The location to the pool and the beach was FANTASTIC. I appreciated the extra clean off area after the beach too. The need for keys to get OUT of the building to the beach was a little odd, but we made it work. I understand it's for safety but still a little bit of a pain. The pool, hot tub and grills are GREAT too. Was a bit unclear how to use them but people were nice enough to explain how to turn them on. Thank you for a great vacation. We would love to use the unit again another time. :) (Perhaps a little update with your cleaning crew though on the unit. For the price we paid per night, the unit should have been spotless but it was sufficient).

One Month Stay Feb-Mar 2021

This condo was very clean and comfortable. The pictures inside the unit are very recently taken. The condo was freshly painted with new flooring in the kitchen and main area and new living room furniture which was all very nice. The rest of the unit is comfortable though the bathrooms and mattresses could use updating as well. Parking was protected and convenient. There are multiple restaurants up and down Gulf Blvd. although the kitchen is spacious and well stocked with dishes and pots and pans for meal prep. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the deck every morning and the angled view of the Gulf. We enjoyed the pool deck area which had plenty of loungers available and community grills we used several times. The beach was very clean and nice, and we loved daily walks along the beach, sunbathing, and watching the beautiful sunsets! We were sad to leave and would stay here again!

Beautiful Condo - incredible beach

This condo was very clean and accommodating. The Kitchen was fully stock with dishes/pans etc. that we needed to cook. The view was of the Bird Sanctuary and a partial view of the ocean. The pool was heated and the hot tub was wonderful. It was under repair the last two days we were there. Our only complaint was the check-in process. We arrived at 2:00 a.m. because of flight delays so we had to search through emails and google searches to find the property manager's number and the address where we had to pick up our keys. Everything else was wonderful . We would stay here again!

Beach cottages 2020

The place was pretty nice. Kitchen cabinets and chairs to the dinning set in the living room had mold. It appeared the place hadn't been rented in a while and that was the problem. I wiped the cabinets and chairs off and they stayed free of mold. Other then that the place was clean and roomy.

The people I were with were upset that you need keys to get into everything, however, I looked at it as a safety feature. We only had one set of keys which made things a little difficult for leaving the beach to go to the room. There were plenty of plates to feed an army. The dishwasher however is a little outdated and is only really good for cleaning glasses. It would not clean any of the plates and they had to be hand washed. I also loved working with Florida Lifestyle Vacations. Their office is just down the road from the property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my third year spending January at the Beach Cottages, and the weather was great this year. I was actually "bumped" by owners of my original rental, late November, but was transferred to 1402 by Florida Lifestyles. The rental was clean, well-maintained, and the view was a panorama of sunrise and the beautiful Gulf, along with the Bird Sanctuary. I love this side of the cottages. Our favorite restaurant is the Conche, but also enjoyed LouLou's (think that is the name.) I would highly recommend Florida Lifestyles and these condos. Fabulous care and security.

We have four small children and we abosolutely love the location. However, after of only being in the condo for two hours the tenant that lived below us came up banging on our door. He asked us if we could not wear shoes in the condo and not to bounce the balls on the floor because it echoed into his condo. We apologized and said we understand he informed us everytime a guest stays there he has to let them know not to wear shoes. A few days later my 2 yr old bounced a ball on the floor and before I could have him stop the man was back at my door again. I told him it was an accident and to go away. That wasn't good enough this tenant called the police because of a bouncing ball. How embarassing to have the police called because your children bounced a ball. It was 5pm on both occassions. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about our experience was wonderful. Your staff was extremely helpful & patient. Everything about the condo was amazing; very well stocked & clean & safe. The pool deck area was awesome! Some people warned of staying "on the same side as the bird sanctuary" because of the smell... our balcony overlooked the sanctuary and we didn't have a problem with that - yes, their was some odor at times but overall it was neat to see & hear the birds. Our only two complaints: the TVs in the condo need updated to flat screens and it was a little difficult to get from the pool area to the beach.. you have to go downstairs & through the parking garage. It would make more sense to just walk straight from the pool deck to the beach without having to go through two doors. But over all, if you stay in this place you will have a great stay! FYI - there is a permanent resident living directly below this unit, so if you have a lot of noisy kids you may want to choose a different condo - the elderly man introduced himself to us one day and asked us to quit dribbling the basketball..LOL

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo had not been cleaned from the previous people several weeks prior, so we had to wait to unpack and eat our take out dinner. We had been up since 2a.m. the previous night so we were not too pleased with that. The condo could use new cutlery and every time we stay we purchase some wine glasses and leave them. Manager responded on 2/25/2011: Thank you for your comments.The condominium was not cleaned after the last guest because of an improper data entry. (Really.) Cleaners arrived within 20 minutes after guest called and brought it to our attention. We strive for guest satisfaction and are embarrassed by this situation.We greatly appreciate all comments. Thank you.
