Wish we could have stayed longer

Perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After reading other reviews I was skeptical. We were pleasantly surprised when arriving! The place was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Sunsets from the beach were awesome and the pool was not crowded. The only suggestion I would have is to add additional cooking and baking pans, the condo holds 8, but the options were limited.

Horrible Unit

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 1109 is very dirty and dated. I would not recommend it to anyone. The owner has neglected the interior and it's very dusty, old, and filled with bugs. (Nats). The furnace filter hasn't been changed in nearly a year. The blinds are falling apart. The sofas are old and need to be pitched. The patio deck is filthy and needs powerwashing - it has 40 years of dirty built up. The grout throughout the condo has turned into black mold. Too many issues to list. The property management company may come on here and say they've addressed these issues later, but I assure you they are only relaying the feedback to the owner and the owner is not addressing them. All the prior negative reviews that discuss these same issues are accurate and NOTHING has been repaired or fixed. The bottom line is you should not rent this unit. The views are nice, but everything else inside is very bad. The owner can't even spend $1000 to update the paint, which looks to be the original stuff from the mid 80s. Kitchen counters are original from the 80s and have permanent stains. I actually heard from other people in the building the owner of this unit is a contractor in Chicago...I would be afraid to use his business if this is his idea of a vacation home.

Needs updated to accommodate 8 people

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time only a few things that we would have liked to see.Refrigerator - the ice maker tray on the outside was missing so when you would get ice if you didn't have your cup up high enough ice would go all over the floor The oven had burnt food on the bottom so when we started the oven it smoked really bad and we had to turn fans on to get the smoke out and clean the ovenThey need more cooking utensils such as wooden spoons, and silverware.pots and pans big enough to accommodate 8 people. The kitchen floor back by the table needed mopped you could see stuck on dirt on the floors.There were dirty towels in the hamper in the master bedroom. Furniture is dated and you feel like your sitting on the floor.I really am not a person to complain but I feel this is a really nice and big condo, and if the little things we thought needed updated were done, the place would be a place I would stay at every year

Great condo, dirty room

The kitchen and bathrooms were filthy upon check in. Dishes in the cabinets and silverware in the drawers were dirty, they still had food on them. There were stains on the couch, dining room chairs and some of the bedding. We would stay again in Indian Shores, but not this condo.

Cutlery needs to be replaced. We were very short of utensils. Other than that, nice place that could use some updates. Would rent again.

Good not Great

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was in a great location with beautiful views of the ocean.Lots of great restaurants nearby. The only issue I would like to see addressed is an over-all updating of furniture, flooring, and kitchen cooking supplies. The sofas and some of the beds were quite uncomfortable and the carpeting needs replacing. I would definitely recommend this building, but possibly look for a unit that had been updated.

Beautiful Beach, Needs Update

Beds are comfortable, Beach access & view are great. Bird sanctuary next door stinks. Couldn’t sit on porch due to stench. Kitchen is not well equipped for cooking family-sized meals. Front bedrooms smell musty. Definitely needs to be updated.

Great location

We had a wonderful family vacation. The condo was in a great location. We loved the condo but it does need some updates. Our suggestions to the owners are: Need blackout curtains in the two front bedrooms instead of the blinds since some of the blinds were broken at the bottom and you can see inside the room from outside. Need a new sofa/loveseat as they are worn out and sit to low to the ground especially for the elders. Also need taller toilets to make it easier to get off. The vanity in the master bathroom needs to be repaired because the bottom is about to fall out. The view from the balcony was beautiful Over all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

very dissatisfied

Reviewer Comments: we have stayed at many properties and this was the worst. the smell when we first came in was so bad we had to buy spray and do the entire condo. then i wanted to wash the dishes before we used them but no soap, there was no starter set for anything. we could not walk in our bare feet because the rug was nasty. the air conditioner leaked, the main bathroom shower was so dark and no shelves for shampoo. when i first got to the rental office the women said (its a beautiful unit) I knew we were in trouble. the beach and location was the only good part of staying at this place. thank god the weather was great!

Great Location!!
