The host was so responsive and kind. We had zero issues with the stay, so didn't need to reach out much, but any time we did, he was so kind and helpful.My husband and I used the stay to celebrate our anniversary, ring in the new year, and reset for the year ahead. The space was small, but it was just us and the pups, so we didn't need a lot of space. We loved that there was plenty of room to wonder the property with the dogs and also a small enclosed area with a fire pit so that we could let them off leash. Was nice and secluded, even with all the leaves off the tree, but still close enough to plenty of amenities.We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we needed to make our meals.This is definitely a place we would stay again!

Cozy, Peaceful Cabin

Such a cute and cozy little cabin. It was private and still close to everything we needed to get to. Communication and check in with the property manager was a breeze.Bed was super comfy. Kitchen has all the essentials. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent Get-away!

Secluded little cabin out of the way, yet within 20 minutes of quite a bit. Excellent for a small family or empty nesters with pups! Would gladly keep this in the inventory of wonderful places to stay in the WNC area.

Cozy Tiny Cabin

This was a nice tiny cabin, very clean and private. We enjoyed our stay there and the host was very friendly and great to deal with. I would recommend this if you are looking for something small and very private. Also, it is not too far from Asheville if you are looking to spend time there.

Perfect

The cottage is just as described and was the perfect hideaway for two nights. Well appointed, super clean and just the right size for two of us and our Golden Retriever. Our dog loved romping around the extensive property, which is extremely private. Both nights we were treated to the twinkling lights of the fireflies. Beautiful. Would highly recommend and will go back. If you get to Black Mountain, highly recommend The Bush restaurant for its cool laid back vibe and awesome South African food.

Cozy and comfortable tiny cabin

I stayed here with my husband and two dogs. This cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen/living space was bigger than I expected, which was nice. The bed was very comfortable and the overall atmosphere of the cabin was very relaxing. Plenty of deck space and yard. Derrick was an awesome host, very accommodating. The grass was long due to all the rain and Derrick came out and mowed the yard for our short stay even though he had already scheduled lawn maintenance later in the week. We were very grateful and so we're the dogs, they were able to get all their energy out running all about in the yard. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to the area.

Old fort weekend

Enjoyed the little cabin. Plenty big for us and the fur baby. The cows and lone turkey were a nice touch lol. 34 minutes from Rabbit Rabbit venue and super close to downtown old fort and the mountain bike trails.

This cottage was the best organized and equiped one weve stayed in. Everything was top notch. Great location close to Old Fort and Pisgah nf. Be cautious on access road if you have low ground clearance car..

Great weekend getaway

My husband and I went for weekend getaway and had a blast. The cabin was very clean, modern and relaxing. Our dogs loved all the space to roam outside. The location was great, close to the town area of Old Fort where there are two great breweries, both had really good food options as well. It was a perfect getaway spot and we would absolutely come back.

Beautiful Tiny Cabin

This was such a cute cabin and the attention to detail was amazing! It was very clean and had a homey feeling, so much so, it didn’t seem like a tiny space. The town was wonderful too! Book it, you’ll love it! We hope to go back soon!

By Far the Best Rental!

I surprised my husband with a birthday trip to black mountain! Not realizing it would be more of a surprise to me with how beautiful this property was! The owners take very good care of the cabin and property its located on! Isolation from the busy world was found in this tucked away cabin with an extra bonus of sweet cows right down the road! Wont be my last time staying here that's for sure! Thank you to the owners for your communication and beautiful rental we got to create new memories with! - The Bahams

Perfect mountain escape

This was a great tiny house!!! Everything was in perfect condition and the location can’t be beat! The bed was huge and super comfy, the outside porch area was huge, and the bathroom was big for the size of the house! Would definitely stay again! This is a perfect launching point to access the Blue Ridge Parkway, Smokey Mountain National park, and Asheville! The hosts made checkin super easy and everything was well stocked, there was even coffee and filters!

Loved staying here!

My friends and I had a great trip and loved staying at this house. We had a slight scare when we heard some sounds in the woods at night, but turns out the neighbor cows like to munch on leaves at all hours lol. It was close enough to everything we wanted to do while also being in a peaceful, fairly secluded place.
