Welcome to Tranquility Cabin, your gateway to adventure in Utah's breathtaking wilderness. Nestled in the exclusive Zion Ridge gated community, our cabin offers unparalleled access to nature's wonders. Just 20 minutes from Zion National Park's East entrance, you're perfectly positioned to explore iconic red rock formations and lush canyons. Bryce Canyon's otherworldly hoodoos are a 1.5-hour drive away, while the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon North Rim is 2.5 hours south. Our cabin combines rustic charm with modern comfort, providing the ideal base for outdoor escapades or peaceful retreats.

As you step into Tranquility Cabin, you're immediately enveloped by a sense of warmth and comfort. The spacious living room unfolds before you, its centerpiece a cozy gas fireplace that invites you to relax after a day of outdoor adventures. Sink into the plush sofa, your eyes drawn to the large windows framing the stunning mountain vistas beyond.

The cabin's interior exudes a modern rustic charm, blending contemporary comforts with subtle nods to its mountainous surroundings. Natural light floods the space, highlighting the thoughtful decor and creating an atmosphere of openness and tranquility.

The fully-equipped kitchen stands ready for culinary adventures, its gleaming countertops and modern appliances inspiring everything from quick trail snacks to gourmet dinners. As the day's adventures wind down, three thoughtfully appointed bedrooms await. The master suite, with its king-sized bed and private ensuite, offers a luxurious retreat. The queen room and bunk room, each with their own bathrooms, ensure privacy and comfort for all guests.

But it's the expansive cliffside deck that truly steals the show. Step outside and feel the crisp mountain air fill your lungs. Settle into an Adirondack chair, cold drink in hand, and watch as the sun paints Cave Canyon in hues of gold and crimson. As night falls, the lack of light pollution reveals a dazzling canopy of stars – a sight that never fails to inspire awe.

We had 5 great hiking days in Bryce, Zion and Red Hollow Slot Canyon. This accommodation was top notch! 3 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite made for superb comfort. Huge deck for dark night stargazing. Lovely gas fireplace to gather round. We even enjoyed great trails in this lovely spacious neighborhood. Enjoy!!

We really enjoyed how close it was to Zion and Bryce Canyon even though it felt like a remote cabin in the woods. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful Cabin with spectacular views!! It had all the amenities one could ask for. The Host contacted us immediately after we made our reservations, then stayed in touch with updates. They provided information about restaurants, shopping and other sites of interest in the area. It is conveniently located to Zion National Park.

Tranquility Cabin is a great place to stay on the east side of Zion National Park. It's location lends itself to easy day trips up to Bryce Canyon National Park. The cabin is well maintained and has everything you need to serve as a home base for visiting this area. There is lots of privacy and the night skies are amazing.

Beautiful house in wonderful natural surroundings

Beautifully furnished house, wonderful terrace to spend the evenings looking at starry skies, quiet environment, neighbouring Ponderosa ranch has lots of facilities (pool, mini-golf, shuttles for hikes, etc) to which you can walk in less than ten minutes (two minutes by car). We stayed a week and enjoyed it tremendously.

Wonderful stay at Tranquility

The house has a comfortable layout and a wonderful view off the deck. We had stayed at another place in ZionRanch but liked this house better for the views, gas fireplace and sensible layout. Be sure to get your groceries before arriving as there are no stores nearby.

Family getaway to celebrate my 60th birthday.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the tranquility cabin. We went hiking every day in Zion national Park and Bryce Canyon, national Park and a quick pop in at the coral pink sand dunes. The cabin was spotless and beautiful, and just the right size for all six of us. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and communication with property managers was spot on.

Spring break 2025

We had a wonderful visit to the national parks in Utah. The home was a short drive to the East entrance of Zion. The location was quiet and beautiful. The home was well stocked and the owners were very accessible. We would definitely stay again - it’s an incredible place to visit - I wish we had a few more days !

Beautiful home close to Zion!

Beautiful home that pics don’t do it full justice. Hosts are awesome and share tons of details about the house, Zion and area in advance to really help you plan. House is stocked with all the kitchen essentials and well organized for you to easily cook in all your meals. The deck is amazing to sit out on and relax! You could easily have yoga sessions or sleeping bags for the whole family to sleep under the stars. We had some turkey and deer visitors right up close in the yard! The beds were very comfy and lots of room for extras on the floor. We had a baby with us and the pack n play was perfect and came with a sheet. All the bathrooms had great sized tubs. 20 mins from the east Zion entrance and very close to the east mesa overlook trail (highly recommend)! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful house with a view close to Zion! Only item to beware is the puzzles at the house may be missing pieces so prepare yourself for that if you do a puzzle!

Beautiful cabin near Zion

We had a wonderful time as a family staying at Tranquility Cabin. Many details taken care of, and the house is beautiful and as advertised. Would recommend double checking the location - was a bit far from the parks main entrance. Really enjoyed the stars from the deck, and made great use of the fireplace and excellent living room.

Getaway with Grandkids

The location was great, and the view from the deck was outstanding. This is a very nice, clean, beautiful and comfortable house. It had a well stocked kitchen, with all of the untensils that could be needed. The only real negative was that the property description said it had a hot tub/spa, as well as a community pool. When we arrived, we did not find a hot tub anywhere on the property. We knew that the resort next door, the Ponerosa, had a pool and activities for which you could pay a $35 per person per day fee. The property description needs to be updated to reflect the fact that there is no spa on the property.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The cabin was a perfect location to get away from the busy park and energize for the next adventure. We were check on often to see if we needed anything. I’d highly recommend and my family will be back. .

Grand Canyon/Zion Vacay

We arrived after a three day rafting trip through the Grand Canyon to conclude our family vacation in Zion. The house is just as represented in the pictures and is a great location for park and surrounding area activities. The host was very attentive and checked n frequently. Cell service and WiFi in that area is spotty so plan accordingly. My only regret is not planning more time to just decompress and enjoy the “tranquility” of the home and all it had to offer. Definitely plan on returning and doing just that!!

Home base for an April hiking trip

This place is great. Very clean and well appointed and spacious in a lovely location. The main living area and the deck are beautiful. It was perfect for our group of four friends. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Vanessa’s family built their vacation cabin on the borderline of Zion National Park in the mid-1970’s. As a child, she spent many summers hiking, exploring & enjoying the magical land of Zion. The area created special memories with family and friends; holding a special place in her heart. When Vanessa started a family of her own it was no surprise she brought them to the area; sharing the magic of her childhood with her own family. Hiking familiar trails and discovering new secrets became harder and harder to leave. Soon she and her husband, Alex, realized each visit was never long enough. In 2020 it was time to make Zion their home.
Their love & knowledge of the area ensures their guests experience the magic of the Zion area just like a local. No matter how long or short the stay; everyone is guaranteed a unique experience. Breathtaking vistas, towering cliffs cast in rainbow patterns, sand in your shoes, canyons that wind on in maze-like patterns… it’s all here. Waiting to become unforgettable memories.
