Look no further than Stargazer, a beautiful three-bedroom cabin located in a private community in the hills above Orderville, just 20 minutes from the East entrance of Zion. With its proximity to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon, Stargazer is the perfect basecamp for exploring all that Southern Utah has to offer.

Stargazer boasts a spacious primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a soaker tub and tile shower, as well as a private balcony with stunning views of the pink coral cliffs. The second bedroom features a comfortable king bed, while the third bedroom offers a queen bed with a twin over full bunk bed, providing sleeping space for up to nine guests.

The cabin's large open kitchen is perfect for family meals, while the living room's vaulted ceilings and large picturesque windows offer breathtaking views of the surrounding canyon. In the loft, you'll find an air hockey table and a foosball table, providing hours of entertainment for the whole family.

After a long day of hiking in Zion National Park or exploring the nearby national parks, soak your worries and sore muscles away in the hot tub while gazing up at the amazing night sky. With its secluded location, you'll avoid the crowds of Springdale and enjoy a peaceful and serene vacation in this brand-new modern mountain retreat.

An ideal vacation rental. Anything you’d need. Clean, spacious, and just beautiful. The Christmas tree in front of the huge windows was a really nice touch. And location for Zion and Bryce Canyon NPS could not have been better.
An hour away from Bryce. And 15 minutes to the even more majestic Zion.

Beautiful home with great views! My family loved hanging out here when not exploring. Great location for getting to Zion and Bryce Canyon as well as Kanab where there are a lot of unique things to see! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals after big days of hiking. The hot tub and fire table on the deck were the perfect ways to end our evenings!

This house was exactly as described. It has beautiful views from the living room and deck and was only about 20 minutes to the east gate of Zion and about an hour from Bryce Canyon so the location was perfect. Communicating with the owners, Alex and Vanessa was very easy and they responded promptly to all of our inquiries. The house was clean and well stocked and was a perfect fit for us. If you're looking for a beautiful home with a great location to access the national parks and other local sites, I would highly recommend Stargazer Cabin!

Perfect Stargazing home near beautiful trails.

Beautiful home and property and perfect home for stare gazing. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area. 20 minutes to East Zion entrance and 60 min from north entrance of Zion and 60 minutes to Bryce Canyon. Kanab is an adorable town with good eats and cute shops. There are many local hikes in the area around Kanab and Orderville, including cool slot canyons near by. I would love to come back and stay in this home in the future.

Perfect home base for Zion & Bryce Canyon

We loved our stay at the Stargazer! The house was impeccably clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and convenient to Zion & Bryce Canyon. We loved the Air hockey and Foosball tables and the chess set (on our off day we had quite the family chess tournament!). Simply perfect all the way around!!

Beautiful home and location

Our group of 4 had plenty of room at Stargazer and house is approximately named. Loved the large open kitchen and living space. Hot tub was nice too along with a huge deck. Seems like a new house and super clean.

Birthday Trip with Friends

My husband decided on this trip to Utah to visit Zion and Bryce for his 60th birthday. We chose to stay in Orderville because it was located between the 2 parks. Stargazer was the perfect location! The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. 2 king bedrooms was a real bonus and wonderfully stocked kitchen. The Stargazer guidebook provided for the area was also extremely helpful!

Fantastic House!

We loved our stay at Stargazer! This house is seriously equipped with everything you might need — lots of thoughtful details like a basket of “hot tub towels” by the back door and coffee making options displayed on the kitchen counter. The house was super clean and well maintained, we didn’t discover anything broken or not working like we often find in other rental houses. The beds and linens were quite comfortable, as was the living room furniture. We asked the host a couple of questions and received quick responses. All around, we had a wonderful experience!

What a place!!!

This beautiful home was exactly as pictured. Couldn’t have been more beautiful and in a perfect spot to see all of the unbelievable surroundings. The owner’s attention to detail is impeccable. My favorite way to travel with the family is through VRBO and we have stayed at some beautiful places but this place was my all time favorite. We will be back for sure.

Pristine Get-Away in Paradise

We so thoroughly enjoyed living for a week in this pristine and comfortable home-away-from-home that we were often tempted just to hang-out and rest rather than undertake one of the many adventures in the nearby national and state parks. The lodging exceeds its description in every way, and our host Alex was always quick to respond to our questions and queries. Aesthetically pleasing, highly functional, and exceptionally spacious and clean, it will draw us back whenever we return to Southern Utah to vacation with our grown children again. We only wish we had been able to stay longer.

Fantastic national park home base

Beautiful home in great shape. Our trip was all about seeing the national parks and we felt this was a great central location. Getting there is easy via two routes. It's around 2 hours from the St George airport. Google maps offers a route through Zion and one around it to the south. Both are almost the same time but the one through Zion does have the $35 park entry fee, which is what maps refers to as a toll. But if you're ok with the fee, it's an amazing drive that is MUCH prettier than the southern route and doesn't cost you any more time. The house was about 1 hour from the visitor centers for both Zion and Bryce Canyon national parks. It's around 2 hours from the Grand Canyon North Rim national park. We had fantastic day trips to all the parks then enjoyed coming back to Stargazer to relax in the hot tub watching the stars.

Alex and Vanessa truly thought of everything, from cozy blankets to comfortable seating, ensuring we could fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Their home itself was a haven of comfort and relaxation, with every amenity we could possibly need. We felt instantly at ease, whether we were lounging in the spacious living room or enjoying meals in the well-appointed kitchen. But what truly set our experience apart was the genuine care and kindness shown by Alex and Vanessa. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, offering insider tips on exploring Zion and making us feel like part of the family. We can’t recommend Alex and Vanessa’s home enough - it was the perfect base for our Zion adventure, and we’ll cherish the memories for years to come. If you’re looking for a truly exceptional getaway, look no further than the stargazer!

Vanessa’s family built their vacation cabin on the borderline of Zion National Park in the mid-1970’s. As a child, she spent many summers hiking, exploring & enjoying the magical land of Zion. The area created special memories with family and friends; holding a special place in her heart. When Vanessa started a family of her own it was no surprise she brought them to the area; sharing the magic of her childhood with her own family. Hiking familiar trails and discovering new secrets became harder and harder to leave. Soon she and her husband, Alex, realized each visit was never long enough. In 2020 it was time to make Zion their home.
Their love & knowledge of the area ensures their guests experience the magic of the Zion area just like a local. No matter how long or short the stay; everyone is guaranteed a unique experience. Breathtaking vistas, towering cliffs cast in rainbow patterns, sand in your shoes, canyons that wind on in maze-like patterns… it’s all here. Waiting to become unforgettable memories.
