minutes from the New Orleans airport guests will find beautiful scenery, unmatched sunsets, and a large, comfortable, 3 bed 3 bath home with old school charm.
Included in your stay is a private boat launch, fishing pier, bald eagles, blue herons, and the state bird, the brown pelican.
For the ultimate in relaxation a private jacuzzi hot tub is available. Parking is off-street, onsite, and always free.

Great stay near New Orleans

Nice property, lots of room. Property is as advertised. Nice, quiet location right on the bayou, an easy 45 min drive from downtown.Great for family if you don’t want to stay downtown.Host is very responsive and super helpful.Very recommendable.

Wonderful stay on the bayou

Beautiful and extremely well maintained property right on the bayou. Very private setting with INCREDIBLE hosts, Randal and Miss Tee. Enjoyed our second year in a row here and literally can't say enough good things about it.

Quiet and restful retreat

Owners were so very nice and accomodating. House has so much room to spread out with multiple porches. Everything provided for a great stay! And the treats and artwork by Miss Tee were fabulous!

Bayou Paradise 🐊

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Bayou Des Allemands. The property is extremely well kept and cozy with a scenic view of the bayou. This is a must stay if you’re in the area! Randal and Tee are excellent hosts.

Great visit to the Bayou

Very nice property, extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Photos don't do it justice, this is a very large home with plenty of room to spread out. Very secure and private with FABULOUS hosts.

Nice Stay on the Bayou

We had a wonderful time staying at the residence. The dock was a great place to sit and fish. The yard is large and fully enclosed so our dogs could run around. Close proximity to New Orleans and many other towns. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and Peaceful

This was a beautiful property and larger than we expected. We enjoyed the peaceful evenings and the gorgeous drive in. Randal and Tee are absolutely amazing hosts. You can tell they truly care for the property and thier guests. We plan on returning one day!

Perfect for nature-lovers

Big holiday house with fishing pier, and great views over the bayou and the beautiful sky above. Clean, calm, perfect to relax - and the owners, Tee and Randal, are so neat and helpful. Very cute and comfy

This is a very cute house in the bayou. It fit our group of four very comfortably. Tons of space for a group to spread out inside. Around the outside, there are a few beautiful flower gardens, and plenty of places to sit. The host Randal was always available via text, which I really appreciate. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Perfect Louisiana stay

Randal and Tee are wonderful hosts! Their home was perfect for our family. We enjoyed our early mornings and evenings sitting on the dock watching the wildlife. Couldn't have asked for a better 1st trip to Louisiana. Thank you!!

The house had all you need and more. The yard was beautiful. There was room for my family to separate and do what they wanted. The owners were super nice. Not to far from New Orleans. We will stay again.

Best Get Away We Have Had

This was the most welcoming host we have ever had. It honestly felt like we were part of their family from the moment we arrived. They were there to greet us at the door, which is something that we have not experienced with any other location we have book through Vrbo before. House was very clean, DOG FRIENDLY IS A HUG PLUS!

Amazing house even better host

The house is great! The yard is amazing! They have done a great job on this house! We had homemade cookies for us when we arrived and fresh flowers from her garden in the vase above the sink. Overall it was a great place to stay! My wife loved her flowers and plants so much she didn’t want to leave she was amazed by it.

Peaceful

We enjoyed our stay, the house and yard was very clean. The fishing pier was very peaceful. Mr Randal and Mrs Tee were the perfect host and were so kind to send us home with fresh veggies from their garden. We will definitely go back for another vacation. It was very nice having a completely fenced in yard for our 2 dogs. I absolutely loved all the flowers. For anyone considering this place for vacation you will definitely NOT be disappointed!

Best weekend getaway

We literally could not ask for more from our hosts or the house. The pictures online does not do the place justice. Beautiful home and even prettier yard. The couple that owns the house, lives next door, and they were always so kind and helpful. They even were kind enough to give us a tour of the bayou and when we left, they met us with fresh veggies from their garden and fresh baked cookies. Randal and Tee were truly great and you wont regret your stay with them. It was easy to find the house and it's a short trip to the city from there.

A Peaceful Oasis with a Spectacular Hand-Painted Swamp Mural, Thoughtful Hosts, and the Perfect Loca

absolutely loved our stay at Blue Bayou! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the evenings. One of the most spectacular features was the hallway and stairway leading to the master bedroom, painted by the hostess herself. The walls are adorned with a vivid swamp-life scene — complete with birds, fish, frogs, eagles, and lush plant life — that truly captures the charm and beauty of the region. The location is fantastic — close enough to New Orleans to enjoy all the restaurants, music, and nightlife, yet far enough away to unwind in a quiet, peaceful setting. Parking was secure, free, and conveniently located right by the home. Our hosts were friendly, kind, and genuinely thoughtful. They even welcomed us with homemade jam they had made themselves — such a sweet surprise! Their flower gardens were picturesque, full of vibrant colors and charm that made the property feel like a hidden oasis. As a special personal gesture, the host went out of his way to make our trip extra memorable. Knowing we were interested in crabbing, he offered to set his traps a day before we arrived and later took us out on his boat to collect them. We were able to take home fresh crabs — an unexpected highlight we’ll never forget. we left feeling completely refreshed. We’d gladly stay here here again!
