Inaccurate Posting
Posting was inaccurate. Multiple amenities/features stated in the listing were not available. The listing lists 4.5 bathrooms but there is only 4. Only one of the bathrooms is an en-suite (with toilets in separate rooms) while the listing says all are. The listing clearly states secure/reserved parking for one vehicle is available but there is only on-street (non-secure) parking. It is a considerable walk to the beach, much longer than the listing says. The pictures show a nice property that is well kept. Upon arrival, it was clear the pictures are quite old. The property is very run down. There is mold/mildew stains throughout, paint peeling on walls/furniture, furniture cushions old, smelly and stained, kitchen appliances rusted, window shutters not operable, etc. The entire place is very worn down. Also upon arrival there was no electricity or running water. The property managers said the entire area was affected, but I am doubtful. We were at a restaurant across the street prior to arrival and there was electricity and running water there. Not sure what was going on.The only positive was the property managers. They were very helpful with the check-in and check-out and responsive. The blame for this poor rating rests solely with the owners who advertise and charge for a luxury villa while in reality it is much closer to hostel accommodations.
