Our casita is next door to our home in a quiet residential neighborhood. The City of Austin has a noise ordinance at 10:30pm.
Not safe for small children or those with mobility issues due to stairs inside and outside. No pets and no parties!

Austin Retreat

This is an amazing property secluded in a quaint neighborhood a stones-throw from restaurants, bars, and downtown attractions. The Greens were excellent hosts that know the area well, recommending great spots, live music, and supplying local Austin treats within the unit for our stay.

Comfortable and clean

The property was well appointed and comfortable. The owners were communicative and available when needed. Located in a cute neighborhood, the property is well kept and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful and Clean Home in Great Neighborhood

We loved our week-long stay at this property and appreciate Jana's and Tim's hospitality. The property is new and very clean and convenient. It is located within a very short radius of South Lamar, with great restaurants, grocery shopping and the South Congress neighborhood too (Barton Springs is close by and downtown too!)

First class accommodations.

Photos show the true picture. Everything is brand new and the linens, towels and other amenities are top quality. Host was a great communicator and our stay was a 10 out of 10. Will stay here again.

Great stay

This was our first time experience booking through vrbo. It worked out great. We stayed 2 nights to celebrate our son's graduation. Property is excellent. New, very clean, nicely decorated, well equipped back yard.

Recovery in AUSTIN

This little VRBO is in the perfect location to get anywhere in Austin! I was in town for a surgical procedure and this is a great haven to stay at for a week or more! Jana had everything I needed...fully stocked kitchen, extra ice, pillows, drinks and a list of places to go! Thank you for being so accommodating, willing to be helpful when needed and kind when we met!

Austin Bday Celebration

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Jana and Tim’s Casita Verde ATX. Great facility - new construction in a quite and safe neighborhood that is close to everything you would want to experience in Austin. The place was super clean and beautifully decorated with a nice deck and backyard. The putting green and cornhole game were a big plus that we enjoyed during our stay. Would definitely stay again and would refer it to friends and family.

Charming Property, Great Location - Fantastic Stay!

We recently stayed at Jana and Tim's property, and it was fantastic. The place was beautifully decorated with a musical theme, clean, and well-organized. It's in a prime location in Austin, making it easy to access everything. Though we didn't meet Jana and Tim, the check-in process was smooth. The property had all the essentials we needed for a getaway. Can't wait to come back next time we're in Austin! Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend stay in la casita! Jena was easy to work with and we loved the surprise that greeted us. If you’re the first to arrive I would recommend the room facing the street. Unless you’re the early bird. Close to a lot of cool places to eat and listen to music. Until next year

Home away from home

This VRBO site was perfect. The 2 BR / 3 BA house is NEW and SPOTLESS and satisfied all of our needs. The beds were comfortable, the linens were much finer than hotel quality, the bathrooms were spacious, modern, and super clean, and there was plenty of space for our weekend getaway. The neighborhood is quiet and less than a mile walk from restaurants and bars. Most importantly, the host was very responsive to our last minute questions about things and very accommodating. I would undoubtedly stay here again.

Perfect set up!

My sons and I converged in Austin to meet up with other family. We each had a comfy bed and our own bathroom. It was the perfect set up! The location was pretty much 15-20 minutes from all of our activities. Lamar St. Is right there and gets you to many popular spots. Thank you for opening your casita to us!

Casita Verde Two Month Stay

This two bedroom, three bath house is a perfect residence for those preferring a stand-alone house instead the potential noise in an apartment/condo. The property was well-equipped, clean, quiet, and at the end of cul-de-sac in a safe neighborhood of Austin. The owners live next door and were incredibly helpful making us feel welcomed and informed. The rental features two good size bedrooms upstairs, both with full baths. The first floor features a modern kitchen with a murphy bed and another full bath. The private back yard is fenced in and features a deck a good size dinner table/chairs, gas grill, gas fire pit, and a putting green. We look forward to returning to the Casita Verde when back visiting in Austin.

I stayed at this property for the entire month of June and absolutely loved my time there. The house is extremely clean and it is evident that they put a lot of thought into every aspect of the property. I was provided with all of the necessities needed for a long term stay. Jana and Tim, the owners, live right next door and are the kindest and most genuine people - always willing to offer recommendations for anything we may be interested in doing in Austin (food, drinks, concerts etc.). It was the perfect distance to downtown and in close proximity to Fredericksburg and the San Marcos River if wanting to explore other surrounding areas. I would without a doubt love to book this property again and recommend to all.

I have traveled all over the world and this property owner tops the charts for hospitality and cleanliness. I am very picky about where I stay and I notice the details. This property owner made sure I had all I needed and made the extra step to learn anything they could do to improve. I usually forget to bring coffee for the morning but they had fresh ground coffee with the sweeteners I like. All I had to do was look in the cabinet I thought something should be and what I was looking for was there! These guys have thought everything through. I will definitely stay at any of their future properties.

Wonderful Stay

Our group of four adult family members thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casita Verde. We were in town for UT graduation, and the location could not have been better for access to the restaurants and shopping on and around South Congress. The house itself is very clean, well-maintained, and well-appointed, and the owners are hospitable and responsive. It was a five-star stay on its own merits, but if I could, I would give it two extra stars simply for its proximity to Matt's El Rancho!
