The Scarlett House, Newly Renovated Greenville home is on 1/2 acre. 50' deck overlooking a beautiful creek. We rent to families renovating, building or just looking to enjoy this great town. We offer a discount for a 1+ month rental. This home is dog friendly & perfect for working travelers. LARGE Master bedrooms on opposite sides of the house with 2 full baths and a naturally lite office/den with a trundle bed giving everyone space. This established neighborhood is family & dog friendly! Our local favorite coffee shop/night pub with different food trucks nightly is only 2 blocks from home! Only 3 .5 miles from downtown and 5 minutes from grocery stores. The split floor plan is perfect for privacy. On the south side the extra large bedroom w/ king size memory foam mattress and has the office/den directly opposite. It includes a wireless printer, paper, and small desk. There is also a trundle bed with 2 twin beds. There is a Flat Screen in the office as well as the living room. These two rooms share a full large bathroom. Behind the kitchen and living room is the other master bedroom/full bath. This also has a king bed with a memory foam. The deck wraps around the back of the house overlooking the fenced in yard and creek. The back yard is fenced in on three sides, open to the creek. We have included 2 roller gates on the back patio for keeping little ones and pets safe. The backyard is newly landscaped and includes a firepit seating area. We only ask that you monitor your dogs in the backyard as any damage to the landscaping will be charged. We have landscape Maintenance that come twice a month to maintain. Don’t worry there’s plenty of room for your dog to roam in the back . My dog Gypsy is a digger and we have to keep our eyes on her at all times when she’s back there, she just can’t help herself. This is a one of a kind home that we think you will find perfect for your stay. We offer affordable cleaning service while visiting. We provide bowls for your dogs. Dog(s) to be crated when guests are out. New outdoor dining table, chairs and 9' umbrella let you enjoy our beautiful backyard. We had a boat building regatta in the creek with the family last time everyone was up, loads for fun for everyone! This is a unique neighborhood in Greenville as many of the homes have very large wooded lots. It is a close knit community and we love visiting! It seems like everyone has a dog or two to walk. The neighborhood includes Grateful Brew, great coffee in the am and brews, games and food trucks at night within walking distance. Also the famed Pita House. There is also a Fresh Market, Publix and eateries all around the home and Augusta area.

Clean, comfy and peaceful

We had such a great stay. The house has been newly renovated, I think we were the first people to rent. It was super clean, comfortable & backyard is incredible! The Grateful Brew is our new favorite hang out, and within walking distance. We will be back for a longer stay!

Great place

The property is in the perfect location, spotless and has a beautiful yard with a creek behind it. We enjoyed everything about it and will be back. Candace communicated well, and we could’ve been happier. I slept like a baby!!

Perfection!

We loved staying here! It was literally 10 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go--VERY convenient! The house was impeccably decorated, lots of room, and well stocked in the kitchen. The owner was available for any questions we had and easy to keep in touch with. Very friendly. We also loved how quiet the neighborhood was--so nice! Would stay here again!

Great stay especially for a longer trip

We’ve stayed at a few properties now in the Greenville area and this was by far the best especially since we had our two pups with us and our 1 year old. The house is a great set up and great location close enough to downtown to enjoy it but convenient enough to get around to the grocery store. Even when we stay downtown we always need to drive somewhere and this was easier even for parking which is an issue downtown. I highly recommend this spot especially if you have a family or even if you’re not. The backyard was very peaceful and the dogs had a good way to stretch their legs. Also there are tons of parks close by all within a ten minute drive. Really we had a blast and Candace is super communicative.

Love it.

I’m most impressed with the well stocked kitchen. I usually travel with kitchen equipment because my experience has been having dull knives and really bad cookware. They even have a variety of spices to use! So I was pleasantly surprised! The beds are very comfortable (important to us because of the extended stay) sheets and comforters are great. It is dog friendly which is great! Host is responsive and flexible. We are very happy with the accommodations during this stressful time (with moving, selling a home and buying another.)

Winter Escape

We have been coming to Greenville for six weeks every year for the past five years to escape the rough part of winter in our home state. The home that we had been staying at previously was sold last year so this was our first year at Candace's place. And it was wonderful! The house was bright and cheery and located in a very cute, walkable, and convenient neighborhood just outside of downtown Greenville. The house was well equipped, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Did I mention that back deck and yard? We travel with our dog so a fenced in area is important to us. And having a creek right in our backyard was an added perk for our pup! The big back deck was a lovely perch from which to relax and enjoy the birds (and squirrels!), and the emerging spring flowers. This home really checked all of the boxes for us (and then some!). Candace was a great host! She checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and was available for any questions throughout our stay.All in all, this is a great property and we will certainly be back!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The location was the key to me falling in love with this place. There is a large creek (with access) on the back side of this property that the kids love to visit. The firepit just in front of the creek is great for weekend quiet time and s'mores with the family. It's a walk away from one of my favorite coffee place / brew/food truck in Greenville (The Grateful Brew) and one of my favorite places to eat (The Pita House). It is only 2.5 miles from Greenville's amazing city center and is also close to amenities without having to go into the center, if you want to make a quick trip. I love the peace and quiet this place affords.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The 50" deck overlooks the 1/2 acre wooded lot with green spaces and creek at the end. (Mini downtown falls). It is a lovely place to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The new firepit is an added plus for quiet evening, the landscape lighting makes the backyard even more inviting.
The birds really seem to enjoy our property. One of our favorite features are the 2 extra large Master Bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. When we have guest visiting, we all have our privacy, peace and quiet when wanted.
