Our charming home in Bridgewater can sleep 6 and offers a comfortable space for you to return to after a day of exploring!
Located between the towns of Woodstock and Killington, there are an abundance of activities at your fingertips. Enjoy incredible hiking views, epic skiing, beautiful golf courses, boutique shopping, leaf peeping, delicious dining and more.
A perfect spot to call home during your trip for families, couples or small groups looking to explore all that Vermont has to offer!
Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home was designed to be a relaxing and convenient place to come home to after a day out exploring Vermont. With two bedrooms (+ queen pullout couch) and one bathroom, a living room with smart TV and comfortable seating, a fully stocked kitchen and a dining area, there's plenty of space for your group of family and friends to relax.
Staying in Bridgewater is the best of both worlds - you're only 10 minutes from the heart of charming Woodstock and 15 minutes from the slopes at Killington. The best of Vermont is right outside your door!
Main Floor:
-Fully stocked kitchen -- oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher, blender, toaster, drip coffee pot (with complimentary start up coffee), tea kettle, cookware, serveware and dinnerware etc.
-Living room – 50 inch smart TV, comfy sectional (+queen pullout) with additional seating area by the bay windows
-Dining area – table seating for 6
Second Floor:
-King bedroom
-Queen bedroom
-Full Bathroom – Shower and tub
-Laundry closet with washer/dryer & complimentary laundry supplies
A pack and play is also available for your tiniest traveler!
Backyard:
-Shared (with the other unit) outdoor space with 6 adirondack chairs and solo stove fire pit
-Propane grill
-Shared (with the other unit) driveway with parking for 2 vehicles
Guests have access to the entire space with the exception of one locked storage closet and the garage. As our home is a duplex, you share a wall with the other unit, so you can potentially expect to see or hear people during your stay. Feel free to say hi in passing!
We're happy to help with suggestions, but never overbearing.
We are a 10 minute drive to downtown Woodstock, 12 minute drive to Killington (even closer to the skyship gondola) and one mile from Long Trail Brewery. It's the perfect location for skiers, leaf peepers, snowmobilers, hikers, and everyone in between!
The VAST trail for snowmobiling is located across the river across the street from our house. The community center/fire station is about 1 minute from the house and would be the best place to unload snowmobiles to catch the trail.
There is virtually no public transit in Woodstock/Killington, so having a personal vehicle is recommended if you wish to explore all of the scenery and attractions that the area has to offer!
Linens, bath/hand/wash towels and start up toiletries are provided.
Parking for 2 cars in shared driveway
We are dog friendly and require a non-refundable $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs, max). This does not cover any damage or waste pickup and all dogs must be house trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not allow cats due to guest allergies.
We are located on the main road in Bridgewater, so please take this into consideration when deciding to bring your pup. There is a shared backyard with the other side of the duplex and we are driving distance to walking trails and parks.
Please note that there is some potential for road noise. We provide sound machines in both bedrooms.
We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video on all exterior entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.
Absolutely no smoking inside or near open exterior doors - there is a $250 fee if this is violated.
While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays.
Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card fees.
