About this space
This is as close to downtown and campus as you can get. It is a combination of local residents and college students located in a quiet convenient neighborhood.
The space
This is a cute little cottage with a pull out sofa and sectional downstairs and a King Master suite upstairs. It is as comfy as it looks and steps from downtown.
Guest access
This is the guest house to a larger unit in front with a shared backyard.
Other things to note
Beware, address is 128 1/2 south summit. It is misprinted somewhere by AirBnB, but once a property is posted, THEY will not change the address once it has bookings. Again, address is 128 1/2 south summit.

Great stay and super close to BGSU

This was a perfect stay for me and my daughter as we attended her orientation at BGSU. It is conveniently located to all you need. The owner was super easy to communicate with and kind. Everything was super clean and supplied with everything we needed. I will definitely stay again when I come visit my daughter.

Great Location

Nice guest house in a great location. Very easy walk to campus and downtown. With a very large bed in the bedroom, a good sized couch and a second couch with a pullout mattress we were able to sleep 4 here very comfortably.

Horrible Experience!

We had booked this reservation to stay in Bowling Green to attend my son's college gradation. The host had to approve to stay back in December 2023. The night before we were due to check in, we were notified that the location was double booked. The host is blaming VRBO-never had this happen before. I get that double bookings happen but with less than 24 hours notice! Now, they are not even processing my full refund. VRBO is researching my issue but cannot or will not tell me when someone else will be reaching out to me nor why my refund is short. Needless to say, I will not try to reserve this location again and I will think twice about using VRBO in the future if this is how they run things.

Not what we expected

The door to this cottage had a split large enough for sunlight to pass through and the door looked like it had previously been pried open. The screen door was badly damaged. The online listing said “hot tub” but there wasn’t one. All three of us chose the property for that amenity, so we were very disappointed. The host seemed surprised and said it had never been listed with a hot tub. Not surprisingly, when we rechecked the website, that amenity was no longer listed. The sheets on the bed were dirty and unmade. A string of decorative lights was missing bulbs and half dead. The surrounding grounds had trash and various equipment lying around on the broken concrete drive. On the positive side, the rest of the cottage was clean and smelled fresh. The location was convenient to campus. The host graciously apologized for the dirty sheets and refunded our cleaning fee.

This Property is Not Rental Ready

Owner did not send me access instructions until I sent a message at 11:30pm, 15 min before our arrival. The listing said street parking, but with a popular bar across the street there was nothing available and no contingency information for parking provided in either the listing or from the owner. We rounded the block for 20-30 min waiting for the owner to reply to my message asking for other parking options. She didn’t respond until the next day. I was led to a parking lot two blocks away by a local police officer. The walk from the front of the main house to the guest cottage was pitch dark. In daylight, we could see that the main house is under total reconstruction; the driveway was actually dangerous to try and walk on because the concrete is in such bad shape. When my son went in to brush his teeth in our first morning, there was no water. The owner insisted it wasn’t related to the work being done in the adjacent property, but luckily it was back on when we returned at the end of the day. The shower can’t be bigger than 3x3, and the whole bathroom is too small for an average sized man. On the plus side, the king-sized bed was very comfortable.
