Lovely Property - Great Stay

We booked this property for a graduation trip. Our oldest daughter was graduating and we had family coming in from a few different states. We wanted a place to stay where we could throw a graduation party/dinner. This property allowed small parties (up to 25 people) and that was perfect for us. The house is lovely. It was extremely clean and very large. It is an older house, but nicely updated. It was well supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, laundry detergent, and dishwasher tablets. There was a pantry with left overs from previous guests, like aluminum foil, paper plates, and spices. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking/baking dishes. The backyard was amazing. I spent many hours of our short trip on the back deck. The backyard has giant trees and we spotted several really neat birds. We also saw foxes and deer. There is a tenant who lives in a separate property out back, but he was friendly, and kept his dog on a leash. The host was easy to work with. We had no problems getting in and checkout was easy. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for a great stay!

Dardenelle on Front Street

Great House

The house was terrific. It was clean and well maintained. We rented it with two other couples for a wedding in Atkins. It was perfect.

This property is a GEM!

If you love historic homes in wonderful quaint towns, then this is the place for you! Beautifully maintained and updated historic prairie style home on a large lot with access to the river. All the bedrooms are huge, bathrooms are updated. One bedroom, bath and kitchenette are located on second floor for privacy. 3 bedrooms on ground level share a bathroom. We loved the formal dining room for sharing family meals and games. Kitchen was modern and fully stocked with everything you need. Back yard and porch are so peaceful. We met several friendly neighbors, and the town was very welcoming. Owner was friendly, all communications were quick and productive. Would 100% stay here again.

Amazing place!

This is a beautiful house and an awesome location on the Arkansas River. We had a great time gathering around the fire pit in the evening and walking along the river bank. And the house is spacious and very well appointed. You won’t be disappointed!

Nice Property & View

This home is very beautiful & spacious! Lovely, stately older home. We loved the backyard space, fire pit and views. (You’ll want to bring your own folding lawn chairs for use around the fire pit). Enjoyed walking down to the river; although the thorny little burrs are all over and stick to you…ouch! (be aware with kids/dogs). The upstairs Master is very nice with his/her vanities that we enjoyed! It is upstairs and is private, but doesn’t have a door that closes it off. This didn’t bother us, but an FYI. Well stocked kitchen that was great!! Loved our stay!

Historic Home

Our stay was the best ever , the property and house was beautiful and more than what we expected , right on the river , quite neighborhood and close to everything . We will for sure be staying again our next visit . The host also answered any questions very quickly .

Motorcycle weekend

Beautiful home with all amenities needed for a perfect motorcycle weekend. It is centrally located to where we wanted to ride. The River view is gorgeous!! We really appreciated the use of the garages. Would definitely recommend this home.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view!

The house was very cozy, with 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 very comfortable beds. A beautiful view of the river from the back porch, which made you feel like you were out in the country! The house is conveniently, close by to restaurants, shopping, pharmacies, whatever you might need! The homeowner quickly responded to all my questions that I had and even after our trip was over. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place in the area! I hope one day I can visit again. Thank you for the memories!

Beautiful Home in a Great Location

Our family of six adults and two dogs spent three nights in this gem of a historic home. Lots of space, nice amenities, and it's convenient to everything! Direct access to the river was a treat, especially for the dogs. There is even a fenced in area for them to be off-leash. The only challenge was the lack of a bathroom door in the upstairs master suite. We will definitely consider returning when we are ready for another weekend near Mt. Nebo State Park.
