Beautiful, Pet Friendly , Swiss Style Chalet with sunroom and wood burning fireplace for that up North feel.
Nestled in a wooded setting with large Oak trees. Swing on relaxing hammocks while gazing up at the stars. Peaceful get away with plenty of wildlife.

Imagine bringing your boat up and cruising on the most beautiful lakes. Minutes from Higgins Lake South State Park/boat dock or head the other way towards Houghton Lake. Up north feel but close to all the conveniences back home( stores/shopping/etc.). Close to popular wedding venue “The Barn”.

Enjoy, Cross Country Ski Headquarters and Lodge, State land and ORV, snowmobile trails access, hunting , Ice Fishing 🎣, kayaking on the AuSable river, snow shoe, or hike the beautiful trails and enjoy the nature and wildlife.

We are booking up fast for summer and fall season. Chalet is located across from Redwood Golf course, Boating, Fishing , hiking trails, Disk Golf, Roscommon Zoo, Playgrounds and Dog park…. Etc.

Relaxing time with my kids

We had an amazing time! Cabin was clean and had everything we needed; air conditioning worked good, Netflix was great and lots of room and great communication from the owners. Check In & Check Out was simple and hassle free. We spent time at S. Higgins Lake, which was outstanding. We played card games, board games, putt putt golf, watched movies at night, made s’mores, slept in & took naps. Perfectly relaxing and wonderful.

Great Place

The Chalet was as described. Very nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Cozy and comfortable! The neighborhood is very quiet, too. The location was great for going to Higgins Lake and restaurants are close by. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Booked for the lake, ended up on the trails

House was as described and the owner was quick to respond when we had a couple of parking questions. Location was chosen for proximity to Higgins lake but mother nature had other plans. Due to the weather (65 and clouds) we brought up quads and hit the trails instead. Great location, close to lakes, atv trails and plenty of restaurants and ice cream shops to choose from.

Short trip, but still sweet!

My husband and I were in town for a wedding at The Barn at Higgins Lake. We were very impressed by the chalet as soon as we walked in! Love the right at home feel and bummed we were only there for such a short time. The property had all of the amenities we could have asked for! Great stay!

Summer Break

Cute chalet in a quiet neighborhood with easy access. We enjoyed the dog park with adjoining trails one mile down the road. The rental had most things needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed being able to bring our pup. Highly recommend.

Great location for a weekend near the lake!

Short drive to both Houghton and Higgins Lakes. Far enough away from the bustle of the Houghton Lake main strip to be quiet but close enough to easily get to the attractions. Nice neighborhood, and the fire pit was great! Super clean, with easy checkin and checkout.

Memorial weekend family

We totally enjoyed our stay. The chalet was very tastefully decorated and had pretty much everything we needed. I would recommend this chalet and would stay again in the future.
