The Mill duplex is located just minutes from Michigan Tech in the quaint town of Chassell MI. Apartment B is the perfect destination for business travelers, and couples looking for a getaway adventure! Explore the Keweenaw Peninsula in your off time or relax in your own private spaces. When you stay at the The Mill, you will enjoy the private bedroom, an efficient yet well equipped kitchen, and a private patio area. Prepare for a relaxing and comfortable stay that won’t break the bank!

The Mill is our most affordable property and it is perfect for business travelers. The property consists of two 1 bedroom duplexes and is a quick and easy commute to Michigan Tech and local healthcare facilities. The Mill apartments provide enormous value and convenience!

The town of Chassell is genuinely quiet, but the property is located along US41. Most of the traffic dies down after dark, but some road noise may still be heard.

A portion of all bookings will be donated to support local youth baseball.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting someone at Tech! The property is very clean, comfortable and has all the basics you need! We really enjoyed the small, fenced in back patio. We also appreciated the easy check-in/out process. Our Tech student has access to a boat, so we also loved being so close to the public park/boat launch. Great place to stay!

Beautiful place. LOVED the shower. Everything was clean and neat. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfy bed. Modern furnishings. Communication was great and they worked with me when i messed up my reservation. Really happy with our stay. Would stay again if ever that way.

The place was super clean, very nice, and so conveniently located to visit my kiddo at MTU. The listing mentions it is close to the highway but I didn't find it to be a problem at all. I slept great! I really appreciated the coffee too! I definitely plan on staying again.

Easy drive to MTU, while working remotely

Was able to visit with son, and daughter's boyfriend, at MTU, while continuing to work remotely. The space is modern and clean, and the supply of coffee pods, sugar and creamer was a welcome discovery!

Visiting son at MTU

I had a great stay at the mill. It was a very cute place. Had all the things I needed. I brought my little dog with and loved the little funston area in the back. It was very easy to let her in and out as she pleased. Communication with Fred and Martha was great. Looking forward to staying with them again in the future.

MTU MOVE IN

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Mill. We were moving our incoming freshman into MTU. We would 100% stay again for future visits. Two pieces of feedback that would make the stay a little better: 1) window treatments on the back door and 2) privacy between the bedroom and bathroom.

Visiting daughter at MTU

The property is very clean and well stocked with anything needed. The location was convenient for visiting my daughter at MTU and for accessing the beauty of Copper country. It was a short drive to Canyon Falls, MTU, and Hancock. We truly enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to add a curtain to the back door, and that is so minor. I most definitely recommend this property to folks visiting the area.

Beautiful

The Mill Apartment was wonderful! My sister and I came to explore Cooper Harbor and the surrounding area. The apartment was conveniently located. It is on the main road but you didnt really notice it from inside. Gorgeously decorated and comfortable. Could use a couple of area rugs. The bed was too firm for my comfort but other than that, the place was perfect! Fred was very patient and accommodating as we had added a day to our trip. Definitely would recommend and I will for sure book again!!

If you are looking for eco tourism, Chassell has many things to offer from a kayak launch, and a skating rink, to ski/snowshoe trails, a boat launch, swimming beach and amazing fishing all year round!
