Check-In Complications

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Truly the location cannot be beat, we didn't need anything fancy and ultimately we had a good time.Once we got in, our stay was lovely but we had some check-in issues that were a bummer. We arrived after hours (5:10PM) and followed the instructions to check-in for late arrivals but our keys were not available and we were unable to contact anyone to get the keys. The number provided for help went straight to voicemail and said the voicemail box was full so we couldn't leave a message. Tried calling every other number provided in the app or online but there was no answer or no voicemail set up. We ended up calling the emergency maintenance line and then were transferred to 4 different people. Ultimately, we couldn't get our keys until the next day and had to use the emergency maintenance key to get in to our room. Everyone was friendly, ultimately we got into our room after about an hour and a half of texting a calling and waiting for people to call back etc.The bathtub/shower had some issues draining but everything else in the unit was lovely.

The beach was not crowded at all, and the people there were quiet and respectful of others. We heard nothing during the night, and really enjoyed the quiet beach time during the day. The room we stayed in was clean, well appointed, great bed, and just the right size for two. I am definitely coming back to stay. We were there three nights but it felt like a week. Wonderful vacation!

Weekend Getaway

Location was great! Studio apartment was good. Was very nice to have a balcony to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch and listen to the ocean. Just a few steps onto the beach/ocean. Perfect Spot to relax! Will definitely return again.

Our room was clean but the bedding needs improvement, small blanket for a king size bed. No staff onsite but check in and out was easy. Very disappointed that the pool was dirty the entire week we were on vacation, even after I reported this problem. Also the grounds on the gulf side needed to be cleaned.

Great private beach to getaway

Love the property - vegetation is still recovering from hurricane - but that’s expected - I did find out we paid 1 1/2 times more per night for our stay than another couple who booked at the same time - that is concerning - is it VRBO that makes it so much higher ?

Easy to find and we were on 2nd floor and view of beach, ocean and nightly sunsets were SPECTACULAR! Bed was very comfortable and bath towels were good quality. We arrived at night and stairwell to 2nd floor and hallway was pitch black; we had to use our Iphone flashlights for safety. This was reported. Condo decor was a little tired. Oven was filthy and cooktop was dirty and very worn. There were limited kitchen amenities. Suggestion is to supply small bottle of diswashing liquid and a sponge. Bring your own bar of soap or bath gel soap; only two tiny bars were supplied. TV was very difficult to figure out and hubby is super high tech; he finally was able to get it working. Despite a few suggestions, we had a very relaxing stay on the beach and enjoyed the lounge chairs and umbrellas that were provided. Thank you.

Great Winter Get Away

Property manager was very helpful. The unit was clean and well stocked. We stayed in the same unit last year. It was the same, all in good order. The property remains in bad shape, following the storm. Understandable. We hope the owners are committed to restoring it. It will take time. Still a wonderful location right on the beach.

Reviewer Comments: This studio was one of the best we've stayed at. Seemed larger than it was due to all the storage options. Unfortunately the floors were filthy inside and on the balcony. The grounds need to be sprayed for mosquitoes and the lawn for chiggers. We got so many bug bites. We had really wanted to enjoy our outside balcony while looking at the ocean. We applied bug spray and picked up a citronella candle from Publix. It helped a little but not enough. Would stay at on the key again, but most likely would find another place.

Peaceful with some more care

The appliances were upgraded but are noisy for some reason. I also would suggest some pest control as there were several bugs in the room. The fan is on reverse and there is no fan remote to change it and don’t even bother trying to watch tv, it took me quite a while to get that to work and missed game 7 of the Stanley cup.

Perfect Place to Just Getaway!

My room was so quaint & nice, very clean! I was able to enjoy & unwind on the patio & watch the waves crash the white sandy beach. I even saw some giant bunny rabbits & dolphins. Being able to sleep listening to the waves was so relaxing. I waking up the an amazing sunrise sure gives a person a whole new meaning to Rise & Shine.

A beautiful view

The Beach is not crowded and the pool was never busy. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Everyone was friendly. These are condo units and each are owned individually so I can only speak about 226. The screen on the sliding door was all bent and on our last day there management used their key at 9 in the morning without knocking(check out was 11) and walked in on me dressing. Other than that it was a really nice stay!

Great views, well appointed

We loved our stay! Studio well appointed and cute, balcony and views great! Right on the beach, we listened to the sounds of waves every night! Incredible sunset view from our unit and balcony. Quiet! Screen doors could use a replacement, but other than that it was perfect! One star down on the cleaning because the cleaner apparently didn’t clean behind the bathroom door. Everything else was very clean. We hope to be back.
