OCEAN VIEW - Located on the 18th floor of Laketown Wharf, unit 1819 has one bedroom with a king bed, a bunk area with a twin over twin bunk bed, and a sleeper sofa in the living area, comfortably sleeping up to 6 guests. Enjoy views of the Gulf of Mexico`s sparkling blue waters and white sands from the furnished balcony and the living area! With a fully equipped kitchen, families and friends can enjoy a delicious, homecooked meal after a long day at the beach.

Laketown Wharf Resort, in Panama City Beach, is in the heart of all the fun. It is located near many attractions, restaurants and water activities, with its very own private beach access located directly across the street. Laketown Wharf Resort holds an impressive reputation as one of the largest resorts in PCB. This property is situated along more than 50,000 feet of lakefront boardwalk and has a seemingly endless list of amenities to choose from.

The room was very nice, the view was beautiful. However the elevator issue was ridiculous the entire week. Two elevators for the amount of people that were staying in the south building during our week, is ridiculous. The south garage elevators were broken at least once during our stay that week. There was a episode our second night staying at the resort, across the street at Pineapple Wiily's with shots being fired due to a fight that happened behind the restaurant on the beach which caused a number of police officers to be called out and mass chaos to happen. My husband and I did not even go to the beach behind Pineapple Willy's at all during our stay due to all the riffraff going on during the evenings at Laketown wharf. It is a shame that Pineapple Willy's has to deal with this day in and day out along with the other hotel/resorts around there. Next time we come to Panama City Beach we will stay farther down E. Thomas Dr. We will not return to Laketown Whaf because of the subsidized housing that is going on that is causing so many problems. We were disappointed that our stay at Laketown Wharf was not a more positive experience.

Would be a lower rating but the unit itself was a good aside from a couple of minor inconveniences (smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night due to battery, flapper chain in toilet breaking, and basically being right in the middle between the two elevator banks and parking garages) but the complex was really disappointing. I can't overstate enough how terrible the elevator situation is at Laketown Wharf, a 20-minute wait was common and the elevator in the garage was broken when we were leaving. Many people would get on an elevator, even if it wasn't going the direction they wanted, just to secure a spot on the elevator, this often led to the elevator always being full when it opened. None of the wristbands in the unit worked so had to get the ones we used reset. Lastly, aside from there being people blackout drunk at the pool, there were far too many 18-22 year olds around for this complex to be considered kid friendly for pre-teens.

I really liked the 5 different pools located on the property. The kids splash pool was great for my 3 and 6 year old to play and enjoy. The multiple restaurants on the property were also very handy. You didn’t really have to ever have to leave for anything if you didn’t want to. The only negative was the elevator situation. One set of elevators were down while we were there. If you were trying to go up or down between the hours of noon to 8pm it was a mess. Other than that, the room was great. The beach I just right across the road. If you weren’t carrying anything, it might take 3 minutes to get to the water.

Ok

The condo was as shown on vrbo, but once we arrived it was not up to the cleanliness we were hopeing for..we had to take covers off of bunk beds and use them over the bedding in the main bedroom becaise those blankets and sheets were stained and nasty same with the pillows.The shower heads also need replaced..The location and property was just fine..This is just our experience but i hope the clean better
