The Narrow Nest @ Sand Pebbles

Summary:
Narrow Nest is located at the Sand Pebbles community in Carolina Beach. Guests enjoy private beach access and two community pools! The Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar is only a short stroll!! The master bedroom features a queen bed while the second bedroom features a full and bunk bed. This condo has a peak-a-boo ocean view from the back patio. Super location to everything that makes CB awesome including restaurants, shopping and the boardwalk!

The Space:
This unit is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. The pool is located just behind the condo. The HOA opens the pool mid April and closes typically the second week in September, depending on weather
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay

The neighborhood is quiet, and close to everything. Mix of vacationers and year round residents

The Neighborhood:
The Sand Pebbles condos is a great community with two pools, private beach access with a mix of full time residents and vacationers!

Getting Around:
- Free parking at condo for one car

-Walk, bike, paid public parking at beaches and in town


-Uber cars and taxi's are also available

Other Things to Note:
- Centrally located to access all outdoor activities "Pleasure Island" has to offer fishing, boating, biking, surfing, kayaking, and deep sea charters. Many amazing restaurants, eclectic drinking holes and coffee shops + Historic Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Check out Carolina Beach’s new mural project too!
- Wilmington Airport and Downtown Wilmington less than 40 mins away.
- Take the ferry to enjoy Southport for the day!

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

This property was perfect for my family. It was right on the beach with two swimming pools as well.

The place was so dirty! The floor has a residue on it. The bathrooms had mold. Everything in the kitchen was dirty. There was left over duty dishes in the dishwasher from the last visitors. The couches smells dirty and were so dirty under the cushions. One of the remotes didn't have batteries. The only good thing about this place was the location and the abundance of towels and toilet paper. Don't stay here.

The place looked good on the app and wasn't bad after we cleaned it when we arrived the cleaning crew showed up at the same time which was about 345 check in was 4 and they was out by 4 so we was like cool.when we entered the place we seen the floors was nasty hadn't been swept,the couch was full of sand shower heads where very nasty ,the towel and rags they had for us was still soaking wet didn't get dried we checked the dryer and it looked like the lint hadn't been taken out in months.o e of the toilet seats was broken and both had the sanitized paper on them but hadn't been clean very nasty,and the AC vents had mold and mildew growing on the and was nasty we won't be staying here again

Nice place with amenities and close to the beach. Parking is main issue with this specific unit

This was a cute place with nice features and close to the beach. We were coming from Myrtle Beach and staying a few nights here to extend our vacation. The main concern for this unit is parking. The unit only has 1 parking permit, and the town has no free parking areas. We paid $20 the first day to park my parents' vehicle 1/2 mile away. I spoke with 5 different families staying in various units at Sand Pebbles and they all had 2 to 3 parking passes for their condos. Fortunately, we were able to double park our vehicles in a closed bay, as there was plenty of room in the bay for 2 vehicles. We also had offers from other nice families to use their passes if needed. This saved us the $25 per day fee. (We paid $20 the 1st day because it was after 4pm). It's pretty silly to only have 1 parking space available per the size of the condo. It's also good to keep in mind there is no elevator, which we knew before booking. This condo is a good option for those wanting limited steps, as there is only one set of steps (about 10) plus 2 little steps after a landing.

Family Beach Get Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a perfect place to stay while visiting Carolina Beach. My husband and I brought my two children and my parents for a week at the beach. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer. We will definitely come back next year.
