Red Hot Retreat- boat parking, harbor, pets ok!

Red Hot Retreat is a beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom/1.5 bath townhome that sleeps 6. It is located right on the world-famous Destin Harbor. The location can't get any better! The spacious master bedroom features a king bed with impeccable views of the Harbor, work space and 60” TV. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom features queen-size bunk beds. The fully stocked kitchen features Black stainless Samsung gas appliances, large air fryer and crock pot. The laundry room features a Samsung washer and dryer. Please inform us what size boat you are bringing.

The living room is a true entertainment space with a beautiful, brand new leather sectional with all reclining seats and a 70-inch TV and an electric fireplace. The living room leads to another entertainment area with a 60-inch TV, another electric fireplace and more seating area. You can walk out to an outside patio area that includes an outdoor bar, dining area, outdoor shower, electric smoker and gas grill. There is a small beach area that leads to the harbor where you are able to park a boat. You can also get picked up by the Destin Water Taxi to take a boat ride over to HarborWalk Village, which includes the World Famous AJs Seafood and Oyster Bar! Standard boat size 30 ft max.


The property is dog friendly, we do apologize absolutely no cats allowed.

Card key access to 2 Holiday Isle HOA private beaches and a nearby public beach access at O'Steen Beach.

Location was good! Close to alot of things but away from all the busy traffic. We was able to launch our boat and keep it in the water. The sunroom was our favorite spot!!

The townhouse is just about perfect. Our only complaints are that the water in the bathroom smells bad and the upstairs was really warm.

Perfect Vacation Escape

Great place to stay! Lots of room, fabulous remodel and convenient to all you need. Of course the beach is beautiful and its equipped with the perfect outdoor space. Sidewalks great for taking a walk and Holiday Isle is one of the best parts of Destin. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

Just perfect

Everything, was great, the location, the size, the outdoor living area, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for our family of 4 and our fur baby. Only complaint is the shower smelled, not sure if they are on well water or septic, but it only seemed to be the upstairs shower.

Beautiful sunsets!!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. We spent 10 days here with two under 2 and our dogs. Everyone loved it! The sunsets were absolutely beautiful! I will say that the stairs are a little steep and narrow so plan accordingly. We limited our time upstairs with the kids so there wasn’t any reason to go up there during the day

Phenomenal in all ways

This place is great. Super clean. Had all amenities that you could need throughout the home. This home is a home for rent. Not a place that was purchased TO rent and it’s noticeable. Everything is well thought out such as a hose at the fence for our boat and waverunners, a hose at the back door to clean the pups and sand off of everything before entering and mats on the sand and entry points to keep the home and living areas clean of sand. The outdoor furniture on balcony and outback is superb quality and super comfortable. All furniture is new and also very comfortable. We will rent here next year for sure. It is also really close to Harbor walk via water but far enough in slew that no wake ever moves the water toys.

Overall it was a very nice stay. However we did not appreciate the surveillance cameras. We are in our 70’s and a few things that I suggest are: a handy basic instruction booklet about some of the appliances, i.e. electric fireplaces; oven; central heating and air thermostat; sound system (alexa; google or whatever) Christmas music would have been nice; could not tell if the garbage disposal worked or not; and anything else you might think a —----- might need to know. The shower definitely needs at least one wall-mounted handrail. I believe someone else was using the exterior green trash can. It was great for our 2 small dogs. They really enjoyed the ducks.

Nearly perfect.

We had the pleasure of staying at Red Hot Retreat for three weeks recently and enjoyed it tremendously. This townhouse is in a fabulous location, right on an inlet of the harbor, with a great view of the boats, water fowl, and the bridge in the distance. The patio is big, on three levels, with lots of high end patio furniture, a fire pit, and a couple of grills. A great place to sit out and have lunch on a sunny day in February. Plus the patio is fenced in so if you have a doggie, as we did, you don't have worry about them getting away. Inside, the property is very well equipped with high end kitchen appliances and every bit of cookware you could need. There are four good size TVs and a high capacity washer and dryer. A comfortable king bed is in the primary bedroom with a balcony and chairs with more great views of the inlet. The only downside to the property is that there are no dressers in the bedrooms so if you are staying awhile it become a little inconvenient to live out of your suitcase....although there are a number of luggage racks to set them on. We would gladly book another stay at Red Hot Retreat.
