Nestled in the hills of Kostos in the middle of the island, Villa Mirtula is the ultimate retreat for a large family or group of friends looking for relaxation. The villa is situated in a quiet environment with fabulous views of neighboring island Naxos and the Aegean Sea.
Enjoy a drink at sunset at the great plunge pool on the spacious patio, and pick your own herbs and fruits in the huge garden in the morning!
This spacious villa (180 m2) is on one level and sleeps 6 persons comfortably in 3 bedrooms. Two extra people can be hosted on a folded metal-framed bed and a young child on a couch in the living room. There is air conditioning in the two large bedrooms, and a central air-pump heating system. Due to its stone construction, the house stays cool during the summer and warm during the winter.
On entering the villa from the spacious patio, you arrive at the open-plan living/dining room/kitchen. There is a desk in the living room to place your laptop if you really have to do some work. From the kitchen, you can access the back patio area, where there is a second dining table and a small BBQ. All the bedrooms open from the open-air living area, and there are two bathrooms, one with a washing machine.
In front of the house, there is a very spacious terrace with tables and chairs. Also, a plunge pool and four sunbeds to enjoy those glorious views. There is an 11.000 m² garden all around with olive trees, fruit trees, grapes, and delightful Mediterranean herbs. This house is a nature lovers' paradise! There are no immediate neighbors, peace, and quiet are guaranteed.
Neighborhood overview
Kostos is in the middle of the island, a traditional village with a "kefenio" and maze-like little streets. You are 8km and 9km drive from both Naoussa and Parikia, and 10 minute’s drive (on the dust road) to the beaches of Molos, Tsoukalia. The house is located in a very quiet, natural environment with no actual neighbors. In order to access the house, it is highly recommended that you have a personal vehicle. Public transportation and taxis are not available beyond the village of Kostos.
