Luxurious 5 BR, 4.5 bath, Bahamian style home steps from the beach with beautiful views of the emerald ocean. Maximum guests 12. The rental includes a 35' boat slip, with water and power, in the new Marnie's Creek Marina. A 60' slip may be available with an additional charge. Contact host for details. The marina has a park and fishing pier for the family to enjoy along with a fish cleaning station.

The spacious living area with a gourmet kitchen and seating for 20 has high, beautiful cypress wood ceilings and breathtaking ocean views. The large game room with bar, pool table, foosball and dart board connects to the covered outdoor kitchen, bar and heated pool. The sky sundeck has incredible views of the ocean and south end of the island. You are a nice walk or short golf cart ride to beautiful Tahiti beach, but you are only steps away from the ocean via a private beach path. Want to take a break from the fun? Two king master suites with ocean views and two additional bedrooms are located in the separate bedroom pod connected to the main house all under roof.

We have been coming to Elbow for 15 plus years and this house had the best layout for our family and friends that join us every year. We will certainly be back to the Frigate House!

Awesome experience!

This home is awesome! Layout worked well for our group of 3 couples and 2 singles. Downstairs entry level has 2 bedrooms (2 twins and 1 queen) with shared bath along with game-room, bunk-room, full bath, separate laundry room, pool area with grill and outdoor bar. Upstairs one large room including living area, kitchen and dining, porch with beautiful view of ocean. Porch has spiral stairway to an observation deck where we enjoyed stargazing. Also on this level are 2 king rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a half bath. Just a note about access… this might not be the appropriate house for your group if anyone has difficulty with stairs. Although the weather was chilly and rainy the first part of our week, we loved using the pool. It is heated but was still chilly, of course we were there in December. Large living area worked perfectly as a gathering place where we cooked several meals and played cards and socialized. We took advantage of the concierge grocery service to have delivery at our arrival, which we highly recommend. Kitchen is very well equipped. The dock space provided with the house was super useful and convenient, where we docked the center console runabout boat we rented for touring. We also had our 41’ power catamaran and our host/owner secured a neighbor’s dock slip large enough for it, including power and water, at a reasonable additional cost. We really only had one issue during our trip, management and maintenance were quick to respond.

Amazing house

The house was absolutely incredible for our large group. Amazing location on the south end of the island. Communication with the owner Chris was absolutely amazing. We’ve been going to the Abaco’s for 15 years and this house will be our new go to.

A Phenomenal Stay in Paradise

We recently stayed at the Frigate House on Elbow Cay in the Bahamas, and it was one of the most enjoyable vacations we’ve ever had. The house was phenomenal, offering all the comforts of home and more. Everything was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail was evident in every room. The location, breathtaking views, coupled with the serene ambiance, made for a perfect getaway. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and met the hosts, Chris and Carol Lyn. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in the Bahamas.

Spring Break

This property was perfect for our spring break trip. We had 4 young kids, 4 parents and a sitter with room to spare. Chris and Carol Lyn have gone above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and were so helpful in the planning process with recommendations on getting to and navigating the island. Cannot say enough good things about Frigate House and our hosts. We’ll be back!

Bahamas Spring Break

The Frigate House was the perfect spot for our group to enjoy our first Bahamian adventure. The home accommodated our multi-family group easily and was a wonderful space for entertaining everyone. The home was beautifully appointed, including a great games room and wonderful lounge space by the pool. Even though we were a little ways from Hopetown, the more southern location worked out well as it was more quiet and closer to Tahitit beach and SeaSpray resort. Chris (Property Manager) was super helpful and was also accessible during our stay. We would highly recommend this property and we hope to have a chance to return some time soon!

Beautiful House

We had a great time at the Frigate house. The interiors were lovely, and the game room was greatly appreciated since the weather wasn’t the best. The house is a short walk to the marina and two beaches. Everything else is just a golf cart away. The wifi also worked great, as did the generator (power went out twice but you wouldn’t even know because of the generator). We would definitely rent this house again!!

Best house in the Bahamas

Wow, the house is amazing, owners are incredible, and the island is a beautiful dream! The house is new, feels new, and is incredibly clean and comfortable. We all slept well, cooked to our hearts' content, and played in the pool and game room for a week. Chris and Carolyn are wonderful owners... so generous with their time and attention getting us settled. And kind when we slipped up on a couple of details. They're also so responsive - they live nearby and were immediately available by text on the two occasions I contacted them. Yet, otherwise they wished us well and we didn't see them. They were also very helpful with advance information about the island and rentals, as well as dock slip and details to accommodate our boat. Btw, the marina is secure...we had no doubt our boat was safe from people or weather. Once we arrived, they were informative of fun activities and places we may enjoy. Chris and Carolyn made our first trip to Elbow memorable in so many ways, esp in building this gorgeous house for us all to enjoy! We can't wait to return!
