Thanks for viewing our listing; one of many properties professionally managed by JonBie Maisons on Daufuskie Island.

First thing to note when planning a trip to Daufuskie Island is there is NO Bridge. To reach Daufuskie Island you must book a ferry, water taxi or come by your own boat. Once on the island you’ll need grounds transport from your arrival dock to your JonBie Maisons vacation home. JonBie Maisons has options listed for both ferry/water taxi and transport providers and will be happy to make recommendations based on your travel arrangements.

We’re excited to host you so please check out the specifics of our home below.

This premium cottage has it all. Situated on the ocean-front row of Daufuskie’s beautiful Avenue of Oaks, Seaside Serenity guests will look to the Atlantic Ocean beach from the front porch. The cottage has a wonderful location, and cottage guests will be just steps away from the pristine Melrose Beach.

The interior of the cottage is open and spacious living/dining/kitchen area that is great for family and friend time. The cottage includes flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. WIFI is Free during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 8 or more with full size stainless steel appliances, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a stocked Coffee/Tea Bar, making meal preparation easy for you and your family throughout your stay - even Holidays!

A laundry room with washer and dryer is also available to make island life more convenient and comfortable; and there is a high chair and pack & play for your infant and toddler needs.

A golf cart is also included with your booking for your use during your stay. Information for reserving additional carts at discounted rate will be provided at booking. GAS CARTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL JONBIE COTTAGES & VILLAS and Carts are NOT to be used for hauling luggage, groceries, coolers, etc.

Fantastic vacation. We practically had the whole beach to ourselves. Highly recommend. Be sure to bring your own groceries for the length of your stay— groceries on the island are very limited.

Island oasis

We can not say enough about this place. We had such an amazing time, we already planning our next visit! The cottage was sooo clean and absolutely beautiful we had everything we needed to cook amazing meals while we were there as we did bring some things for a couple of dinners and quick lunches. The views were stunning and we loved being able to walk right down to the the ocean! The melrose beach club being so close was another plus. The pool was amazing! We did every thing on the island you could and having the golf cart was deff a must. We had an easy time getting our ferry and ground transportation. We used HHI and they were incredible. I would absolutely recommend staying here ane we will be back asap!.Huge thank you to Tammy for assisting us with all our questions and needs. 10/10

beautiful beach and home, but know before you go

The beach and home are both gorgeous, and are just as pictured on the listing. However, there were several parts of the listing that turned out to be inaccurate. As long as you are aware of these items, I wouldn't hesitate to book again. The list of amenities for the house states that guests have access to a pool. It wasn't until after I had paid the money that I found out that the pool would not be open while we were there, and even if it had been, there would be a fee to use it. Also, we were especially hoping to use the bicycles and paddleboards that were advertised as coming with the house. There was only one sad, rusted bike that needed air in the tires, and no paddleboards. When I reached out to the host about these items, the paddleboards did eventually show up, on the last day of our visit, but there was no communication from the host. Also, we had several smaller issues with the kitchen. In addition, since we had never been to Daufuskie before, we were unaware of the defunct resort and decrepit buildings that you pass through each time you leave the cottage. There were very few restaurants or stores open on the days of the week that we visited, so planning ahead and bringing groceries is critical. Despite all of these issues, the home really was beautifully decorated and all the finishes were high end. The beach was spectacular, as hardly anyone was there, and we felt like we almost had our own private beach, just a short walk across the grass.

45th Wedding Anniversary

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The house was a perfect location, well appointed, and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking as it is winter and the restaurants were not at full schedule. So much fun cruising around in the golf cart included in the rental. A nest of bald eagles and dauphins gliding was the icing on the week!

Remote unspoiled island

House and accommodations were very nice and comfortable!Daufuskie is probably not for everyone, but it's a great getaway and slow down a little vacation!

Amazing Stay!

Our second trip to Daufuskie Island was absolutely wonderful, and Tammy and her team played a huge role in making it so memorable. From the start, they helped us with all the logistics, ensuring everything was smooth and stress-free. Whether it was recommending activities, guiding us on where to explore, or simply being available for any questions, they truly made us feel at home. Our daughters, ages 4 and 8, can’t stop talking about how much fun they had! We spent hours searching for sand dollars and starfish on the beach, and our nightly sand crab hunts became a favorite family tradition. The cottage we stayed in was perfect – beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and with the most incredible view of the sunrise over the ocean every morning. Tammy’s team ensured we had all the information we needed, from what to do on the island to local tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway, we highly recommend the cottage at JonBie Maisons. We can’t wait to return!

Delightful Daufuskie Days

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Communication with Tammy was extremely helpful and prompt. The property was amazing! Extremely clean, beautifully decorated and fantastic location. Secluded Luxury in Paradise

We absolutely loved our stay on Daufuskie! This house is truly incredible. All furnishings and accommodations, from the towels to the baking sheets to the coat hangers, are top quality. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the water pressure is excellent — and we never ran out of hot water, even with two adults and four teenagers taking showers every evening. Bonus points for the brand new, large capacity washer and dryer. Tammy is fantastic and I truly appreciate the thoughtfulness that the owners put into this property. We look forward to staying here on our next visit to Daufuskie. Other tips — the beach chairs were a little worn and don’t recline, so we rented chairs that were set up daily. We used our own Shibumi shade and those are definitely popular! We meal planned and brought everything we needed for our breakfasts and dinners, and I was glad we did because it stormed most evenings and we didn’t want to take the golf cart across the island in the rainy dark. We explored the island restaurants for lunches and had a lot of fun - don’t miss Frye’s Corner! It is a little wild driving past the abandoned resort but we also kind of loved it. The Oyster House does a great job and while we didn’t use the pool, it is a great and close (walkable from the house) option.

Beautiful Vacation

Our brief 3 night stay met and exceeded our expectations. The cottage was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. I enjoyed reading on the porch while listening to the waves. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we ate all of our meals in, although we heard good things about the restaurants on the island. Thank you for providing the basics so we could pack light. We also enjoyed the well-stocked game cabinet!! This was our first trip to Daufuskie, and my family of five was delighted with the island. We enjoyed the privacy and the wilderness. We went to School Grounds Coffee and learned about making indigo, and visited the winery and lighthouse, and made a quick stop to admire the beautiful church. Captain Dan brought us over to the island from Savannah, and Daufuskie Life was our shuttle to our cottage--we were pleased with and would recommend both services. Thank you for hosting us! We hope to return!

Fantastic stay on Daufuskie Island

The moment we arrived at the house we were smiling and then we walked in the door and saw the beautiful house in person and then the view and we knew we made the right choice! The house is stunning, every decorating detail is top notch. The bed in the primary bedroom is very comfortable and made the perfect spot to recap our day. Overall we were very happy but we do have a few suggestions that would make this property even better. First, the GFI outlet outside for the golf cart was giving us issues, it probably needs changed. Second, we could not find the remotes for the fan in the LR and porch, we asked about them but they were never provided. Third, we were only supplied one kitchen dish towel for a ten day stay, additional towels would have been nice. Fourth, there were no cleaning supplies to use in the kitchen or to wipe off dining room table. Last, the fitted sheet on the primary bed did not stay on and needed constant adjustment. These are all minor issues but should be addressed. We enjoyed this amazing island vacation and hope to visit again. Shoutout to Katie at Daufuski Waves for setting up our beach umbrella & chairs every morning, it made our time on the beach even more enjoyable!

Amazing experience in the island and beautiful home

I was nervous planning this trip given the need to book the boat to the island, the shuttle to our beach house and limited restaurants and the checkin process but honestly they literally give you all the info and made it easy! Everyone was so kind and the island was such a fun adventure - the house was incredible, back porch amazing for sunrises/sunsets - the beach/water was perfect and had it almost all to ourselves! The showers, beds, amenities and kitchen were #1! Golf cart was perfect-few bikes needed air in tires. Owner met us at checkin and was incredibly welcoming to my husband and I, my in laws, kids and bull mastiff dog, Theo. They had chairs for the beach we used everyday, nice beach towels and even boogie boards for the kids. We had a fire in the fire pit one evening. Our only confusion/challenge was we got to island on Monday and general store I guess is closed on Mon, Tuesdays so we couldnt get groceries til Wed. Fortunately we brought enough things in our cooler but that was hard as well and figuring out where to eat. Not a lot of options and many things close early or have off hours. Once we understood the island and Daufuskie time we were good but took a bit. I would totally recommend Joe Bie Maison, at Dan for transportation in his boats and Pat is wonderful as well with Daufuskie Life! Book it - you won’t regret it!

Beautiful house on Daufuskie

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house and the location are gorgeous. The house had everything we needed for a week of fun and relaxation. The beds were so comfy and with that and the quiet, we had the best sleep in a long time! We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful property

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Check-in was easy and hosts were very communicative. The rental property was spotless and well stocked with kitchen items, toiletries, towels, etc. Everything you could need. Beautiful location and great cottage. Will be back!

Beautiful rental, super quiet and chill island

Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean! More than enough space for our family of 4 and Bulldog - the bedrooms are huge. We couldn’t get the fireplace to work and the bikes were rough, but everything else was perfect! Great beach for walking and the ruins of the abandoned resort are fascinating. Had a great time, we’ll be back!

It was Seaside Serenity

Wonderful stay, beautiful place! I had been wanting to visit Daufuskie Island for a while and it did not disappoint. The house was as pretty as pictured and the location and view were great. I loved getting up and walking on the beach with my coffee and having it mostly to myself. The trip was a good balance of seeing sites on the island, trying the restaurants and relaxing. Loved the golf cart. I would highly recommend Seaside Serenity!
