Only thing I’d cretic would be you could tell someone had used the bathroom (male) since house was cleaned since there was urine splatter on the floor in front toilet when we checked in. Also footprints on floor coming from porch in bedroom, seems like it wasn’t mopped. Exterior could use some up keep also. Porch floor boards could use some real attention before some one trips on wharpped boards. Besides that we loved the house and will be using again in the future.

Beautiful setting and nice property. Outside maintenance just needs some attention (paint, deck stain, etc). Inside was great!

Great Stay!

This island is like taking a step back in time. It is quiet and makes you feel as though you are on a private beach. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our house was clean and everything was easy to navigate. The ferry and land transportation were easy to navigate (we used island head).We will definitely be back!

Mid-winter on the beach in Melrose

If it's your first time to Daufuskie Island, as your arranged ground-transportation drives you to Avenue of the Oaks and you observe the early stages of the reconstruction of what you immediately identify as a grand resort of a bygone era, you might ask yourself if you made a misstep in planning your island getaway. That is until you open the door to your JonBoi property. Immediately, you are awash with a sense of privilege and comfort as you enter the thoughtfully appointed accommodations. JonBoi has masterfully provided for all the things you couldn't practically bring with you to insure a wonderful vacation experience. It was as if we had been there before and left all the things we wanted for our next visit. Communication was terrific, check-in to the property was as flawless as arriving at your very own island retreat. Through the booking process, JonBoi provided invaluable resources that offered guidance for how to get to and from and what to expect, making for the very best experience possible. I can confidently say that any future visits we make to Daufuskie Island will again include accommodations curated by JonBoi Maison. Thank you for such a memorable experience. Cheers.

Everything about our stay was great. We loved everything about the island. The cottage was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t ask for a more gorgeous weekend to celebrate our anniversary.

Daufuskie Island visit

The house was wonderful and clean and spacious. Ocean view was lovely. We really enjoyed exploring the island on our golf cart. Not a complaint, but it was difficult finding food and places to eat on the island. There is only one general store and there really isn’t much to choose from. Just wished we had a little more information on that ahead of time.

Great rental

Everything was awesone!! Very beautifully decorated and furnished. Anything you would want was there. Very spacious. Wide doors and furnished with all the necessities. Kitchen had every tool imagjnable. I am disabled...unable to walk without a rollator, but had no problems moving around the house. Shower was huge, so i did have to take my rollator in the shower so i could safely wash mh hair as there are no handicapped bars. Also, i nrought a commode riser which made the commode work for me. The beautiful sun glistening on the water was a gorgeous view out the back door. Golf cart was a very nice way to get around the island.

Beautiful beach location. House was very clean and comfortable. Thank you for allowing early check in. Unfortunately the Slider to screened in porch didn't work. Overall a fantastic vacation and great accommodations. Would recommend to others. Thank you

Serene getaway

This property along with Daufuskie Island is a great location to decompress. This listing was perfect. Steps from the water, amenities to have fun outside, beautiful sunrises, great screened in porch to feel the warm breeze but being protected from direct sun and other elements. Very responsive hosts prior to arrival and with questions during stay. Highly recommend.

Daufuskie stay

Property and location were fine. When all the add on charges were added, it became very expensive for 2 people, no animals for three nights. Arriving after 4 first night leaving before 10 third day. Plus breaker blew for golf cart so although it was reconnected, we had no idea how much charge it had. Will avoid using vrbo in future. My guess this will be cancelled.

Chill weekend

We had a great weekend. The property was perfect and it was beachfront, great amenities. Comfortable beds. Included a nice golf cart to get around the island. It was fun exploring all of the cool businesses that are being run on the island. Very chill Vibe.
