Miss Grace, newly renovated cottage on Lake Murray

Welcome to Lake Murray! Miss Grace is a charming newly renovated lake front cottage situated on 1.5 acres bordered by Lake Murray. The home is tucked away in a secluded cove with big water views and a private dock for swimming and fishing.

Spend some time by the fire pit, on the new dock, kayaking, or on the deck that your friends and family are sure to enjoy. This fully renovated retreat sleeps 5 and is dog friendly.

Make yourself at home and enjoy the relaxing views!

Details:

You’re welcomed into the first floor with a spacious living area equipped with a smart TV, kitchenette, a large full bath and easy access to the water. Rest on a high quality queen sized Murphy bed and a queen pull out sofa in the living area flex space. Open the back doors to enjoy the outdoor patio with rocking chairs, a fire pit and your private dock.

Upstairs is a queen sized bedroom with a large walk-in closet and a full bath. As well as the fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances and a Florida room with extra bar space & seating with a large smart TV overlooking the lake. Steps away from the kitchen is a large deck with outdoor seating and a grill for your enjoyment!

The home has wifi, 3 smart TVs and a washer/dryer. Outside is the grill, fire pit, newly built private dock & kayaks.

It’s conveniently located within 10 miles to downtown Chapin and 15 miles to downtown Newberry. Martin’s Landing Bar & Grill is 5 minutes from the cottage by road.

We love dogs too! Please be sure to clean up after your four-legged family members inside and outside the home. A pet deposit is required for your furry friends.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent the cottage. No smoking allowed. Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions.

Great house with big water views

We loved our stay at Miss Grace. We had a great time fishing and swimming from the dock. The house had everything we needed and the owners were great to work with and responded quickly if we had any questions. We will definitely come back!!!

Nice location

The house was clean and stayed cool while it was very hot outside. It was nice to have the boat dock to keep our boat right there and the boat ramp for getting on the lake was just 5 minutes away. I would really like to have more furniture for lounging in the house and a table to eat together and play games.

Peaceful wooded setting with a great lake view.

The newly remodeled home was the perfect location for our stay. Everything was fantastic. We were able to enjoy the kayaks on the lake, using the dock located on the property. We relaxed by the fire pit on moon lit night. Our host went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed and was responsive to our questions. We would highly recommend staying at this location.

Nothing Short of Amazing

In all, our stay was amazing. Very clean, simplistic and beautiful views. You have everything you need to accommodate you and the open concept/multi-level space worked well for us. We docked our boat at the personal dock and our son enjoyed swimming. Overall, we would highly recommend this space for a couple looking for a getaway or a small family. We will definitely be back as time allows!

Highly recommend - perfect vacation spot

The house was exactly as described. The home was immaculate and smelled lovely. The bed was comfy with nice soft sheets. The kitchen had all new appliances and was beautifully organized. The area was quiet, with a nice dock and a flat yard. We stay at VRBO rentals a lot, and this is by far the nicest we have stayed at. It truly is like being at home. I have nothing negative to say about this property except wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

Lake Murray Getaway

Fun, quick getaway for wife’s bday. House was clean and had nice access to lake. Shallow dock as lake was down about a foot. No bot ramp but rented from local marina and kept overnight. Not a lot of common sitting area and spiral staircase was difficult to navigate. Each room has its own AC unit. And our small dog was able to join as well. Will stay again.

Peaceful Getaway!

We had an amazing time at this VRBO!! It was the first time down to Lake Murray, we have family there but had not yet made the trip down to visit. This location was absolutely perfect. We had a family gathering at our Aunt's home about 1.5 miles away, so we were able to spend time with them, then go back "home" and have some peace and quiet. It was just the 3 of us, but we spent time sunbathing on the dock during the day and watching the wildlife (ducks, turtle, fish, and birds). Everything is updated in this home. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen is huge. Each morning we woke up and had coffee on the back deck overlooking the beautiful lake. We will definately be back! Thank you so much!

This property is awesome. Simple but modern. It's super dog friendly. Our dog really enjoyed watching the squirrels, deer, ducks and geese. The lake is beautiful and really adds to the peacefulness of this house. The host is very quick to respond to our needs and willing to assist if needed. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for peaceful weekend away!
