Partial Ocean and Lake Views @ Whitecap Beach North Padre Island
Sunkissed Shoreline is fully renovated as of January 2023. This gorgeous one bedroom vacation beach rental on North Padre Island is located off Whitecap Blvd in the beautiful Beach Club Condominium complex. The condo is located on the third floor with stair access. The beach is a short 0.25 mile walk from condo. There is an assigned parking space with additional unassigned overflow parking for vehicles/boats. A vehicle rinsing station to remove unwanted salt and sand, is also located on the property and readily available to guests. Enjoy gated club house amenities, such as: 24 hr. fitness room, heated community swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, and BBQ grills in the family picnic area.

The kitchen has been beautifully remodeled with full size appliances and is a great functional space to create meals during your stay. There is a snack bar area with bar stools for the kids or meals on the go as well as a cottage bistro table that is perfect for a couple to enjoy a romantic dinner.

MASTER ENSUITE

Through the privacy door of the bedroom, you will find a serene space to relax after a long day at the beach. Outfitted with a Memory Foam King size bed and Bamboo sheets, a large smart television, a large walk in closet, a window overlooking Lake Padre, and a privacy door leading to the master bathroom with a shower and tub combination.

LOCATION

Sunkissed Shoreline is located in the beach side community of Whitecap Beach on North Padre Island! Grab a fresh juice from Island Squeeze Fresh Juice Bar and Clean Eating before heading out for a day at the beach, or hit the Island Market for some beach snacks and beverages. Take a golf cart ride to Boathouse Grill for lunch by the waterside on Lake Padre. Just around the corner you will discover more restaurants and souvenir shops along the way. Day trips nearby include visiting the Texas State Aquarium, Selena Museum, USS Lexington Museum, Hurricane Alley Waterpark, or catch a baseball game at Whataburger Field and cheer on the Corpus Christi Hooks! Truly, days of fun for all ages!

My husband and I just had a premature baby and wanted one last romantic getaway before the baby came home. I am a VRBO junkie so when I tell you this was one of my best & favorite beach getaways, you should know I'm telling the truth. I will absolutely be booking this condo again probably once a year just because it is now a sentimental gem.Listing is 100% accurate & photos are up to date. Pool is in fact heated & hot tub worked great!Bravo & thank y'all for such a wonderful stay!!!!

If it’s your first time visiting Padre Island, do your homework—especially when it comes to the climate. The humidity is intense, so a well-functioning air conditioner is absolutely essential. Arrival & AccessEntry is straightforward with a convenient code system, and parking is hassle-free. Heads-UpBe prepared: there are no elevators, and the unit is located on the third floor. Pack light or be ready for a bit of a climb. Inside the UnitThe condo is functional and typical of U.S. builds from before 2020. Expect painted-over cabinets, dated wood moldings, and outdoor furniture that’s seen better days—sticky and rusted. The fridge could use an upgrade, and the sofa is noticeably worn out. On the bright side, the bedding in the bedroom is relatively new, which is a plus.🧺 AppliancesWhile there’s no dishwasher, there is a washer and dryer tucked into a converted pantry—definitely a bonus for longer stays. Air Conditioning WarningThe biggest drawback is the AC unit. It’s extremely loud—rattling and clanking to the point of disruption. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs are a must. Amenities & SurroundingsThe pool and hot tub are disappointing. The water was murky, with clumps of hair floating around, and the hot tub wasn’t operational during our stay. For a better beach experience, head to the local beaches away from the club—you’ll need a car to get there, but it’s worth it.

Birthday getaway

The place was beautiful with the best view of the pond. Loved the pool and how we were able to bbq under the cool pergola. Only 5 mins frm beach was most convenient and so close to everything we needed frm groceries and a night out for dinner. The bed was sooo comfortable, i thank you for a great nitghs sleep. All in all i would higly recommend this condo and the Beach Club in general. See yall next year.

Overall Nice Condo!! Some suggestions listed

We originally booked this place because we were under the impression that you had to walk to the beach. However, you can drive ON this beach with a 12 parking permit (purchase at gas station), so you can actually stay wherever you want on the island. The condo is overall a nice place to stay. It was clearly decently cleaned, and it had a pretty view! We loved the close proximity to the beach, access to beach/pool showers, and the gym. I would prefer to write the following privately to the host, but I don’t see that option on VRBO. Here are some things we wish were different and may help the host make things even better- adding black out curtains (we had a hard time sleeping and not waking up at 6am due to the light), adding more hooks for towels (there was only one set which was not near enough for our towels and swimsuits), clean the stains on the fridge and cabinets (there were quite a lot of stains on these items that made the condo feel less clean), and adding a full body mirror (we couldn’t see our full outfits before leaving). The following applies to us personally and may help families with toddlers/infants. This condo is on the third floor with steep stairs. It was hard for our little one to make it up and down the stairs. This condo comfortably sleeps only 2. We had a hard time finding a place for our little one to sleep, as the pull out sofa is in the BRIGHT living room. We enjoyed our stay here, and we thank you for taking extra care to provide a nice condo.

Condo was decorated cute. The A/C in the condo was grea! The stairwell to the condo was very tired and very hot...it is open air. There were no bugs/rodents visible. The complex is tired...but does offer a pool/hottub/gym/sauna. Parking spot was right outside of the stairwell. We know that any structures so close to the gulf are maintenance nightmares....

Perfect for a holiday weekend

So beautiful, quiet, and very clean! Not a bug in sight. The view overlooking the little pond is incredible. I feel the need to mention that the deck railing is super loose and in need of repair in multiple areas. I wasn’t planning to mention it because I think most people are careful with a railing 3 floors up, but just in case you book with kids. It didn’t change our overall positive feelings of the stay so I didn’t deduct any stars. Other than that, everything was perfect! The complex was very quiet this holiday weekend with lots of sweet families. Loved the atmosphere!

Excellent place

Great place to stay. Close to beach. Pool was crowded, but we wanted to be at the beach so it was perfect. I would add another mirror. Traveling with teenage girls and having only a bathroom mirror was hard. I’d also explain in detail how to use the thermostat… but it was absolutely wonderful place! I recommend.

Visiting for three nights.

Clean condo. Comfortable king bed. Third floor, no elevator just so you’re aware. Very nice pool and hot tub. Beautiful beach a couple blocks away. Didn’t use the laundry but full size washer and dryer in unit. People we met were friendly and said they’ve been coming back for a number of years.

Perfect beach get away

The condo and the view were beautiful, and I love how close it was to the beach! It was nice and quiet, and just an overal good place for my husband and I to get away and have a little R&R! We were also surprised by the owners with a bottle of wine and cupcakes for our anniversary, which was very sweet!

Cozy Convenience

We absolutely loved the coziness and convenience of this super clean and well decorated condo . It was perfect for our first beach getaway in over 30 years without the children. Enjoyed the view from the patio and the super close beach access. Loved it and would definitely book again.
