Our stay was great!!! Lots of room, clean, had everything we needed, nice neighborhood, great beach, good parking. We enjoyed walking around in the morning and hanging out on the deck. Thanks for sharing your home with us! Would definitely recommend!

This was our second time at this rental and it is a great house for multiple families with kids! There is a playground just a block away for the kids to play at. The park passes to the beach are so convenient for everyone to go at separate times if needed! We loved eating outside on the deck and enjoying the downstairs living area when the kids woke up earlier than everyone else. We can’t wait until our next trip. Great communication with the owners if we needed them!

Had a wonderful vacation. Very nice house. TV on deck was wonderful, be sure to cover it in case of rain!! Had shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in shower!!!! Plenty of TP and Paper towels! Lot of amenities we havent seen before A Beach passes were a hugh plus, thank you!

Fabulous stay on New London

The house was clean and cute. The owners had very clear instructions in their house book as well as local recommendations. When I had a question, the owners were very responsive by text. Beds were comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. The house is near a school and we enjoyed the playground. It is also about 1 mile to Ocean Beach and parking passes were provided. We enjoyed a cruise and visiting Mystic which both were easy to get to from the house. We also enjoyed the quirky Broken Yolk cafe which is walkable from the house.

Family Wedding Weekend

We were involved in a family wedding at The Brandord House at Avery Point over the weekend. Age of guests with us ranged from 2-90, and the property worked well for all. Prior to arrival the host responded to my questions very promptly, and one "hiccup" during our stay was addressed immediately and satisfactorily by the host

Family gathering for a celebration of life

The house was clean, well stocked, with roomy bedrooms and beds and comfy common/dining rooms. Owner was very welcoming and helpful. Only complaint is with Vrbo and the difficulty of the on line experience. Please fix your access to be easier to understand and use.

Stayed here with a couple buddies while attending a reunion. We each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Absolutely fantastic.

Great experience

Very roomy house that can comfortably accommodate a big crew. Location was convenient to the USCGA. Best part was the host who was extremely responsive and helpful.

10/10 Perfect family house by the beach!

Our first family trip was a hit! We had an amazing time at this house with plenty of space for three families to come together. We had three kids that enjoyed running around the backyard during downtime. The second living room downstairs was perfect to keep the kids active while others slept! The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We are already talking about coming back next year and highly recommend this house as it’s also super close to the beach!

A terrific family vacation spot!! Everything accessible, awesome property management. The ONLY reason it is not full 5 stars is I thought some of the rooms were bigger, that’s all. So close to the beach, restaurants, shopping Mystic. Thank you very much for a great week!!!!

Wonderful Stay

Jose and Stefanie were great hosts. When we had an issue arise they were quick to fix it. The communication was great and the location of the property was perfect being so close to the beach.

Great value, just needs a little attention

My family had a great time at the Beech Hut! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need, the dining room can hold 10 people with available folding chairs, and the deck outside has some great new features not on the listing. The living room was comfy and spacious, and almost all of the beds incredibly comfortable! The downstairs family room was perfect for our needs, as was the bunk room and all three bathrooms. Plenty of linens and supplies on site for a great stay. The beach passes save you a ton of money, and the street it is on is very quiet! There were a few items that just need attention by the property owner, which may have already been addressed as I’m writing this. The first is that the whole house A/C had a bad thermostat that turned off after 7pm. There were two window units to support the old whole house A/C unit, but that only works if you leave the bedroom doors open at night (not ideal with a family of 10). In addition there are no A/C vents in the downstairs large bedroom, the only way to get A/C is to leave the door open to the family room. Second, the dryer in the basement does not vent correctly, which results in so much steam in that bathroom that the ceiling was raining. There are no vents in the bathrooms, so after showers and such they were very humid for a long time. This property is a great value for a family of up to 10, and it clearly being updated over time by the owner, just needs that final little push!

Family Vacation

Everything was wonderful love how close we were to everything especially the beach,Mystic and Mohegan Sun. House big enough for everyone we had 11 people 5 being children and house was perfect. Owner was always in contact with us. Highly recommend staying here.

Wedding weekend fun

USCGA Graduation

This was a great place for us to have the whole family for a graduation from the USCGA. Plenty of space for everyone and a great outdoor area that we used a lot since the weather was beautiful. The hosts were very responsive. We would stay again.

Great property to use to visit Mystic & surrounding area's

Nice quiet neighborhood. Plenty of bedrooms, really great comfy beds, & 3 bathrooms! WONDERFUL!!! Large dining room table where you all can gather for meals. The very best guide book of how the house works, places to eat & general information that was so nice to know, not being from around there. Welcome snacks, a very nice touch! Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to visit UConn, the navel academy or the Mystic Seaport area.

Thank you for considering our property! We are New Jersey natives who have been vacationing in New England forever. Last year we decided it was time to make a permanent base to explore the region from. We purchased this home in the spring of 2022 and have been enjoying and working on it ever since. Our goal is to have groups and families come here and relax like we do. Whether its hopping the shore towns of this coast line or just soaking up the sun at Ocean Beach Park we truly hope your stay here is everything it can be.

We absolutely love the southern section of New London. It's quiet yet alive. It's peaceful and sleepy yet close to everything. You'll see there's so much to do here and that you are in the best place to enjoy it all. You are right down the street from Ocean Beach Park, Ocean Beach is amazing in the summer. A short drive to great locations like Downtown New London, Mystic, Niantic, Westerly, and Mohegan Sun, all of these make great day trips. This home is also located just a short distance from Mitchell College, Connecticut College and the United States Coast Guard Academy, which would make it perfect for any family visit.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love this home because it allows us to share it with our loved ones. We have had 12 here, 6 adults and 6 children very comfortably. Our big Dining room table and oversized picnic table allows everyone to have a seat. The 3 full baths make getting ready a breeze.
