Enjoy a relaxing weekend in Rockaway Beach on the banks of Lake Taneycomo in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. just 9 miles from all the fun Branson has to offer!

This renovated 1930s cottage sits across the street from the Lake, Park, Public Fishing dock and Boat launch!

The Space:
Our Cozy 1930's Cottage comfortably sleeps 3

Queen Size bed with full size pullout bed

Smart Tv with internet access to stream your favorite shows.
Small table and chairs for dining.

Kitchen contains apartment size fridge and stove, Microwave, Coffee maker & complementary coffee and all the utensils needed to enjoy a meal at home.

Covered front porch with Seating, small area out front with a BBQ grill

Guest Access:
Guests have access to Cottage #3
and the surrounding grounds
and coin Op Laundry room located on the property

Getting Around:
Free street parking

Other Things to Note:
There are other rental units on this property. Parking, Laundry Room & Yard area are shared.

Quiet hours: 11pm- 7 AM. Please be aware that other guests are on property.

This is a residential area so no parties, loud music, or unregistered guests.

No smoking in the house. $100 fine if smoke or marijuana is detected in the house.

Pets must be supervised. Please keep them off Furniture and in a kennel when not home. Please Pick up after your pets.

The host was very nice and the check in process was very easy!Unfortunately there were dirty utensils and cups in the cabinet, the floors made our feet black… and the room smelled like cigarettes. The bed was not comfortable but it was clean!

The place was very clean. We enjoyed watching the ducks on the lake. The reviews said the place was small, but it was smaller than we expected. Overall we had a nice quiet stay.

The house was very cute and across from the lake/river area. There is a small park if you have kids. There are a few things the owner can do to make the home work better for guest. 1 is to add black out curtains to the windows. The neighbors light shined in the window all night then the sun would come through in the morning. We finally put a blanket over the window and that helped alot. The mattress isn't horrible but definitely could be replaced. You could feel the springs alittle and didn't have much padding. But other than that we had a great time and enjoyed the home. We would definitely stay again if we went back to Branson. For the price this is a great home to stay at.

This was perfect for our stay. Loved waking up and looking out over the river. The space was clean and well put together and even though there were people staying next door overlapping our visit, noise was minimal, which we definitely appreciate.

Great stay. Nice and quiet. Had a fun shopping weekend with my lady and this was a nice home base. Clean. Would book again if the owner’s would have me.

Great little space. We walked everywhere. Just outside of Branson. We caught a rainbow trout!

Blue Heron

The place was pretty nice and conveniently located to the lake with a nice view. The town is quaint and the surrounding area is beautiful. Wasn't really planning on going to Branson, but did go to Branson landing. Only took about 20 minutes to get there.

Nice little bungalow

Nice little bungalow overlooking the lake. Very clean. Everything you need. Recommend bringing K cups if you are a coffee drinker. Even on a weekend with more rain than shine, it was a great place to relax. Jessica, you knocked the ball out of the park.

Overall, our stay was nice. The space could have been a little cleaner, but wasn't bad. The two main issues we found was that, first, the vanity sink had a huge clog we had to fix before we could really use the sink, and, second, the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan or a window, so we had to be a little strategic about when we could use the restroom so the apartment didn't get stinky...

Relaxing

Retired couple's trip was to relax with no electronics and enjoy nature. Great place to cross off goals on our bucket list. Unit is small, comfortable bed but was hard for spouse to get out of, shower is narrow and could use light over table. Overall, unit met our needs and will consider staying again in the future.

I hate leaving a bad review but I feel it’s my obligation to warn others instead of just being nice. It’s NOT a 1 bedroom as is stated in the listing. It has no bedrooms. You sleep on a daybed in the living room. Literally just a living space/kitchen and tiny bath. No seating.The plumbing was backed up the hole trip. The owner did send a plumber on day 3 after I brought it up but she made sure to complain first. He cleared the drain. The next day it was clogged again. I’m sure it’s old cast iron that is closing up. Maggots… yes… they were in the sink. My wife was very upset about that. I’m guessing the cleaning crew doesn’t touch the sink or for that matter the floor. Dirty, DIRTY, floors. Your feet will be black within minutes of walking around so we had to wear shoes the entire time. Check in day we weren’t warned about a festivity that closed down the entire area where our rental was so we had to park up the road for many many people to have access to our truck and boat with all of our stuff sitting in the back. Needless to say, we spent hours and hours just watching our stuff.Door to bathroom won’t shutKitchen is very outdatedInternet doesn’t work Has only a k cup coffee pot and came with no coffee stuffHad spices in the cabinet we used and ruined dinner. They were 3 years expired. Tasted horrible. No parking if you have a big truck or a boat. We had both. We got blocked in the alley and couldn’t get out for a planned morning fishing trip.No pans

Cottage was clean and small but efficient. Great location to unwind, relax and trout fish. If you are looking for additional activities/entertainment, expect to drive 30 minutes to Branson. Back in the day this area had to have been wonderful. Now it's a sleepy little community. If cottage was in a different location, we'd stay again.

that’s a nice little duplex style cabin. It is very small but well decorated. The town is wonderful nice small sleepy town with good restaurants within walking distance. The food at Cedar restaurant is excellent.
