Wonderful property and area. We had a great visit from Georgia, vacationing with our sons before they both headed back to college. The cabin was perfect for us: plenty of room, super clean, comfortable, and close to everything we wanted to do (hike, visit waterfalls, shop in Brevard). While we were there we even saw the neighborhood white squirrel, which was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Absolutely beautiful and large home! There were 4 of us with plenty of seating to watch tv on the large screen or sitting at the large table for a meal or playing a card game. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and a variety of spices. Bedrooms were all large and beds were very comfortable. Outdoors has a beautiful deck with table and chairs and rockers which we wish we could have enjoyed but it was just too cold. There's also a fire pit with chairs and extra firewood included. The EV charger, Grizzl-e, (it’s a level 2 EV charger) came in very handy for my husband to charge his truck. He was quite happy to have this available to use. We would love to come back and stay here again and highly recommend this place.

Wonderful vacation spot!

This house was not only wonderfully comfortable but central to everything! Restaurants shopping and hiking were all close by and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Property managers were very communicative and sent a great thorough document with all needed information prior to check in. We would definitely stay here again!

Feels like home

Our stay at New Mountain-Top has very comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed. All the many extras available for use, I.e. Coffee, spices etc. Made it easy to feel at home. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great place close to brevard but feels remote

Ready to move in!

The house is stocked with necessities AND is uniquely ready for all of a family’s stuff! The drawers and hooks shelves and ready to use places to put stuff is what makes this house a gem. Everything is so clean too.The outdoors and the grill were our favorite- saw wildlife and had a campfire. We would love to come back!

Great stay!

Stayed for a long weekend for a biking trip as a family. Location was great, well set up for a commentating, a biking trip, and the place was just as advertised and well equipped. Couldn’t been happier!

Just what we needed!

This lovely cabin was just what we needed for our visit to the mountains. Very convenient to town. Plenty of room for the whole family. Clean, neat & well-appointed.

A relaxing stay

Five gals spent a week at the house. Everything we needed was readily available. Easy drive to town and to the sights. Had to contact the owners about an issue and they responded right away. Bonus: a white squirrel in the neighborhood! Loved everything about the house!

Fall Mountain Bike Trip

Top notch property! We had four guys staying here for an annual mountain biking trip at DuPont/Pisgah and the property was perfect. Plenty of space - actually more than we needed. Property was well appointed and everything was high quality. It’s only a few minutes from downtown Brevard which is great - but it’s also a great spot just to hang out with the fire pit area and the awesome back deck. Will probably be back next year!

Phenomenal house!

This is a phenomenal house! I met up with my sister’s family here to do some mountain biking and adventuring. This place was perfect. Everybody thought the beds were great and cozy snuggle blankets were a big hit! The fully functional kitchen and grill with everything you can imagine satisfied meal times. Washer and dryer worked great. There also was a stocked bike tools stash with a great variety and quantity of bike tools. It was very warm (90F+) when we visited and the AC kept us cool and comfortable.This place is literally minutes from downtown Brevard great for ice cream runs! If it’s available, we will be back!

Great stay

The house was fabulous for 4 of us! It was clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The beds were great, and the sofa with it's recliners were perfect for relaxing, watching TV or reading. The details were well-thought out throughout the house, from the throw blankets, coasters, dimmable lighting, info on the area, blackout curtains in the bedrooms, quality pillows, bed linens and towels, plenty of hangers in closets, luggage racks, furniture to stow away items in bedrooms, desks (with paper and pen in drawers!), the bike washing stand, bike repair kit, first aid kit and drying rack in the laundry room. I appreciated the non-toxic approach in the kitchen, such as metal cooking utensils, metal drying rack, glass drinking containers, glass containers to store food in fridge, environmentally friendly soap and cleaners, no home fragrances. They even had a french press and a Ninja blender in addition to Ninja dual coffeemaker. The farmhouse sink and counter provided amble space to set up our Berkey water system behind the sink. The back deck was great, the mature trees had plenty of wildlife action, including white squirrels! We would have liked to be able to see out of the windows in front of the house which had privacy films permanently in place. In overall, it was wonderful, and one of the best VRBO's that we've had the pleasure to stay in.

As kids we grew up playing more outside than in. The desire to be out in the forest never left us. We can be found biking and hiking in Pisgah and Dupont forests.

Our guests tend to share the same love for the outdoors, and we playing a small part in their ability to get out and enjoy this wonderful, unique ecosystem called Pisgah Forest.

We first visited the area in 1997 for mountain biking and hiking. It wasn't until 2014 when we were able to visit again. Following that, we'd return 2-3 times per year.

For years we were looking for an opportunity for a home that was located between Pisgah Forest. Dupont Forest, and Brevard. This home is the perfect fit. We are in love with it!

Such a peaceful location, stand outside and you can hear your heart beat. That is until some critter makes a rustle.
