Friendly- in the middle of the city

Staff is nice, and the property is in the middle of the city literally so everything is super walkable even the beach!loved it

Check in process was slow but they did accept a delivery that arrived before us. The room is very dated and appears dirty. We asked the front desk to replace the coffee maker and they ignored us. We finally asked the housekeeper and she acted right on it and maintenance acted quickly. The most useful part was the location. The property is centrally located across the street from Starbucks Ross Target and walking to the beach. The summary is ok for a night and good for one person but the room is small and the entire property is very dated and sub par by any standard. Hot water limited. Furniture and fixtures need replacement. Pay more and stay somewhere else is the end thought.

Honestly we would not stay here again. It was so loud the "kitchen" was literally non existent. They were not cool about supplying the pot and pans. They wouldnt give us more blankets for the rokm. It was so strange.

Staggering

Misrepresented, overrated, air conditioning didn’t work, no updates in last 50 years. No hot water, electricity went out so had to take steps from 12th floor, broken tiles in shower had been painted over, and loose paint was clogging the drain, two double beds completely packed out the available space.Do Not Stay Here. We booked for 11 nights and left after two.

perfect stay! So easy to get to and wonderful location

The property's cleanliness was pretty good for the price and the location was impeccable. So easy to get in/out Uber, run around the canal or coastline of Waikiki, or grab coffee or a bite to eat around 9-10. ABC stores are your best friend there! I highly recommend this place if solo traveling or in small groups staying a few nights or even long term (they have some of the best prices unless you go to Hostels) I personally do not think this is the best kid atmosphere due to location, but they can certainly accommodate all ages.

Very cheap

Don’t go here unless you’re really on a budget. Spend that extra money for another place. Half of the place is under renovation and nothing was mentioned about that. Construction starts every morning around 7:30am. Also came back late one night and the security guard was drunk and had thought we didn’t live there. Then he followed us to our room. I was actually creeped out. Terrible experience would never come back here.

I am usually one who never complains but that was a miserable stay!!!!! I was so hot due to the air conditioning being broken! I was so hot sweaty and could not even sleep!!!! I couldn’t even put my makeup on or get ready to go out because I was so hot!!!!!!

Totally disappointed

We checked in lateSunday night only to find out after we paid that the air conditioner was not working and they were working on it. Monday, we called around for somewhere else to stay but no one had anything available. Tuesday, we had no air and no internet, only to be told they're still working on it. This was a horrible experience for my first time going to Hawaii. Please stay far, far, away from this place. As we were leaving, I hear that the air had been out for about 3 weeks.

Don’t let those fake pictures fool you

We moved into our 4th room since checking on Day 5.First room-No AC and the room had not been maintained, really dirty tooSecond room the shower faucet broke, and instead of getting someone to fix it. We had to move rooms again Today we got back from a long day at Pearl Harbor and came back to the ceiling leaking water all over the bed, the pillows we brought from Home, our clothes due to water leaking into the dresser and all over the rest of our stuff including our laptop and all of my makeup bag, all of our clothes since the water leaked all the way down the dresser into the drawers. I didn’t even want to touch the yellow water that was soaked into everything.The property did nothing, the property manager and the VRBO customer service told us to speak with the front desk. Zero compensation, barely an “I’m sorry”You should see the pictures we have This “dream beach vacay” is everything except that

Birthday trip ruined

The only good thing about this property was the location in my opinion. The hotel was very dated but the lobby was fine and check in was easy. Upon check in the front desk let me know the air conditioning was out in the entire building. By the end of the trip it was very clear they had zero intentions of fixing the problem and the problem was know well before I booked. The room was close to the description. The kitchenette was old cuz due to the fact that I didn’t have air cooking was never an options. The room was so hot and humid even with the sliding door open which was the only relief we had. But unfortunately at night we had no choice but to sleep with it closed as there was no screens to keep out mosquitoes and other bugs. Getting ready was a nightmare. Couldn’t get ready because I was sweating the entire time when in the room. Blow drying my hair was pointless. I asked about the AC repair every day and was told it would be fixed that day. After five days I never saw one maintenance person there.The owner failed to let me know about the issue because I would have never booked it if I knew ahead of time. Unfortunately I was there the week before Easter and the prices for other places were too expensive to get. If you plan on staying here I would recommend calling the hotel ahead of time and seeing if the AC is working but I doubt they were in a rush to fix it.

First off the room was not the same room depicted at the time of booking. Once checked in I went in the room and close the curtain and there was a pair of dirty underwear behind the curtain, the bathroom had mold in the shower and I also requested a week in advance for a microwave and cooking utensils,which the microwave took about three extra days to get. The location was great, the staff was nice, but the hotel needs major upgrades.
