Comfort both inside and out at this home on Webb Pond located in Eastbrook, Maine. Enjoy lunch on your waterfront patio while being serenaded by the local birds and wildlife. Warm breezes and beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The firepit area has the same beautiful view and comfortable outdoor seating. Kayaks are provided at the waters edge to check out the loons, ducks, and other wildlife on the pond. Great fishing from dock. So peaceful!

My family and I had a beautiful and enjoyable vacation time at Webb Pond lake house. House is clean, quiet, relaxing and the view is just breathtaking and magical. Jan the host was very fast in responding if there were any questions. We loved it! We would recommend to anybody in a heartbeat.

Jan is a great host. If we had a concern she took care of it immediately. The house is very clean and roomy. The view of the lake is fantastic. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.

Easy to check in, kitchen fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans and baking pans. Kayaking and lake are steps away and perfect! A great retreat from the crowds on MDI/Acadia, and equidistant to Schoodic Peninsula.Jan the host was helpful and responsive in answering questions.We are a mom and dad with three teen boys, and had plenty of room.

The best of both worlds

Windswept was fantastic!!! It's close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia to enjoy all the day trips, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet by the lake. The property and lake are wonderful, we truly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Very happy camper

The "camp" was very beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. Kitchen was extremely well organized, everything was exactly where you would want it to be. Loved having the ping pong table and spending time on the water. So glad we came.

Wonderful lake house on a quiet, peaceful lake!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Jan was so helpful and communicative before, during, and after our stay. The house had everything we needed, plenty to cook with, lots of linens and the beds were comfortable. Room darkening curtains were much appreciated with the early sunrise and young kids that wake up early! Our favorite part was the view of the lake from almost every room and the incredible sunset each evening.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. House was beautiful, lake was amazing. The owner made sure the house was well equipped with everything you needed. The house was top notch, beds were comfy. We loved watching the loons and bald eagles that call Webb Pond home. A great place to unwind!

Beautiful lake house

We really enjoyed this beautiful lake front home .. Has a nice fire pit for the nights .. Dock for fishing ... House has pretty much everything you need ... Hammock is nice for a little nap .. Webb Pond

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The weather was a bit disappointing however we still had a great time. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The kayaks and cornhole boards were great for the overcast days. My girls favorite part was the large hammock where they spent hours reading by the water on the days we were not at Acadia. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Inaccurate listing

The house was very spacious and clean while the property offered a great beach for our kids to play. However, we chose this house for the closed off extra bedroom listed and shown in the pictures. Upon arrival, we learned that they had converted that bedroom into a bathroom which was inaccurate to the listing at that time and still what is shown today a year later. While to most this may not be a problem, for our family of 5, we were banking on this room as a quiet spot for our 1.5y old to nap and sleep. This left us scrambling the day we arrived. A little heads up or notice they changed the layout would have been very helpful. We reached out to the host but never heard back. We always like to resolve these issues with the host prior to leaving a review and I feel waiting a year to do so was ample time for the host to reach out.

Beautiful, quiet pond with great sunsets

We stayed here and visited Acadia National Park. It was a bit of a drive but the solitude of Webb Pond was welcome after a day of being in Bar Harbor or the park. The house has a beautiful view of the pond, a nice fire pit and the owner’s provided all the ingredients for s’mores! A welcome surprise. They have table tennis and a grey place to keep bikes out of the rain- as an avid cyclist that was very welcome. Webb Pond is shallow and sandy bottomed. We used the kayaks provided and swam in the pond one day. It was quite a bit warmer than the ocean. The water quality was very nice. The owners were very responsive to a problem I had and were exceptionally helpful. If you go be prepared to be a ways away from a grocery store. It’s rural Maine and it’s a drive to anywhere- Ellsworth is about 20 minutes away but that never bothered us. Overall a great place to stay.

Nice but much room for improvement

The location is great, the place is clean and the check-in easy. However, There have been problems with the electric, water and utilities (washer). The kitchen power outlet started smoking after we turned on the microwave, and several other outlets were faulty, resulting in several electrician visits during our stay. After a heavy rainstorm, water started dripping from the ceiling above the dining room table. After another call to inform about it, they sounded rather annoyed of our frequent calls. So all of a sudden 4 people showed up running through the place and explaining to us the reason for the leaking is that we did not put the shower curtain inside the bathtub while taking showers. Funny, apparently I never learned in 60 years to put a shower curtain inside the tub and that drying off in a bathroom cause ceiling leakage, rather than a leaking roof after a heavy rain/hail storm. Anyhow, this time a plumber came next day and fixed something. Needless to say that having random people and handymen over almost every day, mostly unannounced, walking to your belongings, and interviewing you doesn't really help to get into a relaxed vacation feeling. To top this all up, the washer did not pump out the water; it seems all the rather old utilities' in the house haven't seen maintenance in a while. So when we called about the washer problem, it seemed they gave up on us with the statement, it's an old machine, stuff like that happens. Cup by cup we got the water out.

Everything that was a problem has been repaired, all leaks, electrical & plumbing issues. We have not had a problem since. I might add folks were there all summer and the only week we had a problem was this particular one. The shower curtain was out and many soaking wet towels from where the leak went through to the dining room ceiling. Our plumbing did not leak. If something goes wrong we have to address it immediately. We cannot leave it so yes workers came immediately.
