We had a wonderful time. The townhouse was clean and as advertised! The grandkids loved pool, and we all loved the community pool and clubhouse.

This was my 5th time staying at a Windsor Hills property and the first time I’ve been disappointed. This time there was only three of us so we opted for a smaller property; an attached condo instead of a large house. With me was my mother along with my 15 year old son, who happens to have autism, so having a rental property at Windsor Hills has always been fantastic mostly due to having our own private space and private heated pool so my son can relax and have some quiet time to ourselves to offset those hectic park days. Communication with the owner (or lack thereof) is what made this stay less than stellar. In May, when I booked the property, I messaged the host, specifically asking for the pool to be heated, knowing I was staying there in November when it gets down to the 50s overnight. Unfortunately, when we arrived for our first day we discovered the pool heat was off. After messaging the host, I received a message the next day that they weren’t sure if I actually wanted the heat on because “some peoples’ plans change sometimes”. I was then asked to confirm if I did indeed want the heat on for the pool. For the third time, I replied in the affirmative. Long story short the heat was not turned on for the pool until our third day (we only had a 4 night stay), which meant that once the pool got up to temp, my son was only able to enjoy the pool on the last night. There are so many wonderful properties and hosts in Windsor Hills but this is not one of those properties.

While it had some kitchen supplies it lacked sets, example no pan to cook bacon with that had a lid. Had to use baking sheet to cover pan. Very minimal on things. No extra blankets and bath towels were very old and small. Location was great and served it's purpose for our trip.

Perfect for us

Stayed here with my daughter and her husband and my grandson. We had a great time. The pool was perfect. The only thing I would say about this property was it definitely needed a light by the dining table was very dark otherwise it was the perfect place. I’ve stayed in Windsor Hills twice before in condos. It was nice having a townhouse with a private pool. Would definitely rent there again.!!!

We originally had a different condo booked, but it had issues when we walked in the door. We contacted the property manager and in less than 20 minutes they had another condo available and we were able to get into quickly. We appreciate the support.

Great condo near Theme Parks

Condo was very clean and ready a little earlier than listed check in time! Small private pool was nice for our son to play in. Larger pool area was also nice, we chose to drive but could have been walked too. Parking space right in front of unit was great. Would definitely stay there again if we revisit the same area.

Overall a great trip

The unit was clean and we appreciated the little touches (extra toothbrush, small shampoos and soaps). The pool out back is small but can fit a small family. We did have an issue where our pool was not heated but it was resolved and we received a refund for the days that it was not heated. The downside was that we only were able to use the pool for the last 2 days of our trip as it took at least 24 hours to heat properly. This next statement is mainly in regards to Windsor Hills. If you are travelling to the area for a family vacation, it is a great place to stay and the amenities are nice. However, if you plan to have anyone stop by, even for a minute, find somewhere else to stay. When they say no guests they truly mean it. The front gate will not let anyone in who is not approved, which is a good thing, but the owners will not allow anyone who is not listed on the reservation, even for a quick visit. Once again, for a family vacation this fine, but if you have any family or friends in the area, they will not be able to visit you. Overall, the unit was very nice and the owners were very responsive but Windsor Hills has become too restrictive for us.

Not as pictured, dirty.

The neighborhood was great, quiet, close to parks. It wasn’t the same as in the pictures, so don’t show your kids the pictures and then them expect the larger pool or different rooms. Our needed cosmetic updates, but overall, it appeared dirty and needs a deep clean.

Not given the place we booked

We arrived late in the evening the day after Thanksgiving. We were not given the unit we booked due to damage from Thanksgiving guests. The master bedroom was not a king bed (was queen), 3/4 of the kitchen appliances were not stainless steel, the kids room was simular but our kid was disappointed to not have the full disney themed room I showed them in advance and there were paw patrol wall stickers on the walls. I did express to the owner that this was a downgraded but they insited it was not. Also the beds were very uncomfortable, especially the childrens bed. Paid for backyard pool to be heated. Owner heated it above the requirement but felt this was some kind of accommodation for not giving the unit we requested. They did offer to move us to the unit we booked once the repairs were completed, mid trip for nights 5 to 7 which we declined. The host did check with us during our stay to see if everything was going ok and if there was anything that we needed but during my arrival conversation they did express they canceled a private booking to accommodate us, which we felt was rude to say when we didn't get what we wanted. We would stay at windsor hills again but not with this host. The main pool is amazing 5 stars and the properly staff all pleasant and kind!

Great for families - great location.

Easy to travel to Disney parks. Walmart and other convenient restaurants nearby. Master bed was comfortable. My oldest son likes having the third bedroom downstairs and didn’t have to share a bathroom. Pool was nice, but didn’t have time to use it much. Same goes for kitchen. The stairs were straight up - no landing and no carpeting. For someone with a fear of stairs, it was disconcerting. Laundry on second floor with the dryer too high to read the settings. Not enough garbage bags. Wish I would have known this in advance. We did one trip to Walmart before checking in. Otherwise we brought most of our own items (we always bring extra toilet paper when using a VRBO, and toiletries.). Minor issues, but good to know. We would stay here again for sure. Easy check in and out. Cute decor.

Good House W/ Great Location

We had a great week here at this property. Super close to Disney and we’re able to get to the parks in about 10 minutes. Had a few issues at the gate check-in but Host was able to sort it out quickly. I wish there had been a few extra items left for our week (only 1 paper towel roll, 1 dish washer pod, and 3 trash bags), however we were able to make it work and I’m sure host would have been responsive if we had decided to contact them. Overall great experience, and both the splash pool and community pool provided some great evening entertainment for the kids 😊. Would stay again!

Great stay!

The townhome was clean and well maintained. The kitchen and family were great for us (4 guests). Would have been tight if you had 6 guests. The little pool in the back was perfect for the kids to play in after long days at Universal and Disney. Great to have a washer and dryer. Even with 90+ degrees outside the air conditioning was able to keep a cool temp! Would definitely stay again!
