Welcome to Tipsy Elk, formerly known as Great Bear Cabin at Eagles Nest!

This newly built home is the perfect retreat when you need a change of pace. Settle into the mountainside and unwind in this four bedroom, three full bath home. Five small steps lead to the covered entry porch. Enter into the spacious living room with comfortable seating around the gas log fireplace with large TV. An open floor plan leads to the dining area and posh kitchen, ready for any chef.

The first King Suite is off the living room. It features a large walk-in closet, TV, and ensuite bath with a luxurious tiled shower and double granite vanity.

Downstairs are two more bedroom suites, each with a King bed, TV, and private bath. A fourth bedroom with two sets of Twin/Twin bunks and a TV is also on this level. Enjoy the comfy den with seating and TV, board games, and a shuffle board table. For convenience, there's a half bath nearby as well.

If you'd rather explore outside, there are two large decks and a large yard. The main level deck has a table for six, chairs to sit and enjoy the view, and a propane grill to prepare dinner. The lower balcony has a large swing and a built-in hot tub. Kick back and roast marshmallows around the beautiful fire pit with a stunning Blue Ridge Mountain view year round.

Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Additional Notes:
- This home is pet friendly for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet. A max of 2 mature, crate-trained dogs are permitted. No other animals are allowed.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying all their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests, however, there may be an admission fee. Cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
