Cozy Cottage Minutes from St. Joesph
Welcome to your getaway cottage. Centrally located near all that Southwestern Michigan has to offer.

Short drive to public beaches, amazing restaurants, wineries, and breweries.
Please not there is not direct beach access from the cottage.
In the winter enjoy shoe-shoeing, cross-country skiing, or a wine tasting.

In summer, take time to recharge with a hike at the Dunes or a relaxing day at the beach.

Yes, the property felt pet friendly, and we even used a brochure to get to a wine tasting where you could take pets. We appreciated that information.

The cottage had been painted since the listing when I booked it! Overall a very cute place. The upgrade from window units to portable ac units I’m sure is a plus. We had to replace the batteries in the tv remote but that was no biggie! I’m sure the host would have if we had reached out.

Summer Trip

It was our third time staying at this property and it's always clean, the neighborhood is quiet and people are friendly, the host is easy to communicate with, there's plenty of linens, anything we need for the kitchen, bathroom soaps & shampoo, and the sunsets on the lake across the street are gorgeous. Relaxing on the back deck is very peaceful. We love this cottage and we will be back many more times.

Clean, cozy little place.

This was exactly the kind of place we were looking for - Clean, well maintained, comfortable and just out of the way to avoid the crowd, but close enough to everything we needed it to be close to. And priced within our budget. Had one tiny issue (not the hosts fault), but the host responded literally within just a few minutes and got things squared away immediately. This is a small place, definitely not for a large group, but was exactly what we needed - just a clean, dry, comfortable place to clean up, eat a bite and get some sleep in between fishing trips. Suited us perfectly.

What a Gem!

The property was exactly what I was hoping for. It was off the beaten path a little, but within a few minute drive to anywhere. It was tucked back on a one-way drive in a residential area right off the highway within a 5-minute drive to downtown St. Joseph. Our entire trip was based around Rocky Gap Beach, which is a great, low-key beach that is a hidden treasure in of itself. The property was stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable. My family and I will definitely be coming back to this property as it was perfect for our weekend getaway.

Cottage was exactly as advertised. Well stocked and perfect for a couple. Would stay here again if in this area.

There was a grill which was a nice touch. The place smelled of mildew. The water from all faucets smelled metallic, but there was an abundant supply of bottled water.

Nice and clean

We stayed with our 2 dogs in this duplex. We had nice neighbors and visited beautiful Tiscornia Beach. In my opinion 3 adults didn't have comfortable sleeping arrangements since we were not a couple.

This first time renter was very happy with the property and location! The only thing I could say is a little dusting where the ceiling meets the walls could be done. Very minor!! Thank you again!

Michigan Summer

The property was suitable for a couple and well equipped including a hairdryer for my lady. The bathroom did not have plug for the hairdryer that we could find so was a little awkward for hair drying. The temp control challenged my skills but we did work it out for our comfort. Reading light was limited as well. Nice cozy accommodation that was well equipped for living including laundry items and cooking tools.
