Welcome to your getaway cottage. Centrally located near all that Southwestern Michigan has to offer.

Short drive to public beaches, amazing restaurants, wineries, and breweries.

In the winter enjoy shoe-shoeing, cross-country skiing, or a wine tasting.

In summer, take time to recharge with a hike at the Dunes or a relaxing day at the beach.

This is a sweet comfortable place to stay in a quiet neighborhood across the street from lakefront properties. Easy drive to Benton Harbor/ St. Joseph and other towns. The kitchen was well equipped and clean.

Fantastic stay. Perfect for a couple. The home was clean, the bed was super comfy, also really appreciated the smart TV so we could log in to our apps and watch things in the evenings. Also close to lovely beaches, a golf course and really area in downtonw St. Josephs

Another great stay

Thus was the second time we've stayed here. It met our needs perfectly. Not fancy, but well maintained, nicely appointed, and clean.

Simple, small place great for a weekend

The place was just as advertised, and very clean with many amenities. The washer and dryer were very handy when coming back from the beaches. It is pet friendly and our dog enjoyed himself there. I would have liked to seen a better road coming to the place, it’s very hard to spot from M-63 (and no signs) and the road is in very bad shape. Outside of that, it was a fine weekene stay!

Summer Trip

This was our second time staying at this property because we know it is clean and we were not in need of anything. The room air conditioners keep it very comfortable and the place is perfect size. It's on a quiet back road that is nice for morning walks after coffee on the deck. And there is plenty of room in the backyard for a bonfire. It only takes five minutes to drive to Benton Harbor to enjoy the shops and Silver Beach. We definitely recommend this cottage and we plan to return as well. Communicating with the host was quick and easy. Thank you.

Cozy Cottage not so cozy.

For us the place was doable. We were just looking for a place to sleep and get away. However, this place needs a lot of attention. Cleanliness was mediocre at best. I’m guessing it hasn’t been rented recently because it smelled really musty when we arrived. After running the AC for 24 hrs, the smell dissipated. There is a giant hole in the wall under the bathroom sink which would likely not meet building codes anywhere. There was laundry in the dryer. A large picture had obviously fallen off the wall in the bedroom and it was just set down along the wall behind the night stand. The portable air conditioners were helpful to keep the place cool, but they were vented through the windows making permanent openings in the screen. We had 2 live spiders in our bed throughout the week, possibly due to the vents from the AC leaving the openings in the windows. Paint was peeling on the bathtub and on the ends of the shower rod, and the tub was very slippery. Electrical outlet was loose in the bedroom. No dishwasher so not sure dishes were clean. A dishwasher would sanitize the dishes for the next guests.
