Cozy cabin located at the heart of Spruce Knob West Virginia.

This cozy cabin is a wonderful stay after a long day of activities. You will enjoy sipping on your morning coffee on the deck while also admiring the wilderness. There is tons of wildlife right outside your own door. There are also plenty of places to hike and go out for morning runs. Then when the sun begins to set you can make a fire in the fireplace that is provided. (Firewood and lighting fluid will be provided) please turn off grill after you are done using.

Perfect property for our trip. We were visiting for a cycling event at Spruce Knob, and this rental was the perfect location for us with all the necessary amenities. Not to mention the picturesque setting!

Very neat and orderly. Easy to locate and quiet location. Could use an extra light by the sink and perhaps a nightlight for the stairs. Overall, greatly enjoyable.

Relaxing get away

Was perfect ! Fun time and lots of outdoor activities to do in the area ! There is not much food selection in the area so I suggest grabbing something on the way or utilizing the grill on the property ! Owner was super helpful and nice overall! Much appreciated for the great time!

Clean cabin close to Spruce Knob

The place had everything I needed to be comfortable for a few nights. It was quiet and clean and super convenient to get to Spruce Knob/ Seneca creek or the lake and Seneca rocks was east to get to too!

Perfect Getaway on Spruce Knob

It was our engagement weekend and this cabin was perfect for the weekend getaway! It is tucked up on the mountain and is in good driving distance to Seneca and Dolly Sods. The property is nice and secluded. The fire pit/grill area was lovely to have dinner at on a brisk night. Spacious and cozy cabin! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice get away spot!

We loved staying here! It is located at the beginning of the Spruce Knob Forestry road, which provided easy access to the Spruce Knob and Spruce Creek back country. It rained a lot while we were there, so we were not able to enjoy using the fire pit or grill, which were setup in the woods. When staying here, be prepared for a tiny bathroom under the steps, and no air conditioning upstairs. The fans they provided cooled the bedroom off at night, so it was okay. Despite this, we will definitely consider this cabin anytime we stay in the area!

Cute place with great hikes nearby

I chose this cabin because it was close to Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob and other hikes I love in West Virginia. I was very happy with the location and the communication with the owner. And it was such a cute place! Lovely interior. I would definitely come back!

Me and my wife stayed here for our 7th anniversary and it was wonderful . Small and cozy . Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a to get away from the hustle and bustle of life to just come and relax . The gateway restaurants below rhe cabin is well worth the visit as well . Will definitely consider booking again in the future . Lots if wildlife surrounding the cabin as well.

This cabin is the best

Small cabin, yes. Perfect for a family of up to four, max. Perfect for a couple. This cabin is absolutely delightful, though. I would love to come back to it. It is actually a bit bigger than these photos make it look, and has a great outdoor space around it. It is also well appointed and the decorations and style are perfect.

Very charming cottage and setting. We saw a fox within the first five minutes of arrival. Electric heat would be nice, as I just felt like dealing with space heaters on vaca is not something I want to do again. Our host was excellent....so helpful.

Great Getaway!

Looking for peace and quiet? Want to enjoy a cookout? This sweet cabin is a perfect place for a weekend of R&R! Loved the firepit, dry firewood and all other fire building supplies, porch, cozy loft and lots of windows to feel those cool mountain breezes! Don't forget to step outside at night and enjoy the stars - spectacular! We had a great time - thank you!

Great cozy cabin secluded in the woods. Very clean. Fully furnished. Hot water and heat. WiFi works great. Highly recommended. Very close to highest point in WV. Many hiking trails close by.

Beautiful Cabin Near Spruce Knob

The cabin was great, and the owner was extremely responsive! He clearly cares about the experience of his guests. While we couldn't make it to Spruce Knob on account of the ice, there is plenty to do in this area; we visited Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks, and Chimney Top during our stay. Restaurants generally close early and can be a bit of a drive, but the cabin is equipped with a full kitchen and there is a grill and fire pit to cook your own meals. We look forward to staying at one of Ashton's cabins again in the future!

Very Nice Cabin

As close as you can stay to Spruce Knob without camping. Fairly recent construction. Very clean. Has a fridge, microwave, and basic kitchenware items available in addition to the listed amenities. You will pass a family restaurant 2 miles before the cabin. The bed is in a loft with access via a steep, narrow stairway - not recommended for mobility challenged or older (70+) folks. We loved it and plan to stay there again later this summer.
