Enjoy exploring Memphis from our brand new centrally-located apartment in the Medical District - just a few minute drive to all major tourist locations (Fedex Forum/Bass Pro/Graceland/Stax/Sun Studio/etc). Our bright two bedroom, one bathroom, apartment is in a quiet area and has onsite parking. There is wifi, a TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer - perfect for a short getaway or a work-from-home alternative. We hope you enjoy our place. Make sure to catch a pink Memphis sunset!

The property was already occupied so we barged in on a man watching TV in the late evening so it was dark outside. Thank God the man was extremely kind, as this could have been a very dangerous situation. I will say that we were refunded and compensated, but the situation itself was terrifying and very stressful trying to find somewhere else to stay on our own.

Did not stay. Codes would not work on driveway gate nor would they work on the door to the apartment. It was dark, raining and could not get in touch with the host. Tried calling and even texting. That was Friday night and I didn’t hear from the host until Sunday in a text. Can’t say anything about the apartment because we never got in. Had to check into a hotel at 11:00 that evening 12 miles from where we were. Will not be back. They should have had another person responsible for the property guests if they can’t be dependable enough.

Convenient, clean and tidy apartment in Memphis

The apartment was clean and we felt safe throughout our stay at Peabody Apartments. The apartments are gated and were easy to get and in and out of. We had a great time in Memphis and will be back!

Good stay in Memphis, but some caveats

Our stay in Memphis was nice and we found this property to be clean, comfortable, and well-located, but our stay might have been smoother had we known a few things in advance. The property is gated, which provides some security, but we weren't given a gate code before our arrival and had trouble getting in touch with the owner to get it. There are visitor spots outside the gates, and the pedestrian gate was open, so fortunately we were able to get into the apartment the first night. We were provided the gate code the 2nd day (but the pedestrian gate does seem to stay unlocked despite the keypad - the area did not feel unsafe to me, but FYI if you have security concerns). As noted above, the inside was clean and comfortable, but expected items were unavailable or in short supply, which was surprising with the price we paid (which may have been higher than usual that weekend because March madness, I think). I always bring things like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, but I forgot bodywash this time, and there was no soap in the place at all - no hand soap, no dishsoap, no laundry soap, no shower soap. There was also only one spare roll of toilet paper; although it ended up to be enough, this seemed a bit thin for 4 people for 3 nights, so we had to shop for TP and soap. Towels were also at a minimum, and no bath mat, so we had to be careful with usage. I wouldn't stay here again at the price we paid, but if you come prepared, this might be a nice, basic, convenient option.

Short Stay in Memphis

The flat was beautiful and the modern theme was lovely. The location was convenient to attractions and very close to the interstate highway if you wanted to venture outside of Memphis. It would have been great if there was an iron & ironing board. I had to get both which I wasn’t prepared to do. The bedrooms were lovely, but warm temperature wise even with the thermostat set on 69 degrees Fahrenheit. So we slept with the room doors open which we normally don’t do. Other than the two concerns I’ve mentioned it was a nice stay.

This is a great location for area attractions. The property is secure and has onsite parking. Great communication with the property manager in all aspects of our stay. The property is clean and cozy. We would love to come again.

Perfect Location For Blues, Basketball and Gambling

The property is beautifully updated and cozily decorated. It is closely located to Beale St to enjoy some Blues, FedEx Forum to catch a Grizzles game and only 30 minutes away from Tunica Mississippi if you feel like doing a little gambling. Would definitely stay again when were in the area.
