Somos una familia de Wisconsin que fomenta las vacaciones familiares en los grandes bosques del norte. En un esfuerzo por promover escapadas familiares, actualmente estamos ofreciendo nuestra residencia familiar como un retiro de vacaciones.

Ubicada en el corazón del Bosque Estatal de las Tierras Altas del Norte y en la tranquila bahía del lago Razorback, esta moderna instalación satisfará todas sus necesidades relajantes y recreativas. Si eres un excursionista, ciclista, pescador, kayakista o comprador, el Retiro Razorback no te decepcionará. Con acceso rápido a Eagle River, Minoqua, St. Germain y Boulder Junction, el comprador en usted, se llenará de boutiques únicas y destinos de compras familiares. Innumerables lagos, ríos y arroyos lo ayudarán a perderse durante días en kayak y pesca. Disfruta de un relajante paseo en bicicleta por un sendero pavimentado que se extiende desde Boulder Junction hasta Sayner.

We were there in the winter for cross-country skiing. Lots of good back country and groomed trail skiing close by. Very nice and large Northwoods cabin. Nice looking lake...

Razorback retreat is a great vacation home! Wonderfully kept and well appointed. The home has everything a family needs for a great northwoods vacation! Boat and kayak during the day. Bike to the corner store for ice cream and camp fire at night. Sayner is a great area to enjoy a week’s vacation!! Make sure you check out the ski show on Plum lake, you will not be disappointed. This year was our second year staying at razorback retreat and we intend on staying again next year. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Razorback Retreat is spectacular

This was our second year at Razorback Retreat and just as amazing as the first year! We love the layout of the place, it really works for 2 families beautifully. The lake is gorgeous, with great fishing and frogging. Larry is such a great host, we feel so lucky to have found this wonderful property.

Amazing Stay at This Beautiful Lake House!We had the most incredible time at this lake house! The property was absolutely perfect—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The views were breathtaking, with a stunning, peaceful lake right in front of us. There’s nothing better than waking up to that view each morning.The lake access was so convenient, and we had a blast kayaking and just relaxing by the water. We also loved how much wildlife we saw during our stay. There were hummingbirds everywhere, which added such a charming touch to our mornings.The house itself had plenty of room for everyone, and we felt right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy living spaces to the fully equipped kitchen. Annual Family Snowmobiling Trip (w/no snow!!!!)

This is the second year in a row that we stayed here for our yearly family snowmobiling trip. Unfortunately this year we had no snow but still got away with the family. Both years, for what we look for in our VRBO homes, this one is perfect. We plan on using it next year.

My name is Ben Jaeger. I own and operate the Razorback Retreat together with my 2 sisters, Rachael & Amanda, and my brother Seth. We have been coming up to this property for our whole lives. Making wonderful memories with our parents and grandparents is what we truly value about the Razorback Retreat. For decades we have enjoyed annual ice fishing weekends and recently welcomed a new generation of deer hunters. We are truly blessed to have this space to share with you.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our grandparents, Gib & Lucile, bought the property in 1971 with a small 2 bedroom cottage nestled on the southern bay of Razorback Lake. Winters were always tough with no running water, so in 2005 we built a year round home to enjoy every Wisconsin season. The location of the property offers a quiet setting surrounded by trees and a few other cabins. We love all the wildlife we see from the cabin. Deer, ducks, loons, squirrels, and other small birds are just a few.
The lake offers plenty of fishing opportunities as well as swimming, kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding. If waters are a little rough, there are plenty of small bays to tuck yourself away and just enjoy the quiet of the north woods.
We also enjoy being so close to Minoqua, Eagle River, Boulder Junction and St. Germain for shopping and a dose of civilization.
If you enjoy biking, hiking, cross country skiing or other physical activities, there are plenty of nearby trails to accommodate your needs.

Beautiful scenery, great fishing, kayaking, quiet location. Seated in the Northern Highlands State Forest only a hop, skip, and a jump away from Eagle River, Minoqua, and Boulder Junction. Our cabin has all the modern features you could need to stay connected, but an atmosphere that will make you want to stay disconnected.
