Steps to the beach, pet friendly, roomy and charming!

Colonial Seas unit #4 - 2 Saulsbury St. - Steps to the beach! Located in this charming ocean front complex is a pet friendly, first floor gem of an apartment! A screened in porch welcomes you with ample outdoor seating and comfort. From the porch there is access to the kitchen through the front door, or enter the spacious living room through the large slider door. In the living room area you will find a perfect space for family and friends to gather including a dining table and chairs. The large kitchen perfectly accommodates any group or family that like to cook and eat in, offering another set of table and chairs. In the hallway there is a stack washer/dryer and a full bathroom. There are two guests bedrooms and a master bedroom with a full bathroom. The community offers off street parking for 2 cars, a shared outside shower, gas grill, and private dune area at the front of the property, great for lounging, games, and barbecues.

Pet Fee. Dogs only (2 Max). 1st/2nd Dog.
2-3 Night Stays: $200/$100
4+ Night Stays: $300/$150
Notify Booking Agent of Dog(s) and Fee(s). Software bills $300/dog.

Community rules require the lease signer to be a minimum of 25 years of age and must be an occupant at the rental for the term of the lease. No smoking inside the home or porch area.

Bedding- 1 Double & 1 Single, 1 Queen, 1 Queen

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $173.25.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Perfect location, a little dated but quaint.Not as clean as I had hoped (sandy floors, hair roller under bed, rug in living room full of crumbs, comforters were stained/dirty) - but this wasn’t the home owner’s issue, more of a cleaning issue.

Fabulous!

Thank you very much! We stayed in Colonial Seas 4 for a week and enjoyed every second! Location couldn't be better. Loved walking out the door and having the beach access right there! The place is very cute. Plenty of room for five people and our dog. My o it real complaint was the screened porch. It needs a little facelift… the door is kinda ragged, screens not attached all the way around, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Thanks very much!

Birthday weekend

We had a quick weekend getaway for my son’s birthday weekend. We had a wonderful stay and love that we can walk everywhere.

Unit not as advertised

I thought I rented an Oceanfront unit based on the pictures. Upon arrival realized it was not the case. No views. No yard. Community grill was rusty and discusting. Unit was not very clean - washed bed spreads cleaned surfaces ourselves. Throw carpets were dirty and sand everywhere. We made the best of it because we were close to beach and everything else. I was going to commit this at checkout but there was no one around.

Had a great stay. Clean and so close to the beach. The condo complex was perfect for a family trip to the beach. Thank you for showing our family such a good time!

Great Central Location!!

We absolutely loved the location of this place. Right on the beach and near all restaurants. We will keep this place in our rotation for future stays.

Pricey Weekend Break

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit itself is in good condition and the location is great. Making arrangements to rent took way longer than it should have. All the “Dot Loop” documents were awful. The cost was the hardest pill to swallow with the basic rental fee of $1050 for 3 nights, after the additional 6 extra fees (including a fee for VRBO) plus tax the total came to $1860! The most we have ever paid for our 3 day Fall trip.

Great property on the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: so now I know why there were not many reviews on this property..here is ours and im being honest. this is out 3rd time down dewey and this place was the filthiest we have ever stayed.the ac units need to be thrown out and replaced all (4)the mold & dust balls coming out the vents were disgusting...i cant believe the cleaning co.didnt notice.. the ceiling fans were just as bad..never seen 1/2 thick dust/dirt like that before...shower liners need replacing..mildew screen door needs repair/replace as we couldnt have our dog on the porch as she could go thru the large hole in the screen door.floors need a mopping as our feet were black from the filth.had to wear shoes inside.living room furniture could use some updating....not very comfortable.the location to the beach was great but parking very tight and being at the end of the street everyone would turn around in our tiny parking lot.beds very comfy new coffee maker and the ice maker works great in the in the living room and back bedroom worked fine...we will not be back to this rental.

Enjoyed our stay at Dewey beach

We all enjoyed the beach house and would come back again. The close proximity to the beach was key for us! I would recommend. There was one issue with the cleaning of the property before we arrived but I am sure it was not a regular occurrence. it all worked out and we would come back again

Can’t get any closer to the beach

Everything was as advertised. Clean. Well-stocked kitchen. The path to the beach is 10 steps from the front door. Worked out very well for myself, my wife, and our adult children. Thanks.

Great Weekend in Dewey

Excellent location in the middle of Dewey Beach and just steps from the ocean. This ground floor condo had a decent screened in porch and room enough for 4 of us and our dog. No ocean view due to the sand dunes but can hear it well. Very small master bathroom and no virtually no bedroom closets but not a huge deal. The check in/check out process needs to utilize lock box instead of hand pick up and return In Rehoboth.

Super close to the beach

The location is super close to the beach - very convenient! It was great to be able to have our dog with us. The location was very cute - nice layout.

Great long weekend

Proximity to the beach, of course, was awesome, but we also appreciated how comfortable and nicely laid out the property was. The space was just right for us, our two dogs, our two grown children and their partners. We especially liked having the extra table as a game table. Communication with Nelson was excellent.

Great stay by the beach

This property is right by the beach, just as advertised. Very convenient location and great for families—we had plenty of room for our family of five, including a teenager and small ones. Excellent communication with Nelson to get checked in as well. Perfect Labor Day weekend stay.

Overall good but beds were sandy

The location in proximity to the beach was great. There was a hose to use in the front for washing off feet and an outdoor shower in the back. The place seemed pretty clean except for the beds which were all very sandy. The thing I did not like was having to pack four sets of beds sheets, pillow cases, towels. We forgot bath mats so wet feet on the floor didn’t make for a pleasant experience. We were told there were blankets there to use but they were dirty and when we pulled back the blankets to make the beds with our sheets the mattress covers were all full of sand. Besides that the place was fine.

Our Doggie Dewey

We loved the location - to the beach and to the town! Parking was well marked and Nelson made sure we could identify our two spots with photos. With condo #4 and walking into a screened in porch to gain access to the condo, we had no idea how cool and comfortable it would be to sit there on the porch and enjoy a cold beverage after a beach day, or how the dogs would love it too. The living room was adequate and comfortable as were the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. There are lots of dishes and large bowls made meals easy when we were not eating out just down the street. The outdoor shower was great and the hose in the front to spray off sandy feet and doggies. It is a great stay with dogs - the beach right there to take dogs out for a morning walk or run, and then again in the evening to play catch and jump in the ocean - during our week, there were dogs and friendly dog owners everywhere on the beach. We loved it!!!

Cozy and convenient

Excellent location steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops in Dewey. Property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of room for family of 5. Would stay here again.

Can't beat the location

Location, location, location. The proximity to the beach and Dewey attractions, like the Starboard and Dewey Beer Co., make this rental. We so enjoyed our week here. The condo itself is not huge but it worked for four adults and two kids. Tall people beware, the master bath appears to be a closet converted into a bath. It was tough for our tall friends to utilize. The main bathroom is larger, but a bit dated. The unit is nicely decorated and the beds were super comfortable. There are two reserved parking spaces out front and you really don't need your car once your arrive. We loved the porch, (shared) outdoor shower and being steps from the beach.

Great beach vacation

We loved this beach condo. We literally walked out the door and we had access to the beach. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom arrangement was perfect for our family. Everything was as stated and the owner was very helpful. I would highly recommend. We walked to many of the restaurants, stores and ice cream shop.
