great location - Clayton has always been one of my favorite streets. Walk to everything in Dewey/Rehoboth - so close to the beach, you can sit on the deck and see and hear the waves! Very comfortable unit!

A wonderful week!

The location is excellent. Just steps to the beach. Property was very clean. Kitchen has all you would need for a pleasant stay. Early morning coffee on the deck was wonderful.

Great stay and easy communication

Our group had a great week at the property. It was clean and as appeared in the pictures. Excellent location and layout. Very easy communication beforehand with the owner/property manager who was very helpful and accommodating with our group. Would definitely recommend!

Nice vacation

This was our first time staying in Dewey. Place was great, much more spacious than I imagined. very close to the beach. Parking is not too good for a family of SUV drivers but paying for on street parking is easy.

Great Location & Set Up For Adult Family

The property is located really close to the beach and in a fantastic location in Dewey (near restaurants, bars, trolley to Rehoboth). The house is very well set up for a larger family (# of bathrooms and bedrooms and locations). Well organized for everyone to have their own space. Overall great stay and would stay here again.

Great location in dog friendly town

Karen was so wonderful and immediately available for any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to the beach. Dewey is so dog friendly. It was really nice to arrive to paper products, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent so we didn’t have to go to a store on our first day.

Great Beach House - so close to everything!

We loved our stay at this beach house. Plenty of room for 10 of us and a dog. So close to the beach and breakfast and mini golf. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and ice cream. The beach house is very roomy, clean and has everything you need. The decks on each level are so nice. We loved eating outside. Nice to have the beach chairs there at the house. We will definitely be back!

This house was well cleaned, had every amenity my family of 6 required, convenient proximity to the beach and easy check in/house access. Only complaint would be that the washer & dryer aren’t fully functional so laundry was a challenge -

Family beach vacation

The Townhouse was perfectly situated in Dewey - steps away from the ocean and all the shops and restaurants in town. Our family loved the layout of the townhouse and felt like we had ample space - with two bedrooms and a bath on the lower level, great room on the second floor and two more bedrooms and bath on the third floor. I understand turnovers are quick in the summer months, but the floors need a good scrubbing. Karen, the owner, was communicative throughout the booking process and responsive to a minor repair. We hope to book another trip next year!

Perfect!

This place was perfect for what I was looking for. Upon arrival our AC was broken, our host was prompt with responding and sent a maintenance man out to us. Karen was very prompt to us and is a great host! The only concern throughout our trip was the floors in the house. Upon arrival, the floors were covered in glass and left your feet pitch black after walking on them.

Great Location…but desperately needs a deep cleaning

This home has a fabulous location for beach access and also for easy walking to restaurants. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. I must have missed the review given recently about the dirty floors and glass. The floors throughout were filthy. I swept glass & sand when I arrived and spent hours trying to wash the floors and stairs before the rest of family arrived. There was broken glass at front door and sidewalk and on moldy door mat. The entire home needs to be painted & cleaned. The beds had sand under the mattress protector!?? The deck needs to be power washed and railing painted. It’s been neglected. I never write reviews but I feel the owner needs to know because this home could be stunning.

Unfortunately we will not be returning to this property again and will stay elsewhere for future trips to Dewey. We would warn others against this property as well despite how things appear in the listing. The host of the property changed a few weeks before our trip with zero heads up or communication. Response time from the new host significantly declined (before, during and after our stay). Upon arrival the house was in need of a serious cleaning. The bare minimum had clearly been done and we found ourselves down at Walmart buying cleaning supplies pretty quickly. Shower curtains were extremely moldy, little ants were all over even in the kitchen drawers, furniture and tabletops were sticky, our feet turned black walking on the floors, smoke detectors were falling off the walls, toilet seats were cracked, shoe prints and dead bugs on the walls, a very rusted outdoor dining table that was not usable along with a grill that was not usable, the outdoor shower only produced boiling water and was not usable. Needless to say we were very disappointed. As hosts ourselves, we reached out to the host to make him aware of the state of the property and our efforts to make things more comfortable for our stay. It took quite some time to get a response and the bare minimum was offered back to us several days and a couple follow ups after our trip. Our only positive was the close location to the beach and walkable to the town shops and restaurants.

Great Location, not very clean!

The house is lovely and being so near the beach was a delight! The layout was good for families and the outside patio’s were nice to have. The property really supplied nothing you need at a house. Like, nothing. We had to buy so much stuff that we weren’t expecting. The neighbors were rude about having a dog that we needed to walk. The house was not cleaned well when we checked in! The floors turned our feet black almost immediately. We also found someone else’s garbage around the house, and my four year old niece picked up a previous guest’s THONG off the floor! Nasty. The manager was responsive and sent the cleaning crew back while we were there but they were very rude about having to come back. But after they mopped, the floors were better. They obviously didn’t clean the floors in between guests. Overall the location was the best part of the house. The cleanliness issue really needs to be taken care of. And for the price, I would’ve expected at least some basic amenities.

Great location

This property was as advertised. The location was perfect, small town, not very crowded, and within walking distance to the Rehoboth boardwalk. The property was clean and spacious enough for our family. I'm glad we read the reviews on what extras we needed to bring. They were very helpful. Great vacation property.

Great beach house in a perfect location.

The house was in the perfect location. Super nice to have the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards at our disposal. Owners were very responsive to any questions. Will definitely come again.

Great place to stay

This is the second year we have stayed at this property. It is a nice, well-equipped and spacious house, and the property manager has been great to deal with. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Dewey Beach.

Excellent Location

This house is in an excellent location, very close to the beach, restaurants and bars. The house is set up nice and was very comfortable for our extended family ages 17-87. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners at the large table and morning coffee on the deck. The house was well stocked which was very appreciated. Our family dog came with us, she loved going to the beach every morning and evening. The outside shower and hose were a bonus in keeping her clean. Karen the property manager went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to return again.

Peace at the beach

For overall, the location and amount of room with the property were outstanding. We had a very lovely time. Karen was extrememly prompt in getting back to us when two issues arose. Issues settled quickly. Our fur baby also was on vacation with us which made things easier on us. Drawbacks-Outside shower is green molded with a very sandy base. The hose to rinse your feet was located behind trash cans with a very low faucet access. The two decks provided ocean views. Outstanding location as far as beach access. Thank you so much!!
